You will be staying in an ancient farm made of pink sandstones and built in 1880 . Freestones, wainscot and exposed beams emphasize the genuine spirit of this place . The country furniture underlines this spirit, offering you the comfort of modern facilities (rated 3 epis by Gites de france) . The 140 m2 gite can easily accomodate 8 people in its 4 bedrooms .

Location and surroundings of object

Located outside the village (800m away, down a forest track), the farm of the fountain will plunge you into a world of greenery . You will be surrounded by the sounds of birds singing and water flowing from the fountain, while joying forgotten scents .
Our donkeys, ponies and horses sometimes liven up the neighbouring prairies by walking around . If they don't, it's not unusual to come across the wild "inhabitants" of the forest .
To enjoy this scenery, a set of garden furniture along with deckchairs and a barbecue set are at your disposal .
The children, always bursting with energy, will have forest and prairies as a playground . Not counting the swings, the slide and the fountain Between Strasbourg and Colmar, in the green Villé valley, the farm of the fountain is welcoming you . On the edge of the regional park of the "Ballon des vosges", you will be at the hearth of Alsace .
The surroundings
The quiet countryside and the everchanging scenery is the environment we live in . Not far from here, the wine route as well as the Meccas of history, gastronomy and culture are awaiting you for thrilling days out .

Dream holiday

This is exactly how we had imagined our Easter holiday. The location is uniquely quiet and idyllic. Le corps de ferme is a bit away from Fouchy, but you are right next to the forest and almost alone. Only the donkeys come by from time to time...
The house is rustically furnished and offers a lot of space. Especially practical for e.g. two families: downstairs they live together, upstairs each family has its own kingdom with 2 double rooms and bathroom. The sun terrace and the large meadow around the house are unique. Clarisse is very nice and welcomed us with Alsatian Gugelhupf and apple juice. We have already recommended the farm directly to others.

Urlaub im Elsass

We (3 families) felt very comfortable this week. The adjacent houses are fully equipped and lovingly furnished. Mrs. Neppel is very nice and always attentive to the well-being of her guests. Those looking for a place of peace and relaxation should be right here.

Super-relaxing week!

After the somewhat 'bumpy' journey, we were first impressed by the friendliness of the reception and the cleanliness of the house! The house is in great shape and has everything you need!
With our dog, we found lots of really beautiful hiking and walking paths near the house. Really great!
We simply had a great week, with an extra thank you to Mrs Neppel for the outstanding service.

Completely satisfied.

In June 2020, we enjoyed a beautiful family vacation (4 adults and 3 children) in the farmhouse (le corps de ferme) in Fouchy. The typically constructed farmhouse is situated fairly isolated at the edge of the forest. The arrival via bumpy forest paths is somewhat unusual. Upon our arrival, we received necessary information about "the house, land, and people", allowing us to easily find markets (supermarket, farmers' markets), self-catering stores, restaurants, and attractions. The house with a spacious layout (living room, dining room, kitchen) is tastefully decorated with modern and antique furniture. The kitchen is excellently equipped with appliances, pans, pots, dishes, etc. The two separate staircases leading to the upper floor with bedrooms and bathrooms provide separate retreat options for both young and old. An unforgettable attraction for children (2 to 6 years old) was donkey riding in the surrounding area. The adults also got to know fields, forests, and hiking trails, especially the meadows with blueberries, which were also collected by the locals. All in all, we had a peaceful, relaxing holiday - despite "Corona". The relatively short trips to places like Schlettstadt, Strasbourg, Colmar, and Mulhouse also contributed to this. In this respect, Fouchy is an ideal location. Thank you very much, Clarisse, for the fairytale holiday. We would like to point out that the price-performance ratio was in line with the guests' expectations and the advertising on the Internet is reliable.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location.

With 7 adults and 2 children, we inhabited the wonderful house in Alsace. The kitchen is well-equipped, providing everything needed for cooking and enjoying meals. The entire house is lovingly decorated and everything was very clean. The place is wonderful for children as well. There are even toys in the house and a great outdoor area in the middle of nature. Clarisse is a warm and uncomplicated host. We were all completely satisfied and would love to come back!

Herrliches Elsass

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

We have booked the holiday home for the third time and are once again thrilled. The holiday home is lovingly equipped with everything needed. Clarrise Neppel always provides helpful advice and assistance when information or something in the house is needed. Books, information material, etc. are available. We found it very positive that the building and the furnishings are continually modernized. We found a renovated bathroom, a new television, garden furniture, etc. The location on the edge of the Vosges is wonderfully quiet and absolutely close to nature. Hiking trails are instantly accessible. However, access is only possible via a gravel road, which is not a problem for normal cars (not lowered). We would love to come back!

Holiday in a holiday home with 7 people and two dogs.

This was our second vacation at Clarisse's, and again, it was beautiful. The quiet, secluded location offers great relaxation, the house provides enough space for 6-8 people and is lovingly decorated. Hikes are possible directly from the house, but also the tourist destinations of Alsace and the Vosges are easily accessible. And Clarisse is a wonderful, warm host - we immediately felt welcome!

Quiet beautiful holiday

Very beautiful, large, cozy holiday home with ample bedrooms and two separate showers. Ideal for dogs, as no cars drive here and the house is located directly on the hiking trail. Good and affordable restaurant in the village. Many excursion possibilities within a 50 KM radius. Very nice and especially animal-friendly landlady.

Traumhaft schönes Bauerhaus

We spent a week between the years and over New Year's in "Le Corps de Ferme". The farmhouse is lovingly renovated and very tastefully decorated. Clarisse set up a Christmas tree and decorated the entire house with care for Christmas. Our son (11 years) enjoyed the TV and Wi-Fi. The location is in the middle of the forest, very idyllic and incredibly beautiful. It was totally relaxing for us, very quiet, and we felt super refreshed during that week. Hikes and walks with the dog, a visit to Haut-Koenigsburg, and the Alsatian cuisine we enjoyed very much.
We would come back anytime.
PS: Clarisse's honey is world class.

Holiday cottages at Col de Fouchy

We rented the beautifully and lovingly restored former farmhouse at Col de Fouchy for a week. The house is beautifully situated on a small forest path that runs parallel to the road to Col de Fouchy at a distance of about 500 metres. The house and the surroundings were very nice. There is a large meadow in front of the house. Our dog really only wanted to live outside. There is a large table in the courtyard so you can sit and eat in front of the house when the sun is shining. The nice owner came by every day for a chat and asked if everything was OK. She took good care of us.
The house is very well situated for trips to the Rhine valley (not far from the beautiful town of Selestat or the Hoch Königsburg and the wine route).
However, I like the mountains of the Vosges better and there are many possibilities for hiking and cycling here.

Pure relaxation

We (four adults and two children) spent a wonderful and relaxing holiday at "Le Corps de Ferme"!
We immediately felt at home, which was very easy thanks to our warm hostess Clarisse, a lovely and perfectly equipped holiday flat and the super nice and quiet location. The children also loved it: There is plenty of space to play and romp around, and the donkeys on the doorstep and a donkey ride are real highlights. Everything else is there as described and the location is a great starting point for hiking, exploring Alsace further or just a quiet place to laze in a deck chair.
We can (and already do) absolutely recommend the flat!

Beautiful farmhouse in a lovely, quiet location

We felt completely at home in the beautiful, lovingly furnished old farmhouse. Everything you need for everyday life is there. It is located in the middle of the forest, just right if you love nature and peace. You can go hiking or just spend relaxing hours in a deck chair on the terrace or the meadow. The area is simply beautiful and it is worth taking trips to the surrounding nice villages or beautiful places like Colmar.

Wonderful vacation retreat

The holiday home is in a beautiful location, the furnishings are practical and lovely, and the owner is very helpful. The donkey hike was a hit with the children, and for the adults, there is a wonderful hiking area within walking distance of the apartment (about 40 minutes to Col de Fouchy). Nice smaller towns in the area to explore, a beautiful weekly market in Villé, a swimming pool... The apartment itself is also very suitable for 2 families or 3 generations as 2 out of the 4 bedrooms can be reached via a different staircase and have their own bathroom. We had a truly wonderful vacation and would love to come back.

Booked for next year already.

For all those who love nature and animals, a dream.

Clarisse is truly as nice as the reviews say.

The donkeys and the pony are the greatest for children.

Driving to the village bakery in the morning and enjoying baguette and croissants for breakfast outside with a view of the donkeys, what more could you want.

The dogs were also allowed and felt very comfortable.

Anytime again!!!

everything great - highly recommended - we would love to come back

A beautiful, lovingly furnished holiday home in typical Alsatian style, quiet location in the middle of nature, everything found in top condition, clean, the landlady was very friendly, attentive, accommodating, lots of space, very suitable for 2 families or a group as there are two separate sleeping areas, each with two bedrooms and their own bathroom with toilet, as well as an additional 3rd. Toilet, we only missed an outdoor fire pit near the house, as we enjoyed spending the evenings outside in the wonderful temperatures :)

Corps de ferme

The location and facilities (small exception: frying pan) delighted us, as did the Ferme de la Fontaine and its human and animal inhabitants. As city dwellers, we found the quiet nights with open windows (only the sound of the stream, rustling leaves, and occasional calls of an owl were audible) and freshest air refreshing. And as an allergy sufferer, I especially appreciated the low-allergen furnishings (untreated real wood, tiled floors, etc.). As we mostly inhabited the large house with 4 bedrooms as a couple, the price-performance ratio was naturally not optimal, but this was our decision. It would be nice if the access road would be somewhat renewed, especially freed from the sharp stones.

Perfekt

We spent a perfect long weekend here. The location and facilities of the house could not be better. Everything in the house arranged with great attention to detail. Super friendly landlady. Upon arrival, the homemade Gugelhupf cake and the most delicious apple juice ever were already on the table. Once again, a heartfelt thank you to Clarisse.

Leaving home and arriving at home.

We spent a truly wonderful week with Clarisse. Clarisse took care of everything, even providing wonderful late summer weather. The house is comfortably furnished, well-equipped, and the location is fantastic: Far away from everything, right in the middle of the forest. In the morning, you step out the door and are greeted by the horses and donkeys. An ideal place for a holiday with a dog. We will definitely come back next year!

Nice break away from the hustle and bustle

We spent a beautiful week in the idyllic holiday home. Everything was perfect, ideal for six people. Here you can relax and enjoy the silence in the beautiful surroundings until late at night when the weather is nice. Very friendly landlords who sweetened our arrival with a typical Alsatian Kougelhopf and delicious apple juice.

Idyllisch und wunderschön

The house is beautifully situated in the greenery. Ideal for hikes but also for excursions, for example to Strasbourg, Colmar... The owner Clarisse is also a particularly nice person. We were welcomed so warmly. The house is great. It was the perfect vacation.
