Pure South of France

We wanted to spend a holiday in the south and were not disappointed by the house. It is a picture-perfect house in the south of France. It is comfortably furnished and in a quiet location, with very good facilities. The Ardeche is also a varied area. The many information, such as the excursion tips and the market dates, which Fam. Gering provide, were very helpful. For example, we enjoyed swimming in Jaujac and the view from Mirabel.

All-around beautiful!

Our stay as a family at Mas Brio was beautiful. The house exudes history, the garden is spacious, and thanks to the outdoor shower, there was always the opportunity to refresh oneself in summer temperatures. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. And the hosts were always available and had great tips for the area. Thank you for the wonderful time, gladly again!

Ardèche - the wild sister of Provence

We had a fantastic three-week vacation in one of the most beautiful areas of France. It's not necessarily easy to find something nice and suitable with children. How happy we were with this wonderful house. Lovingly furnished and stylishly restored - the charm of the past combined with all the comforts of modernity. The kitchen is equipped for preparing all meals, even for making jam or juicing. There is hardly a kitchen appliance that doesn't exist. The bathroom is wonderful, even with a bathtub and rain shower! The upper terrace - where we enjoyed all our meals - is a dream. The garden is wild and full of fruit trees - here you can unwind.
The city center of Aubena is only a few minutes away, for shopping or excursions you have to drive a bit, but that is probably the case everywhere in the region. But each drive is an experience in itself, passing along wild mountain rivers, past spectacular mountain walls or through small French villages (for excursions, not for shopping).
I know it sounds like a brochure, but it is actually true that I still get so excited when I think about our vacation!

beautiful holiday week

We had a lovely week in this house. We really enjoyed the evenings on the terrace. We could have done without the mosquitoes in the morning and evening, but we found the scorpion exciting and the mother cat with her two babies provided entertainment.

Shopping facilities are quickly accessible from the accommodation, even by bike (although the return journey is a bit more difficult).

The equipment left nothing to be desired.

The communication with the landlords was very positive. Thank you also for the additional tips for activities. There is indeed a lot to explore in Aubenas and the surrounding area.

The garden area could be made more child-friendly, at least if you have a son who likes to play football…By the way, there is a football field nearby where we then went.

In conclusion: we had a great week in the house, enjoyed our vacation, and would love to come back.

Südfrankreich pur

Wir (4-köpfige Familie) hatten eine wunderbare Woche im sehr geräumigen und geschmackvollen "Mas Brio". Im Haus mangelt es an nichts, schon gar nicht an Platz. Man kann sich für jede Tageszeit einen neuen Lieblingsplatz im Haus, auf den Terrassen und im Garten suchen. Die Vermieter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Städtchen Aubenas ist lebendig und sehenswert und in der Region bieten sich Ausflugsziele für mehrere Wochen an. Wer gerne wandert - nicht unbedingt im Sommer - ist hier richtig. Dieses Haus können wir absolut weiterempfehlen.

In this relaxing and peaceful region of the Ardéche

we spent two sunny holiday weeks in the beautiful holiday home of the Gering family.
In addition to hikes, visits to the surrounding charming little towns - mostly at their market times - we enjoyed the warm summer days at various bathing places. Here, the extensive tips summarised in a helft were very helpful
Our Hovawart dog also felt very comfortable here and made friends with the three neighbouring dogs.
All in all: very relaxing and we like to think back to the beautiful days.

Haus im Grünen

Sehr ruhig, schön eingerichtet, es mangelt an nichts. Großer, nicht einsehbarer Garten. Gartendusche . Neues Bad/WC , Zugang nicht direkt aus dem Haus, sondern über die Terrasse.

schönes haus mit großem Außenbereich

Altes Natursteinhaus, zeitgemäß mordernisiert mit sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche, sodass man die Köstlichkeiten der regionalen Händler auch verarbeiten kann. Der Garten ist schön bewachsen, groß, in Terrassen angelegt. Alle Nötige ist auch hier vorhanden. Punktabzug von uns, weil das WC/Bad nicht ins Haus integriert und nur über die Terrasse erreichbar ist; die Anfahrt zum Haus aus dem Ort ist kniffelig.

Urlaub zum Zeit vergessen

Ein Haus, bei dem es einem an nichts fehlt! Wir haben die Zeit auf der Terrasse und im wundervollen Garten sehr genossen und kommen sehr gerne und ganz bestimmt wieder!

Wir haben uns erholt

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in diesem Häuschen verbracht. Es war genügend Platz für eine Familie mit fünf Kindern. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und fürsorglich. Eine sehr ruhige Lage zum Entspannen und laut sein.

Der Inflationäre Umgang mit sehr guter Noten (d.h. besser geht nicht) und pauschalierten Urteilen nimmt gelegentlich zu, daher mein Bemühen um eine differenzierte Bewertung.
Wir haben ein sehr gepfegtes und sehr schön gelegenes Domizil vorgefunden, das in Sachen Ausstattung kaum etwas zu wünschen übrig lässt. Liebevolle restaurierte Räumlichkeiten mit Liebe zum Detail. Eine sehr gelungene Aufteilung mit einer zentral gelegenen Küche, die den Namen verdient und nicht wie häufig angetroffen ein schlecht sortiertes und unvollständiges potpouri an ausgedienten Sachen.
Das große Grundstück bietet Platz und Ruhe, man findet über den Tagesverlauf immer einen idealen Platz zum Sonnenanbeten, Lesen oder geselligen Beisammensein. Die Terasse direkt vor der Küche ist zum Frühstücken, wie dem abendlichen Ausklang bei einem Glas Rotwein gleichermassen einladend und gemütlich.
Einen kleinen Punktabzug gäbe es höchstens beim Bad, hier könnte es möglicherweise moderner aussehen. Uns hat das aber nicht wirklich gestört, da alles einwandfrei funktioniert hat.
Die Umgebung von Aubenas hat landschaftlich natürlich alles zu bieten. Wir waren leider nur eine Woche da, Programm gibt es sicher auch für länger.
Nach mittlerweile sehr vielen Aufenthalten im Süden über einen Zeitraum von mehr als 20 Jahren mit in den unterschiedlichsten Häusern mit entsprechenden Erfahrungen zählt das Haus in Aubenas uneingeschränkt zu unseren Favoriten. Wer Südrankreich mag, liegt hier richtig.

Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen in Südfrankreich ...

Wir sind nun schon zum wiederholten Male in dem schönen Ferienhaus der Familie Gering und sind immer wieder begeistert von dem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus, der weinumrankten Terasse und dem großen Obstgarten. Gut gefällt uns auch die Nähe zur Stadt Aubenas mit ihren kleinen Geschäften und den pittoresken Lokalen.

Wir sind sicher nicht das letzte Mal dagewesen!

Wunderschönes Haus und bezaubernde Gegend

Wir waren im Winter im Haus und trotz winterlicher Temperaturen haben
wir den Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und bieten allen Komfort. Die Vermieterin ist immer erreichbar und hilft bei allen Fragen und hat uns rolle Tipps gegeben. Die Gegend ist wenig touristisch, was fuer uns sehr reizvoll war. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Dream holiday at "Mas Brio
