The location was ideal for our sightseeing trips! We explored the Palace of Poitiers and dined in local restaurants. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Incredible location! Just a few minutes' drive from the Palace of Poitiers and the delightful local restaurants, the garden was a lovely place to relax after exploring.

We loved our stay in this charming vacation home! The kitchen was well-equipped and we prepared some delicious meals. The fireplace added a cozy atmosphere, especially when it was cold. The location is super quiet and just what we needed to relax. It is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

This vacation home is a hidden gem! The peaceful village atmosphere made our stay incredibly relaxing. We enjoyed the convenience of the kitchen and the beautiful outdoor space, perfect for unwinding away from the hustle and bustle.

What a wonderful holiday we had in this beautiful house! The cozy interior, the art and culture books, the basket with CDs, the nice bed, and everything for a pleasant stay was there. And then that beautiful enclosed garden with several seats, the great view, the peace. It started with a very friendly warm welcome by the sweet Mrs. A. and the nice bottle of wine from the winery in the area. My husband and I have enjoyed two weeks, together with our Labrador, nothing but. In the area the many sunflower fields, beautiful villages, castles and fantastic views over the hilly landscape. The only disadvantage we can think of is that we now miss this wonderful place! ;-) We would love to come back!

And then that beautiful enclosed garden with several seats, the great view, the peace. After a wonderful week nearby the coast we arrived in Sossay. Although the house is lovely situated in an outside area of the small village the surrounding buildings are left behind or used as service buildings. The very wet season over the past few months has left some nasty things. After four days we left due to consistent awesome smell of moisture/mold and smoke of fireplaces nearby. We left to return to the beach area in Normandy and after coming home we washed every peace of clothing due to the smell of mold. The house itself is well furnished (basic) and the kitchen as well. The view is excellent.
We were sure that the house has been a fine place to stay but today it needs some investment to bring it back to a Belvilla expected level.

Even though the house is nicely situated in the outskirts of the small village, the surrounding buildings are abandoned or used as service buildings. The very wet season of the past few months has caused some unpleasant things. After four days, we left because of the persistent awful smell of dampness/mold and the smoke from nearby fireplaces. We returned to the beach area in Normandy and upon arriving home, we washed all our clothing due to the smell of mold. The house itself is adequately furnished (basic) and the kitchen as well. The view is excellent. We were confident that the house used to be a good place to stay, but now it requires some investment to bring it back to the expected Belvilla level.

Beautiful surroundings, lovely atmospheric house and a private garden where you can immediately relax completely. Supermarket about 7 minutes away. Swimming at 30 min. And 45 min in Chinon on a beautiful spot (definitely do it). We were there in the summer, hot at night but well you can recharge the rest of the day. Really highly recommended this house.

Arrival was good. After consultation it was no problem to arrive a day later at a time specified by us. Owner has outsourced handing over keys and tour to resident Puygareau, a few houses away. Accommodation looked exactly like the pictures. Bed is ready. Toilet seats and garden chairs have already been replaced, but need attention. Environment is very rural: between sunflower, corn and grain fields. Medieval houses; partly renovated and inhabited, partly uninhabited (uninhabitable) with in the background the remains of a castle (one of the many in this area) with walls or what is left of it everywhere. Enough forest, but to follow a route, forest is not close by (Châtellerault).

The house is super cozy and we and our puppy felt right at home. The view from the house and the garden is beautiful, grain and sunflower fields, a wide view of the hilly landscape, very quiet environment.

We have had a nice holiday in this accommodation in Sossay. It started with a friendly reception on arrival. The accommodation itself is nicely furnished and all the things you need are available. The garden is completely fenced so ideal for people with a dog or small child. In the immediate vicinity you can walk. Supermarkets about 15 minutes away by car. This residence is ideal for people who seek peace, a romantic stay for couples and people who like to bring their dog.

The cottage is quiet, very well renovated, has a comfortable bed, good bathroom and kitchen and full of charm. The setting is rustic rural and very inviting to relax. Nice little castles in the neighborhood. There is a reasonable distance, when Châtelleraut, swimming. Poitiers and Chat. to visit his pleasant places. The Loire and its castles are quite an hour away at least. Still highly recommended this FLO.014.
