The spacious holiday home has a total of 5 to 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, a living room, a kitchen-diner, 2 bathrooms, a separate toilet and can easily accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. An enclosed wood-burning stove in the spacious living-dining area on the ground floor ensures a cosy atmosphere and the extendable dining table has space enough to sit up to 10 guests allowing you to enjoy a comfortable evening meal with your family and/or friends. In good weather you may choose to have your breakfast on the large and spacious terrace and enjoy the warmth of the morning sun. Five bedrooms are available to you with a total of 5 single beds and 3 double beds. The two kitchens are fully equipped with microwave ovens, toasters, coffee machines etc. The large separate kitchen on the ground floor also has a dishwasher. Both living rooms (the lower one is often used as a 6th bedroom) have satellite TVs and a DVD/video player is provided in the ground floor room. Books and games along with a variety of DVDs are suited to both adults and children alike.
The garden surrounds the house with plenty of room to play and grill - there is even a trampoline for the young and not-so-young!
It takes just ten minutes by car to Lake Constance, 30 minutes to the Upper Danube Valley Park, 60 minutes to the Allgäu, Austria, Switzerland or the Black Forest.

Location and surroundings of object
We are in the heart of nature, surrounded by forests, and away from major through roads. We have a large garden, and the house itself is fabricated using only healthy materials and paints - making it ideal for allergy sufferers.
For more information, please go to: ka3e[dot]de The community of Herdwangen-Schönach is located approx. 12 km from Lake Constance in the hills of the Upper Linzgau, which itself is some 600-700m above sea-level, between the cities of Pfullendorf in the north and Überlingen in the south. It is comprised of charming rural villages and an extensive, well maintained trail system invites you to wander through unspoiled landscape. The pedestrian streets and cycle paths around Herdwangen-Schönach give plenty of appetite for cyclists, through a variety of interesting and sometimes challenging tours.

| The Accommodation Contract is concluded as soon as the holiday home is booked and confirmed - or, if confirmation was not possible due to time constraints, has been allocated to you. Completion of this Accommodation Contract forms a written agreement between the tenant and landlord/agent that its conditions must be fulfilled irrespective of the contract’s duration. The booking is confirmed in writing, by email or telephone. |

Our cancellation policy is as follows. If you need to cancel your holiday we understand you will have good reasons but please tell us if possible as early as possible. It then gives us the possibility to find new guests for the period you booked and we will pay any monies paid to us back to you. If we are unable to fill the period you booked we reserve the right to charge you the whole amount. We advise therefore to take out a travel insurance to be on the safe side.

For many years we hosted social groups. Many groups were really good, they were very satisfied and came back regularly.
Unfortunately, more recently after some groups left, we had so much restoration and preparation work that we decided not to accept such groups anymore.
For 4 people the whole house costs €165.00 per night.
Each additional person pays only an additional €13.00 per night
We charge a one-time cleaning fee of €120.00
If you book fewer than 5 nights, we will charge a short booking fee of €50,00 Please note that we are very reluctant to rent the house for fewer than 5 nights during school holidays / high season. Few holiday home owners are willing to rent out their homes for a weekend or a few days. It is just too much work and blocks the week. We ask for your understanding.
A price example: a family of 10 people for 7 nights:
€165.00 for the first 4 persons and then +€13.00 x6
Sum: €243.00 per night x 7 nights = €1,781.00 + €120.00 for the cleaning.
The price is inclusive of all applicable taxes, the use of heating oil, water, electricity and wood for the Swedish oven (in winter).
