Location and surroundings of object
Located outside the village (800m away, down a forest track), the farm of the fountain will plunge you into a world of greenery . You will be surrounded by the sounds of birds singing and water flowing from the fountain, while joying forgotten scents .
Our donkeys, ponies and horses sometimes liven up the neighbouring prairies by walking around . If they don't, it's not unusual to come across the wild "inhabitants" of the forest .
To enjoy this scenery, a set of garden furniture along with deckchairs and a barbecue set are at your disposal .
The children, always bursting with energy, will have forest and prairies as a playground . Not counting the swings, the slide and the fountain Between Strasbourg and Colmar, in the green Villé valley, the farm of the fountain is welcoming you . On the edge of the regional park of the "Ballon des vosges", you will be at the hearth of Alsace .
The surroundings
The quiet countryside and the everchanging scenery is the environment we live in . Not far from here, the wine route as well as the Meccas of history, gastronomy and culture are awaiting you for thrilling days out .

Dream holiday
This is exactly how we had imagined our Easter holiday. The location is uniquely quiet and idyllic. Le corps de ferme is a bit away from Fouchy, but you are right next to the forest and almost alone. Only the donkeys come by from time to time...
The house is rustically furnished and offers a lot of space. Especially practical for e.g. two families: downstairs they live together, upstairs each family has its own kingdom with 2 double rooms and bathroom. The sun terrace and the large meadow around the house are unique. Clarisse is very nice and welcomed us with Alsatian Gugelhupf and apple juice. We have already recommended the farm directly to others.

Urlaub im Elsass
We (3 families) felt very comfortable this week. The adjacent houses are fully equipped and lovingly furnished. Mrs. Neppel is very nice and always attentive to the well-being of her guests. Those looking for a place of peace and relaxation should be right here.

Super-relaxing week!
After the somewhat 'bumpy' journey, we were first impressed by the friendliness of the reception and the cleanliness of the house! The house is in great shape and has everything you need!
With our dog, we found lots of really beautiful hiking and walking paths near the house. Really great!
We simply had a great week, with an extra thank you to Mrs Neppel for the outstanding service.

Completely satisfied.
In June 2020, we enjoyed a beautiful family vacation (4 adults and 3 children) in the farmhouse (le corps de ferme) in Fouchy. The typically constructed farmhouse is situated fairly isolated at the edge of the forest. The arrival via bumpy forest paths is somewhat unusual. Upon our arrival, we received necessary information about "the house, land, and people", allowing us to easily find markets (supermarket, farmers' markets), self-catering stores, restaurants, and attractions. The house with a spacious layout (living room, dining room, kitchen) is tastefully decorated with modern and antique furniture. The kitchen is excellently equipped with appliances, pans, pots, dishes, etc. The two separate staircases leading to the upper floor with bedrooms and bathrooms provide separate retreat options for both young and old. An unforgettable attraction for children (2 to 6 years old) was donkey riding in the surrounding area. The adults also got to know fields, forests, and hiking trails, especially the meadows with blueberries, which were also collected by the locals. All in all, we had a peaceful, relaxing holiday - despite "Corona". The relatively short trips to places like Schlettstadt, Strasbourg, Colmar, and Mulhouse also contributed to this. In this respect, Fouchy is an ideal location. Thank you very much, Clarisse, for the fairytale holiday. We would like to point out that the price-performance ratio was in line with the guests' expectations and the advertising on the Internet is reliable.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location.
With 7 adults and 2 children, we inhabited the wonderful house in Alsace. The kitchen is well-equipped, providing everything needed for cooking and enjoying meals. The entire house is lovingly decorated and everything was very clean. The place is wonderful for children as well. There are even toys in the house and a great outdoor area in the middle of nature. Clarisse is a warm and uncomplicated host. We were all completely satisfied and would love to come back!

Das Haus ist rustikal eingerichtet und bietet sehr viel Platz. Besonders praktisch für z.B. zwei Familien: unten im EG zusammen wohnen, oben hat jede Familie ihr eigenes Reich mit je 2 Doppelzimmern und Bad. Die Sonnenterrasse und die große Wiese um das Haus sind einmalig. Clarisse ist sehr nett und hat uns mit elsässer Gugelhupf und Apfelsaft empfangen. Wir haben den Bauernhof schon direkt weiter empfohlen.
Mit unserem Hund haben wir in den Tagen dann auch jede Menge wirklich sehr schöner Wander- und Spazierwege nahe ums Haus gefunden. Wirklich toll!
Wir hatten schlicht eine super Woche, mit einem extra-Dank an Frau Neppel für den überragenden Service.
Bei der Begrüßung gab es die notwendigen Informationen über „Haus, Land und Leute“, so daß wir die Märkte (Supermarkt, Bauernmärkte), Läden zur Selbstversorgung, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht finden konnten. Das Haus mit großzügiger Raumaufteilung (Wohnzimmer, Eßzimmer, Küche) ist mit modernen und alten Möbeln sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche mit Geräten, Pfannen, Töpfe, Geschirr etc. hervorragend ausgestattet. Die zwei getrennten Aufgänge, die in das obere Stockwerk zu den Schlafzimmern und den Bädern führen, ermöglichten für Jung und Alt getrennte Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Eine unvergeßliche Attraktion für die Kinder (2 bis 6 Jahre) war das Eselreiten in die Umgebung. Dabei lernten auch die Erwachsenen Feld, Wald und Wanderwege kennen und vor allem die Matten mit den Heidelbeeren, die ebenso von den Einheimischen gesammelt wurden. Alles in allem haben wir einen ruhigen, erholsamen Urlaub – trotz „Corona“ – verbracht. Dazu beigetragen haben auch die relativ kurzen Fahrten, z. B. nach Schlettstadt, Straßburg, Colmar und Mülhausen. Insofern ist Fouchy ein idealer Standort.
Herzlichen Dank Clarisse für den märchenhaften Urlaub. Sachlich möchten wir noch anmerken, daß das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im Sinne der Gäste gestimmt hat und die Anpreisungen im Internet verläßlich sind.
Clarrise Neppel steht immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, wenn Informationen oder etwas im Haus benötigt wird. Bücher, Informationsmaterial, ... steht zur Verfügung.
Sehr positiv fanden wir, dass das Gebäude und die Einrichtung immer wieder modernisiert werden. Wir fanden ein erneuertes Bad, einen neuen Fernseher, Gartenmöbel, ... vor.
Die Lage am Vogesenrand ist traumhaft ruhig und absolut naturnah. Wanderwege sind sofort zu erreichen. Allerdings ist die Zufahrt nur über einen Schotterweg zu erreichen, der aber für normale Autos kein Problem (nicht tiefergelegt) ist.
Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Ideal mit Hunden, da hier keine Autos mehr fahren und das Haus direkt am Wanderweg liegt. Gutes und preiswertes Restaurant am Ort. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten im Radius von 50 KM.
Sehr nette und besonders tierfreundliche Vermieterin.
Die Location liegt mitten im Wald, sehr idyllisch und traumhaft schön.
Für uns war es total entspannt, sehr ruhig und in dieser Woche haben wir uns super erholt.
Wanderungen und Spaziergänge mit Hund, Ausflug nach Haut-Königsburg und die elsässische Küche haben wir sehr genossen.
Wir würden jederzeit nochmal wiederkommen.
PS: der Honig von Clarisse ist weltklasse.
Das Haus liegt sehr gut um Ausflüge in die Rheinebene zu machen ( nicht weit vom schönen Städtchen Selestat oder der Hoch Königsburg und der Weinstraße.
Mir gefallen allerdings die Berge der Vogesen besser und da hat man hier viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Radfahren.
Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt, was dank unserer herzlichen Gastgeberin Clarisse, einer liebevollen und perfekt ausgestatten Ferienwohnung und der superschöner ruhigen Lage ganz einfach möglich war. Auch den Kindern hat es super gefallen: Es ist ausreichend Platz zum Spielen und Toben vorhanden und die Esel vor der Haustür sowie ein Eselausritt sind echte Highlights. Auch ansonsten ist alles wie beschrieben vorhanden und die Lage ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, zur weiteren Erkundung des Elsass oder einfach ein ruhiger Ort, um im Liegestuhl zu Faulenzen.
Wir können (und tun dies bereits fleißig) die Ferienwohnung absolut weiterempfehlen!

Clarisse ist wirklich genauso nett, wie in den Bewertungen zu lesen ist.
Die Esel und das Pony sind für Kinder das Größte.
Morgens in das Dorf zur Bäckerei fahren und das Baguette und die Croissants zum Frühstück draussen mit Blick auf die Esel geniessen, was will man mehr.
Auch die Hunde durften mit und haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Da wir überwiegend zu zweit das große Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern bewohnten, war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis natürlich nicht optimal, aber dies war unsere Entscheidung. Schön wäre es, wenn der Zufahrtsweg ein wenig erneuert würde, vor allem von den spitzen Steinen befreit.
Alles im Haus mit viel Liebe zum Detail arrangiert.Super nette Vermieterin.Bei der Ankunft stand der selbstgemachte Gugelhupf sowie der leckerste Apfelsaft überhaupt schon auf dem Tisch.Nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön an Clarisse
Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet - die Lage ist fantastisch: Weit weg von allem, mitten im Wald. Morgens tritt man vor die Haustür und wird von den Pferden und den Eseln begrüßt. Ein idealer Ort für einen Urlaub mit Hund.

Ein ganz besonders netter Mensch ist auch die Vermieterin Clarisse. Wir würden so herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist toll. Es war der perfekte Urlaub.
