Description
This lovely spacious cottage is beautifully situated in the green, at the foot of the dunes and close to the beach. In the spacious enclosed garden with complete privacy you can relax: the children can play, there is plenty of room to sit outside (patio heating is also available) and there is also a small outdoor pool (with hot and cold water), and trampoline. The location on the beautiful Schouwen Duiveland is perfect, you walk into the dunes while all facilities are also nearby. Burgh Haamstede has many cozy restaurants, good stores and it is also delicious to a beach to drink and eat. In short: enjoy! The beautiful beaches of Nieuw Haamstede and Renesse are also nearby, and for a day of shopping and culture, the city of Zierikzee is the right destination.
One of the nicest places in the house is the lovely sitting area with fireplace and beautiful views of the green garden. With the fireplace, the house is also a wonderful destination in the winter. Through all the glass you imagine yourself in the middle of the green. All glass walls can be opened, so you can walk from the kitchen / living room into the garden. The kitchen table with chairs and corner bench offers a cozy space for the whole family. Furthermore, there is a separate toilet on the first floor.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee makers (Nespresso and filter), kettle, oven but also for example, an orange juicer, herbs, grill pan, hand blender, blender and toaster is thought.
The garden is very spacious, enclosed and offers complete privacy. It is a beautiful green area throughout the year. The deer walk very regularly along the front of the house. For the children there is a small pool, plenty of room to play, a trampoline and next to the cottage just outside the garden is a table tennis table and bocce court.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 on the first floor with ensuite bathroom. This bedroom can be closed off with a sliding door. The other 2 bedrooms are on the 1st floor, where you will also find the 2nd bathroom. All beds can be used as 1-person or 2-person beds, because the box springs can be pushed apart. There is also a baby / children's camp bed.

Vacation like at home - only better
The house is beautiful and close to nature, located on the edge of the quiet park Zeeduin. You can reach the very good Sonneman bakery in 10 minutes on foot. 2-3 restaurants are also within walking distance in a few minutes. For larger groceries, you can also walk to the large supermarket, but the way back can be long with full shopping bags; by car it takes about 5-10 minutes.
The house is as described/shown in the pictures and in a well-maintained condition. The furnishings are functional and modern, the kitchen well-equipped - with two refrigerators, gas stove, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes. Unfortunately, we couldn't fully enjoy the beautiful garden in the autumn because it often rained, but in the summer, it is another wonderful place to stay.
But even in autumn weather, the house is very inviting. The cozy corner bench and sofa corner invite you to relax. We didn't use the gas fireplace, but it would be the icing on the cake for coziness!
We really felt comfortable and would come back anytime.
The contact with the landlady, Ilse, was straightforward and friendly.
There are two things I want to mention because they were not so clear to me on the website, but they may be important for some: The downstairs bedroom is practically connected to the living room, so you don't really have peace and quiet in the bedroom if the TV is running in the living room. There is no intermediate door.
And the upstairs bathroom is actually just a shower, as there is hardly any splash protection. Technically, when someone is showering, no one else can be in the bathroom. There is no toilet upstairs.

Modern holiday home
Very modern furnishings, large non-visible fenced garden, quiet location and in less than 10 minutes you are at the beach. The attentive holiday home owners are always approachable. The house is simply top! Highly recommended! Here you and also our dog feel very comfortable...
