Since my wife was in rehab, I spent 10 wonderful days on Föhr with our dog. We felt very comfortable in the vacation apartment "An de Marsch" in Midlum. The location of the apartment is perfect, located right by the marsh, and our morning walks always took us to the bakery in Alkersum. The apartment is very well equipped, with no wishes left unfulfilled. The service from "My Föhr Vacation" is excellent; I had to call the caretaker twice for minor issues that in no way affected the vacation. He came promptly, was very friendly, and was able to help me with great expertise. For this and overall for the great service, a heartfelt thank you; all the employees of "My Föhr Vacation" are fantastic. We will definitely come back, then as a group of three, and we will definitely book again through "My Föhr Vacation." Best regards and once again heartfelt thanks to the entire team.

The apartment is located at the edge of the marsh and is ideal for vacationers with dogs. The apartment itself is well furnished with furniture, but unfortunately, the night storage heater does not work and could not be properly repaired. In addition, reasonable dishes and cooking pots should be provided in the apartment. Regarding cleanliness, when taking a vacation with a dog, it should be possible to clean the apartment thoroughly. The existing broom probably had bristles many years ago. But overall a great vacation on Föhr.

We really liked the apartment, especially the terrace with a view of the greenery. Improvement suggestion: the terrace table is wobbly, not from the frame, but on top of the tabletop. A table with a solid surface would be great! And we were surprised upon arrival that this is a multi-family house. This was not apparent to us when booking. It was quiet for us since no one else was there. Therefore, it didn't bother us. It would be different if, for example, there was someone next door. If someone had been a smoker, it would have bothered us significantly.

The apartment is very nice in terms of location. We also enjoyed using the terrace, although the table, being rusted and unstable, could only be used to a limited extent. It was also not replaced within the 19 days we were there, even though it had already been ordered. A major drawback for us was that there was no storage space for food or personal items in the apartment (apart from the wardrobe, which also contained blankets, pillows, etc.). The cabinets were occupied with personal belongings of the previous owner, dog items, etc., who passed away three years ago. I don't think the son and current owner, who lives in the USA, will use these items again. Otherwise, the apartment is functional, albeit outdated.
