Description

The spacious holiday home has a total of 6 bedrooms, 2 functional kitchens, a living room, 3 bathrooms, 4 WCs and can easily accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. A wood-burning swedish oven in the spacious living area on the ground floor ensures a cosy atmosphere and the extendable dining table has space enough to sit up to 10 guests allowing you enjoy your meals in comfort with your family and/or friends. In good weather you may choose to have your lunch or evening meals served on the large and spacious balcony and enjoy the warmth of the afternoon sun. On cooler days, the naturally bright winter garden could be used as an alternative. 6 bedrooms are available to you with a total of 6 single beds, 1 bunk bed and 2 double beds. The main kitchen on the ground floor is fully equipped with induction hob, microwave oven, toasters, coffee machines, dishwasher and washing machine whereas the basement kitchen has a ceramic stove and basic utensils. A UHD satellite TV and DVD/BluRay Player is available in the main living room; another TV is provided in one of the basement bedrooms. Books and games along with a variety of DVDs are suited to both adults and children alike.

The garden surrounds the house with plenty of room to play and grill.

It takes just 20 minutes to drive by car to Lake Constance, 30 minutes to the Upper Danube Valley, 60 minutes to the Allgäu, Austria, Switzerland or the Black Forest.

Location and surroundings of object

We are surrounded by forests, and away from major through roads. We have a large garden, and the house itself is fabricated using only healthy materials and paints - making it ideal for allergy sufferers.

The community of Herdwangen-Schönach is located approx. 12 km from Lake Constance in the hills of the Upper Linzgau, which itself is some 600-700m above sea-level, between the cities of Pfullendorf in the north and Überlingen in the south. It is comprised of charming rural villages and an extensive, well maintained trail system invites you to wander through unspoiled landscape. The pedestrian streets and cycle paths around Herdwangen-Schönach give plenty of appetite for cyclists, through a variety of interesting and sometimes challenging tours.

The Linzgau Seepark, a popular excursion destination for the whole family, is located at the western entrance of Pfullendorf. Highlights are the water ski facility, the diving centre, Germany's craziest adventure and football golf courses and the water adventure world for children. On hot days, not only the lido in the Seepark invites you to cool off, but also the forest outdoor pool (only 5 minutes from the bus stop) with diving tower and water climbing, toddler pool, playground and much more.

For many years we hosted social groups. Many groups were really good, they were very satisfied and came back regularly.
Unfortunately, more recently after some groups left, we had so much restoration and preparation work that we decided not to accept such groups anymore.
