In the former fishing village of Balm, our holiday home Achterdeck is situated on a beautiful idyllic garden plot surrounded by trees, shrubs and flowering plants. The property is only separated from the Achterwasser by a road with little traffic.
There you can swim at various beaches.
The house is located at the back of the property, it can accommodate up to 4 people.
There are 2 bedrooms, a living room with open kitchen and fireplace, dining area, 2 showers/WC, a terrace with barbecue and garden furniture, a balcony with a beautiful view of the Achterwasser.
You can already enjoy breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun.
A parking space is available on the property free of charge.
The imperial resorts of Bansin, Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf can be reached by car in about 10 minutes.
It takes about 20 minutes to reach Swinemünde in Poland.
If you prefer cycling, you can explore the island on a well-developed cycling network.

The lake Balmer See, the Achterwasser, is located about 50m from our property.
There you have the possibility to swim at the jetty or at other bathing spots or to swim in the lake.
Away from mass tourism, you can enjoy a relaxed and peaceful holiday.
You can watch white-tailed eagles, wild geese or wild ducks in the midst of beautiful nature or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

Great accommodation in a wonderful location
We spent a few wonderful days in this beautifully located holiday home. The area is very quiet, and the house is situated directly by the Achterwasser. From there, you can start nice excursions to the seaside resorts or other destinations. The landlords are very nice and accommodating. The house is well equipped, and you can feel very comfortable there. The price/performance ratio is definitely right. We would love to come back.

Very beautiful little house.
Many thanks to the Zwanzig family for the lovely time in Balm! We lacked for nothing. We were thrilled with the pretty cottage in the blooming garden and the nice care. We would love to come back and can recommend it 100%.

Very nice holiday home, everything inside and outside designed with love. Super quiet location, perfect to get away from the stressful everyday life. Great starting point for cycling tours.
Lovely, super nice funny landlords, are on site and take care of problems and concerns immediately.
We stayed here for 14 days and have booked 3 weeks for next year.
Thank you for this great romantic accommodation.

Super location, beautiful house, cosy garden with many details everything very appealing
Balm is quiet and not as crowded as the big seaside resorts such as Bansin, Ahlbeck... We really liked it and it was good for us. We had a wonderful holiday, were able to relax and recharge our batteries.
We liked the rustic, cosy property with many small and large eye-catchers very much. The Zwanzig family are friendly, pleasant landlords who go to a lot of trouble and make sure that the holidaymakers feel at home
The house has everything you need, it is neat, clean and lovingly furnished. It is located at the end of the property, so it is very quiet and idyllic
We liked it so much that we have booked our holiday for 2022 again with the Zwanzig family
We are looking forward to discovering new things.
