From the living room window of your holiday flat, guests can experience the dream ships up close, go cycling, fishing or for a walk. The wonderfully quiet location offers pure rest and relaxation. A few steps and you are directly at the canal. No car traffic disturbs this holiday idyll. Here in your holiday flat you sit in the first row directly on the Kiel Canal. Far away from the stress of everyday life.
Facilities:
Ground-level 55 m² holiday flat for 2 adults, possibly 1 adult and 1-2 children (sofa bed)
The half of the house with garden and barbecue corner is at the guests' disposal alone. The garden is fenced off from the neighbour.
Equipment:
Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, 4 e cooker with oven, fridge-freezer -
( refrigerator compartment approx. 25-30 litres)
(use of a freezer in the main house of the landlord is offered).
Coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc..
Cosy dining area with dining table in the kitchen.
Living room with pull-out couch, armchair, SAT-TV, stereo with CD player.
Large bedroom with double bed, mirrored chest of drawers, bedside tables and wardrobe. Guest bed available on request.
Ground floor newly renovated shower/WC, washing machine
Screened terrace with barbecue, garden furniture and 2 sun loungers, hanging umbrella.
All year habitable with central heating. Floors in living room and bedroom dark laminate. Kitchen, bathroom and hallway tiled.
Pets allowed up to 2. Ideal area to walk or cycle with the dogs - directly from the house without car traffic.

Location and surroundings of object

Your holiday home is located in Schafstedt, in the Dückerswisch district - directly on the Kiel Canal. Schafstedt itself is about 3 km away, here you will find a bakery, a small shop and a nice café - the Kerzenhofcafe. The beaches of the North Sea are about 20 km away in Meldorfer Bucht. Meldorf itself is an idyllic small town with a Hiestorian town centre, a venerable cathedral, restaurants, cafés and all the shopping facilities.
Have a coffee in peace and quiet while watching the big boats sail along the Kiel Canal.

Holiday

It was a nice little house. Everything was present. But when we came in, there was a terrible smell of smoke. Probably because the previous residents smoked a lot. That was not nice. Left a day earlier because the smell of smoke caused us headaches. Too bad.

Great in any weather

Even though the establishment is somewhat outdated/unremarkable, we are happy to come here and surely for a third and fourth time . . . . The hosts are warm, the chicken eggs are super delicious, the own garden and the huge window front in the living room, both with a great view directly onto the NOK, are priceless. Our dog is welcome here, and you can go for a walk directly along the canal or go on bike tours from the vacation apartment. Another highlight is the hotel/restaurant "Kanal33," located just 900 m away. Here, there is great food, homemade cakes, and a huge beer garden with a direct view of the ferry and the canal. We feel completely comfortable here.

Admiring ships

We spent 3 weeks in the vacation apartment and fully enjoyed the absolute peace and the dreamlike view of the North-East Sea Canal.

Apartment in prime location

We have been three times now in this holiday apartment right on the Kiel Canal and can only recommend it. The location is simply unbeatable. Huge freight and container ships pass by the house in minute intervals, even a Hurtigruten ship has been among them. The garden is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. You don't often find so many birds chirping all day long. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a basket of fresh chicken eggs and it was almost like coming home. We will definitely come back and look forward to the Denzer family.

cozy holiday home

we found everything we needed, fully equipped household. A great view from the garden of the big ships. We really liked it, we can definitely recommend it. Even our old dog felt visibly comfortable.

Super view of the NOK

Unique and a super beautiful view of the NOK. A simply furnished, clean holiday flat directly on the NOK. If you love nature and tranquillity, you are in good hands. The landlords are very friendly, nice and helpful.
