The Cabana is tastefully decorated in different styles Mexican, Mediterranean and is located in the back part of the property. Thus it also offers enough space for privacy and is suitable for 2 to 4 persons.
Of course, this is equipped with a kitchen, which is ideal for self-catering: Cooker, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery.
In the small but nice bathroom there is a WC and a shower.
To end the evening comfortably, the small, idyllic terrace invites you to barbecue and linger. And in just a few steps you can also be at the lake.
We cordially invite you and look forward to your visit.
Of course, there is also a flat screen with cable TV and WLAN as well as radio.
The kitchen with all technical details also lets you enjoy cooking on holiday. From the living-dining area you can reach the terrace with a built-in hot tub.
This is cooling on summer days and warming on starry nights.
Directly from one bedroom you enter the second terrace, which invites you to barbecue and relax.
The bathroom with underfloor heating, shower and toilet completes the overall picture.

Cycling and hiking trails: there is an extensive network of cycling and hiking trails around the lake. The Havel Cycle Path or the R1 European Cycle Path lead along the course of the river. You can cycle from Potsdam to the Schwielowsee on the "F1" cycle path.
There are lidos with restaurants and playgrounds in Ferch and Caputh
Fishing for peaceful fish is permitted, but a fishing licence is required for predatory fish. The boats of the "Weiße Flotte Potsdam" (Potsdam White Fleet) leave from the landing stages at the Caputh Gemünde and the castle for trips on the Havel and Lake Schwielow. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the lake can be circumnavigated by culture bus line 607; the buses run every 2 hours from May to October on all weekends and public holidays from Potsdam via Caputh, Ferch, Petzow to Werder (Havel) and back.Lake Schwielow offers many recreational opportunities. The Havel lakes in Potsdam and Brandenburg are very popular as a sailing area. You can also take a leisurely motorboat ride across the lakes and enjoy the scenery. Passenger boats are available for day trips on the lakes. The harbour in Potsdam provides access to the lake region in Havelland. A tour of the Havel lakes is one of the beautiful nature experiences in the region
The flat Havel landscape is ideal for cycling tours. Among other things, guided cycling tours are offered around Lake Schwielow. With a fishing permit, you can fish for certain species of fish in Lake Schwielow. Predatory fish such as pike may only be fished with a fishing licence. Fishing permits are available in Caputh. Horse riding, golfing or climbing are among the popular sports activities in the holiday region

Very nice small holiday flat
A very beautifully furnished holiday flat, in Mexican style. A lot of things have really been imported from Mexico.
It has everything you would expect from a holiday home. But not recommended for the winter, as it is not well insulated and has stone tiles as a floor. During our visit it was only between 10 and 15 degrees outside. But as it was the end of April and the heating provided enough warmth, it was no problem.
Very quietly situated about 200 - 300 m from the Schwielowsee. There is a bus to Potsdam every hour or so. By car about 30 min. Very pleasant and uncomplicated host parents. If you want to spend the night in a different way, you are in good hands. There is a narrow staircase leading up to the bedroom. You can't stand in the bedroom, but it's very romantic for couples.
We would come again !!!!
The cabana is located at the back of the property. We live in the front part of the property with our daughter Frida (8 years old) + dog and are always available with help and advice.
