Bungalow number 169 was reserved for us, but it can only be reached via stairs, a lot of stairs up or down. My twin brother has MS, and it is not feasible for him to climb these stairs multiple times daily. He struggled so much going up the stairs that I was worried he would fall. I went to the reception and asked if it was possible to switch us to a property that was easier for my brother to reach. There was no difficulty at all, and they showed understanding for the situation. The receptionist immediately looked for a more accessible bungalow, and we were rebooked free of charge. Very well organized! The breakfast and dinner were perfect, absolutely nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, we had to cut our vacation short by a few days because my brother got sick, but I will definitely come back again.

We were there just before Corona started, and it was already great. Now that the Corona rules have been relaxed and we were welcomed back, everything is again perfectly organized! With a few safety adjustments, our stay was just like previous times!

Upon arrival, they still recognized us from the last time! How nice is that... The staff in the hospitality, reception, pool, animation – all very friendly and want to make sure you have a great time! And they succeed!

The facilities at the park and the food were all in order! Each evening something different on the menu, alongside returning dishes that the children enjoyed. Desserts were also completely fine. Despite the COVID-19 measures, it was possible to swim in the swimming paradise. Actually quite nice not to have to wait at the slide or search for a sunbed. Of course, it was a pity that they also had to say "No" to some people when the maximum number of visitors was reached. There are many sights and opportunities for entertainment in the area, even with corona measures. Enjoyed walking from the park, visited the gemstone mine, spent a day in Trier, swam a lot. It was all very nice!

How the issue with cottage 181 was resolved, where they were still cleaning at 3:15 PM and where the sofa was definitely not there, and the head of housekeeping came and acknowledged it and arranged for another cottage. We got cottage 44. And it was indeed slightly larger, and you could fit your legs in the seating area, as well as the fact that the seat of the couch was good.

What I am very curious about are the recordings made on September 10 and 11. I would like to receive a link so that I can show it to the children as well. They can always present it more beautifully and realistically than you can yourself.

We have been guests at Hambachtal before in 2007, and it was great back then. Some things in the center have been renewed regarding wall decorations and heating, which is now very modern; the previous system was also innovative and environmentally friendly in 2007. The Pyramid pool is still very beautiful, we slept in a cottage that hasn't been refurbished yet, nice and nostalgic just like in 2007, unchanged perfect spacious layout, simply nostalgic. All of this for a price (Yes, half board) that the holiday parks in the Netherlands could still learn from if they want to have us and our acquaintances over in the future.
