Description
The spacious holiday flat on the upper floor with separate entrance has a large eat-in kitchen with TV and free internet access. Two bedrooms with air conditioning and 2 single beds each. Shower room/WC. Washing machine.
Very large furnished roof terrace with table, chairs, sun loungers and awning (in summer). From here you can see over the roofs to the harbour and the bay of Marsaxlokk.
Basic but clean apartment (approx. 75m²) with very nice, hospitable landlords who live next door. Very good location.

Location and surroundings of object
Marsaxlokk, located in the south of the island, is a particularly charming fishing village. The colourful, typical Maltese fishing boats - called ‘Luzzi’ - provide a picturesque harbour backdrop. On the nearby, extensive harbour promenade you will find a variety of good and reasonably priced restaurants. There is a large market at the harbour on Sundays. Bus stop approx. 300m away; journey e.g. to Valletta 35-40 minutes (depending on traffic). Supermarket approx. 400m. Nice sandy beach approx. 15min walk. Bakery diagonally opposite

Extremely good value
Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in Ta Diegu wirklich genossen. Es war eine ruhige Lage, nur wenige Minuten vom Hafen und der Bushaltestelle entfernt. Frans und Doris waren die perfekten Vermieter und da sie nebenan wohnen, konnten sie bei allen Fragen helfen. Die Wohnung selbst ist nicht hochwertig im Innendesign, aber geräumig, luftig und sehr sauber und es gab genügend Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Ich war alleine unterwegs und habe mich darin sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt. Die Dachterrasse bot viel Platz zum Essen im Freien und Sonnenbaden. Marsaxlokk hat eine gute Auswahl an Restaurants an der Hafenpromenade und alle Mahlzeiten, die ich dort gegessen habe, waren köstlich und preiswert. Sie sind zur Mittagszeit sehr beschäftigt, aber nicht alle Restaurants sind abends geöffnet, was Marsaxlokk zu einem ruhigen und friedlichen Urlaubsort macht. Ich besuche die Inseln sehr regelmäßig und werde auf jeden Fall wieder bei Ta Diegu übernachten.

Really relaxing days!
we (2 adults, 1 child) spent a lovely, relaxed week in a nice holiday flat - everything was within easy reach from there, nice local landlords, lots of interesting options and a small town "with flair"....

Great recreation!
A spacious and well furnished flat with an inviting roof garden with nice and helpful landlords. Situated in a good view position to the sea at the most beautiful fishing harbour of Malta with a lot of flair and good transport connections to all parts of the island, so that my rental car was not absolutely necessary, but still useful. Marsaxlokk is a mature village in the south of the island on a picturesque bay with well-kept gastronomy and good shopping facilities, so without the hectic hustle and bustle of some other holiday destinations.
