Welcome to Virginia Apartments in Gardenosbeach in the southwest of the island of Corfu. Gardenos is located 30 km from Ioannis Kapodistrias airport and 5 km from the second largest town of Corfu, Lefkimi. Virginia Apartments is 150m away from one of the most beautiful sandy beaches. Our accommodation offers on the upper floor a two-bedroom flat suitable for up to 5 persons with sea view. This flat also has a balcony. In the basement we also offer a two-room flat and a studio with one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The lower flats have direct access to the beautiful garden. All rooms have air conditioning, a wardrobe, a flat screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen, towels and a terrace with garden view. All rooms are equipped with a refrigerator. The two two-room flats are about 50m². The studio is 30m². In the kitchen you will find a toaster, kettle, kitchen utensils, cooker top. In the bathroom you will also find a hairdryer and toilet paper. Our guests can also use the washing machine which is available for all flats.
There is plenty of space for your children to play. Parking facilities for your car are available at the house. The accommodation offers free internet access as well as German TV in most flats.
Gardeno is one of the greenest places on Corfu. A beautiful fishing village with clean sandy beaches and crystal clear sea. The small harbour and the mountain hills form a beautiful landscape. From one side the blue sea and from the other side the beautiful nature.
In the village you will find restaurants, fish taverns, bars, cafés, mini markets and telephone. The next bigger town is 5 km away and is called Lefkimi. There you will find everything you need and of course several banks. So you don't need to bring much cash with you. Other nearby towns are Argyrades, Perivoli, Vitalades and Petriti.
On the western side of the island are the most beautiful sandy beaches. These are ideal for walks, especially at sunset.
In the northwest of the island you will find the paradisiacal beaches of Glyfada, Agios Gordios and Ermones. On Paleokastritsa, visit the monastery. From Liapades you have a panoramic view of the bays and coasts of the island. Further north are the towns of Sidari, Roda, the graphic port of Kassiopi and Acharavi. In these places the number of tourists is very high. The eastern side of the island also offers beauty. These include the places of Agios Stefanos, Kalami, Nissaki, Barbati and Ipsos
The island of Corfu is a delight with many beauties and sights, as well as hospitality. The tradition in many places is maintained. An unforgettable holiday is in store for you.

The island of Corfu, or Kerkyra as the locals call it, is located in the Ionian Sea and part of the Adriatic Sea. It is the seventh largest island in Greece. It is located in the west of Greece. It has a size of 585.312 km². The capital of the island is Corfu Town. Here you can notice the Venetian influence in the architecture, as it was under Venetian rule for several years. Corfu got the name the Green Island because of the plantations of olive trees and cypresses.A beautiful and picturesque landscape that fascinates every guest. Not to be overlooked is also the longstanding rule of the British on the island.Thus, one can find a cricket pitch in Liston.A must is definitely Sisi's palace to visit in Achilion.It was built in 1890 and later acquired by Kaiser Wilhelm and thus became his holiday accommodation.In addition, one should also look at the Venetian fortress.This served against the attacks of the Sultan.The island has never been conquered.In the north of the island there is the fortress of Agilokastro, which was also used to defend the island from conquerors.
