We moved into our house, and unfortunately, it was still dirty; the previous guests' bedding was in the hallway, and the beds were unmade, a bit of a shock moment. Then I called the reception, and quickly a lady came to apologize. Shortly after, a cleaning staff member arrived; we left the house again, and when we returned, everything was in order. We used our fireplace, but unfortunately, the supermarket sold damp firewood. The hardware store in the next town has also helped us with that.

We were allowed to change the house and were just mega happy about it. The welcome with punch and mulled wine was just great! . The reception was always nice. The swimming pool was a bit cold, but they found a solution with bathrobes. The sauna was very large and varied (I was there on Women's Day) and the staff were very clean. EATING on the festival day was great. Thank you Hambachtal! The 4 of us and our pet will gladly come again.

Hambachtal is for us an ideal base to make excursions within a radius of about 100 kilometers. That the use of the swimming pool is free for guests, even on the day of departure, we found very good.

The quality of the buffet, especially in the evenings, was very good and varied; there was truly something for everyone, the dishes were always fresh, there was a very good selection of salads, and more was added until shortly before closing!
The selection of drinks was also very good, with all the important cold drinks (even juice in the evenings) and tasty house wine that paired well with the food. The entire staff was consistently friendly and helpful. When the reception was busy, there were always competent contact persons available.

The houses had everything you need, the packages with cleaning supplies, dishwasher tabs, coffee, etc., were just right for the duration of the stay. In the bathroom, there was a small (packaged) soap, and there was even enough toilet paper available. It was also nice that the forest borders the facility directly, so you can take a walk without having to drive.

It was great! We, a women's group with 9 women, were very enthusiastic and had a lot of fun. Check-in was a bit overwhelming, but the staff in the restaurant were super nice. Food (and drinks) were very delicious. Great selection. Unfortunately, archery was not possible. Houses were very small, but sufficient for a weekend. Bedroom without storage options.
