Description
Our bungalow is lovingly furnished and accommodates two adults. In the bedroom, there is a double bed (160/200) and a single bed (90/200). The kitchen is open and small. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, shower, and underfloor heating. The terrace, which was renovated in 2024, is very popular. It offers views of the courtyard, field, and forest.

The large garden offers them relaxation, tranquility, and magnificent views of the forest and fields. They can round off their eventful vacation day with a barbecue or simply by sitting comfortably together on the terrace.
Wieck is the ideal starting point for cycling tours and hikes through the Darßer Forest, to the wildly romantic West Beach, and around the Bodden. The holiday resorts of Prerow, Zingst, or Ahrenshoop with their wonderfully white sandy beaches are within a short distance by bike or car. Excursions by car to Stralsund, Rostock, Vogelpark Marlow, or Karl's Erlebnishof will be worthwhile and will also provide a lot of fun for the little ones.

We were warmly welcomed, and the small holiday cottage looked even cozier than in the photos. Everything was very clean, and the decor feels very modern, yet still has a rustic touch that fits well with the cabin and the surroundings. Inside, there is a large table with 3 chairs, where we could also play a few games; there was enough space for eating, etc. In the bathroom, there is a spacious shower, and for children, even a toilet with an integrated child seat. In the kitchen, there is a small "single kitchen," meaning 2 hot plates, a sink, and a refrigerator, which was completely sufficient for the two of us. Additionally, there is a kettle, a toaster, and a coffee machine. There is also a lot of dishes, cutlery, and various other cooking utensils. In the bedroom, there is a large double bed and even a single bed. For the clothes, there is a large dresser and many hooks with hangers on the wall, which was sufficient for the two of us. Personally, we found the mattresses in the large double bed a bit too soft, but that's a matter of taste.
What we liked the most was the large terrace, with a big table and 4 chairs. You have a nice view of the courtyard and the forest. The terrace is protected from wind and rain, you can sit there in any weather and enjoy the peace. If you like it quiet, this is the right place. Birds are chirping all around you, and you have this beautiful view of the yard, where there are also some animals. There are chickens, cats, horses, and rabbits. For allergy sufferers: there is plenty of distance from the animals, but sometimes one of the 3 cats runs across the terrace, but they are rather shy and quickly disappear again. Thank you very much to the Sennewald family for these 10 wonderful days. Better and more relaxed than with you, it’s hardly possible; we would love to come back! Best regards, Viola and Thomas

Super happy
We are the Heinemann family and stayed here with our two children for 16 days. There is really only positive things to say, heavenly peace with absolutely great views of the forest and meadows with grazing water buffalo. On the property itself, there are also many animals, which was a real holiday experience for our children. Especially the separation from the cat Kiki was difficult for all of us. Beaches are also quickly accessible. It is also recommended to rent a motorboat at the Wieck harbor, which the children really enjoyed. In conclusion, all that remains to be said is that you can expect nice hosts and a small but really fine holiday home here.

Das ganz besondere Ostseeerlebnis
If you want to experience the full beauty of the Baltic Sea, away from unpleasant hustle and mass tourism, are willing to be active on your way to the Weststrand of Darß and want to experience and appreciate the uniqueness of the Darß forest and the Bodden landscape, then this accommodation is just right for you. We had a very nice summer holiday here in Aug/Sep 2016, right on the edge of the forest, with very nice landlords. Horses, rabbits, and cats in close proximity delighted our grandson, as did the daily bike tours in a trailer through this special nature to many destinations. Every breakfast on the covered terrace with a wide view in a pleasantly quiet environment. The short daily bike ride to the bakery in the original village location, we have loved Darß for many years and would also like to highly recommend this holiday home. Winter in Wieck
We would like to sincerely thank the Sennewald family once again for the relaxing winter days from December 26th to December 30th, 2010. Furthermore, we found our entertainment program wonderful. We had a lot of fun sledding through the fairytale forest and grilling in the snow. A glass of mulled wine in the evening made the romance perfect. Dinner at the Zum Eikkoter restaurant is recommended. There are shopping facilities and for shopping we went to the nearby Zingst.
