Description

Exclusive detached country house in a quiet location, right at the foot of Taubenberg. The house has been completely renovated and furnished and is situated on a 750 sqm property. On 165 sqm of living space you will find 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a rustic kitchen with a cozy dining area. Also, on the ground floor there is a large living room with a tiled stove and access to the spacious terrace, facing south. For relaxation, the in-house wellness oasis with a sauna is available (not in July and August).
Due to its central location, excursions to the mountains or the Upper Bavarian lakes, as well as visits to the state capital Munich, are easily accessible.
The landlord is happy to assist with your leisure planning on site.
Enjoy the surroundings on hiking and biking tours.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday house is located in a small village close to the hill Taubenberg. In Warngau you find a bakery and some small shops for the day live. Holzkirchen with the infrastructure of a provincial town is some minutes away by car. Osterwarngau is 10 km in the North of the Tegernsee. The town Osterwarngau is part of the commune Warngau, the gate to the Tegernsee valley. Munich is reachable in 20 Minutes by car. For visiting the October beer festival we recommend to go by train.
Experience the Bavarian tradition while visiting the local events like setting up the maypole, town festival, Leonhardi horse riding and schnabler sledge race or just visit one of the numerous lake festivals.
In the winter time the skiing region Spitzingsee and Sudelfeld are just 30 minutes away by car. With the first snow you can also use the cross country skiing run around Warngau.

Super beautiful vacation

The holiday home offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation and more. It is very spacious, very well equipped - including the kitchen - and offers fantastic relaxation in a quiet location. The landlords are very friendly and helpful, always available by phone and gave us many tips for the holiday in advance. We visited Munich with Frauenkirche, Glockenspiel, Viktualienmarkt, the old department store Bach with its beautiful traditional costumes, Hofbräuhaus and Hofgarten, were at the Technical Museum, at the Marcus Wasmeier Open-Air Museum Schliersee, in Tegernsee - of course also in the Bräustüberl!, took the mountain railway to Wallberg, visited the restaurant Kloster Reutberg and also visited the restaurants in the area. Kufstein, Ellmau, and Kitzbühel were also on the program, so there was not enough time to use the loungers and the garden. Maybe we will succeed in booking this beautiful holiday home again, there would still be enough program left! Thanks again to the Gurland family!! Gerhard and Ingrid Rau

A week of dreamlike relaxation

The holiday home can be recommended without reservation. The furnishings are perfect, the wellness area is absolutely amazing. The quiet location of the house is top. The landlords are very nice, friendly and helpful. The only suggestion for improvement would be a new barbecue with a fireplace for the charcoals. But that is complaining on a high level. The area around the lakes is beautiful and offers a lot of variety.

Simply perfect

We have had many years of holiday home experience, but this one was awesome. Plenty of space, quiet location, a well-equipped kitchen (enough dishes, pots and pans, everything), a mega wellness area and super nice hosts who are always available
The location is quiet, but still central. Excursions in all directions are possible.
I can only recommend booking the wellness area.

Beautiful hiking week

The house is in top condition. From Warngau, Tegernsee, Schliersee and Spitzingsee are easy to reach.
The tips from Mr. Gurland including the information folder on the surrounding area was very helpful. Since one week was too short to see everything, we decided to book again for next year.

Very nice holiday destination for holidays with dog

We had a lovely time in this beautiful holiday home and really enjoyed our holiday!
The house is located in a beautiful region and after a few steps you are directly in the forest . Ideal for a holiday with a dog.
The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired and is of high quality and very well maintained.
The landlords are very attentive and friendly.
We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it !!!!

Great accommodation!

A very nice, spacious house. Everything you need for your daily needs is there. Of course, the wellness area is unbeatable, which we used very often because the weather was not so kind to us. We have never experienced such heavy snowfall at the end of April. So it was even nicer to relax in the wellness area after hikes in rain and snow. Our dogs also had fun. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the outdoor area due to the weather, so we can't give a meaningful evaluation, except that the garden is very well maintained, but not completely closed for adventurous dogs.

Perfect !

We spent a wonderful, relaxing holiday week in the great and well-equipped holiday home
We felt at home in the holiday home from the moment we entered it until we left. Everything is in a very good and absolutely clean condition without any defects.
The kitchen is perfectly equipped and lacks nothing.
You should definitely book the wellness oasis, especially in autumn and winter with the long evenings.
We were able to make good use of the beautiful sunny terrace even at the end of September.
The house and property are well suited for visitors with dogs, but these four-legged friends should not be too freedom-loving and should accept the existing enclosure.
The holiday home is in an absolutely quiet location in. With the windows open, the only sounds we could hear at night were the church bells and the soft tinkling of the cow bells.

We would like to thank the Gurland family for a wonderful week's holiday in their holiday home and would recommend it without reservation.

Pure relaxation!

A great house with a superbly beautiful rural-style decor. Very cozy, quiet, yet everything is easily accessible by car.

The spa area is fantastic, the pictures on the internet don't do it justice.

You enter the house and immediately feel comfortable and at home.

We can especially imagine the house in spring, summer, and fall, as the garden/terrace area is also very beautiful and spacious. Unfortunately, it is not completely fenced, which is difficult with a dog.

Conclusion, however, we will definitely come back and then preferably in the autumn, where you can make beautiful hikes directly from the house! ! ! ! ! !

One more addition, the house is still suitable for seniors and those with limited mobility despite the steps.

Holiday home with high-quality amenities.

The highlight of the holiday home is clearly the wellness area. This area leaves nothing to be desired, and the resulting additional costs are reasonable. With daily use, we had €56.00/week in additional costs. The other rooms were also well equipped and clean. This holiday home is highly recommended.

Great vacation home!

From the very nice landlord couple, cleanliness, equipment, leisure and dining options, location, quality of relaxation up to the wellness oasis - everything perfect! One must simply highlight the wellness oasis, which is very special and exclusive. The location of the house is also great as a starting point for all kinds of activities.
