Description
The school of the municipality of Wendisch Priborn was built in 1937 and completely renovated and equipped to a high standard in 2010.
You can use a park-like garden with old trees on an area of approx. 12000 sqm, which offers unlimited possibilities for development, especially for children. Deer, hedgehogs and raccoons have already been sighted in the garden.
There is approx. 200 m² of living space on the ground floor and upper floor at your disposal
During the renovation, great importance was attached to preserving the original character of the house and to using ecologically safe building materials. The house is therefore ideally suited for allergy sufferers.

Location and surroundings of object
The house stands at the beginning of the village, surrounded by nice neighbors who breed ducks and rabbits. Next door is the village cemetery. Wendish-Priborn is a small village with about 500 inhabitants on the southern end of Lake Plau, about 15 km from the city "Plau". The nearest swimming area is about 10 minutes away by car. The village has an inn. Especially for families offer a broad range excursions, such as the "Bear Müritz" in Stuer, the monkey forest in Malchow, or Elefantenhof in Platschow. The "horse Zislow" is about 10 minutes away by car.

Great short vacation
We were 4 adults and 6 children. We all had a great time. The children enjoyed the huge garden with a soccer field, trampoline, and swing, while we adults appreciated sitting around the fireplace in the evening and the tranquility. The house is really beautiful and offers everything we need for a relaxing vacation. The surroundings are fantastic and offer plenty of relaxation and activities. We would love to come back.

an authentic feel-good place in the countryside
we were two and also ten, young and old together in a house with character and a very individual equipment. The Sternenplatz on the railway embankment, the volleyball court, the indoor football table and the large terrace under old walnut trees were often visited. The Alte Schule offers equipment for any kind of weather, for non-sporty and unfamiliar people the way to Plauer See is a little adventure - by car it's too easy. The cycling routes in the area are diverse and easily accessible with wide tires. A place to relax and unwind! Many thanks to the always approachable hosts!!

Here you can be together well
The Old School is lovingly decorated with a few antiques from the 70s for the guests and everyone finds something to their taste in the record collection.
Especially the sturdy foosball table has brought everyone together again and again, not only to the delight of our youngest.
To start the new year clean, Sönke supported us with the idea to build a sweat lodge in the garden. So for the time being, the aluminium poles for the solar system were used for direct heat storage in a tent. The infusion on the sauna stones we had brought with us, which we heated up in the fire bowl, made us sweat well. The only thing missing was the immersion pool. But we all came into the new year clean. Perhaps the heating costs could have frightened us, but as it was mild, they were kept at the level of the prepaid deposit, which the hosts had had the foresight to prepare us for.

Relaxing weekend with family & friends
If you want to unwind for a few days, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Wendisch Priborn is the place to be.
Stylish furnishings, good equipment, fireplace and a beautiful garden that offers plenty of space as well as nature.
We'll be happy to come back again and again.

Large accommodation with restrictions
We were a group of 5 people looking for a standalone accommodation for a stay.
We were satisfied with the accommodation itself. We were informed in advance how to access the property since no one was on-site. The accommodation offers quite a bit of space, and the necessary equipment is available. Bedding and towels had to be brought along, which was clear beforehand. We were not aware, however, that all the services offered and included were not really available. The heating did not work during our stay. Even after reporting this issue, it could not be fixed. Additionally, the internet connection that was listed at the time of renting was not available. It was only provided upon request on the evening before our departure. Since there is already a very weak network coverage in the area, we felt quite isolated.
We were most disappointed that, despite inquiries, there was no willingness to compromise and the implied but nonexistent amenities were not compensated in any way. Communication from the landlords was completely cut off.
Conclusion: The accommodation is fine in itself, although the listed amenities should not be taken at face value. The communication afterwards was very disappointing. Therefore, from us only a mediocre rating.
