Great holiday apartment

A very beautiful and large vacation apartment. Well suited for children. A very attentive and nice landlady. Many excursion destinations are not far away by car.

Exceptional and highly recommended!!

Everything was wonderful and we felt very comfortable, always supported by the very nice host. The holiday apartment is very spacious, bright, and well-equipped - we lacked nothing, and all the technical devices are top-notch. Everything is available, and there are many things in the apartment that are not usually part of the standard equipment in other houses. Furniture and furnishings (with plenty of storage) made from ecological materials (we particularly liked the mattresses and the comforters!!), and much more.
We were four and had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all well-equipped including a washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed - there is even a coffee machine for fresh coffee beans. The large terrace to the south with an electric awning and a wonderful view of the nature and vegetable garden is also very beautiful. Very good location in a quiet residential area with its own carport for the car. Bayreuth is easily and quickly reachable by car, and it is also possible by bus. Upon our departure, the landlord also gave us rose cuttings and fresh onions from the garden - thank you again for everything, and we would be happy to come back.

Family vacation in Franconian Switzerland

We, as a family of five with three small children, spent five nights in the cozy and spacious vacation apartment of the Schwatlo family. We were warmly welcomed and also bid farewell by the friendly hostess. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the house, very quietly in a cul-de-sac of a new housing area on the outskirts of Mistelgau and is an ideal starting point for excursions to the numerous destinations in the Franconian Switzerland (about 30 min. ) or to Bayreuth (15min.) The apartment is characterized by spacious and light-filled rooms. Continuous wooden floors and natural wooden furniture give the rooms a natural charm. Two modern and clean bathrooms with shower and toilet, as well as a washing machine, were important for us as a family with children. Shared meals can be taken with short distances from the kitchen either in the large living and dining area or, if the weather permits, on the terrace, which is also equipped with a sunshade and offers a view of the beautifully designed garden of Mrs. Schwatlo. The apartment hallway is wide and provides enough space so that even with 5 people, one never gets in the way when setting off for excursions or returning. The two bedrooms can be completely darkened with external shutters, and the larger of the two even has access to the balcony. We had a nice stay and can absolutely recommend the apartment!

Super beautiful apartment

A very, very nice apartment. The reception from the landlady was simply warm and friendly. One felt immediately welcome and at home. We will definitely inquire about the availability of the apartment for our next stay in Franconia and then book directly.
A cycling and hiking trail passes near the apartment. By car, you can reach Bayreuth in no time. There are many attractions here, so it's worth planning a day for it. Fichtelsee is about 40 minutes away.

We had a great time in the vacation rental of the Schwatlo family. Everything worked perfectly and there was nothing to complain about. The vacation rental and the hosts are top-notch. We felt very comfortable, nothing was missing. Thanks to the landlords, who create a comfortable environment in the apartment and the entire surroundings.

A very nice vacation in a beautiful setting.

We were four people in the vacation apartment, which was optimally and lovingly equipped. The location was very good in immediate proximity to Bayreuth. We really liked the view of the very well-kept garden. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. They gave us many good tips that made our stay much easier. We would definitely recommend the apartment and are already planning the next visit.

Nice stay

We had a nice vacation in Mistelgau with our little daughter at the Schwatlo family. The vacation apartment is very well equipped. The view from the balcony into the beautiful garden is great. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area, which didn't bother us. Mr. and Mrs. Schwatlo are very kind landlords. All excursion destinations are easily accessible. Excellent vacation rental

There is no microwave in the kitchen and the perlator in one bathroom is impractical. In the other bathroom, a larger faucet could be advantageous.

Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality.

We lacked nothing in your holiday apartment. You have simply considered every detail, and everything was there for our little daughter (1.5 years old), such as a changing table, baby bed, and high chair.

We were able to explore everything very well from the apartment by bike, as the cycling network is simply fantastic and leads through the beautiful Franconian countryside.

Unfortunately, our vacation went by much too quickly, so we will be coming back soon.

Cosy flat in country house style

The Schwatlo couple gave us a very warm welcome, so that we immediately felt very comfortable. The flat is very spacious, clean and comfortably furnished,
it is also very well equipped, so we wanted for nothing. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace with a view of the garden.

The Franconian Switzerland is easy to explore by car from Mistelgau. We went hiking around the Oswald and Sophienhöhe and visited Bayreuth and Bamberg. Very, very beautiful and highly recommended.

A perfect holiday

Five of us (50-84 years) enjoyed a week's holiday in Franconian Switzerland.
The holiday flat is a dream, large, spacious, very bright and perfectly equipped. We didn't want for anything.
Our landlords are very friendly, nice and accommodating. The perfect little things were the dot on the i.
The excursion and hiking possibilities seem inexhaustible, we also went archery as there are various courses in the area.
We can only highly recommend the flat - pure relaxation.

Even if the review comes a little late....we were very happy to have found your holiday flat. The pictures in your description were still understated and you two proved your hospitality to us many times with small attentions or tips or a little chat on the spot again and again. That is also the reason why we have already booked for next year during our holiday. There is no better proof and praise for you. The flat is very well laid out, furnished to a high standard and very cosy and the large furnished terrace is inviting at any time of the day. Our three children (4+7+12) also felt very comfortable in their own room with a large balcony!
The nearby playground or the quiet cul-de-sac were also gladly used by them to play.

Very nice apartment

We were guests for three weeks. Very friendly landlord. View of the very beautiful garden. Super location to Bayreuth. Doctor in town, REWE supermarket, a simple Greek restaurant. The apartment is very spacious for 2 persons and equipped with WLAN. The size and layout is also ideal for a family with 2 children + 1 toddler in the master bedroom. Parking with loading/unloading possibility directly in front of the door. Brand equipment, but cosy. Quiet location. Hiking, small and large excursions possible, adventure pool nearby. If we were to visit Bayreuth/ the surrounding area again, we would gladly stay at Schwatlos again!

Highly recommended, perfect for families.

We really felt very comfortable in the apartment! It is perfectly suited for two families with kids. We were there with 8 people and everything just fit. There is enough space for everyone, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the apartment is suitable for small children. In the evenings, you can gather together, and no one gets disturbed; the balcony is also lovely. There is enough space for everyone together and also plenty of opportunities to retreat. The location is ideal for several great excursions (promenade path, Sophien Cave, Bayreuth, Pottenstein swimming pool and adventure mile, etc.) The hosts are very warm-hearted; we could simply enjoy our vacation in peace, but had an immediate contact person for any questions, and our children were warmly welcomed. We thank the hosts for the lovely stay, the clean and well-equipped apartment, and the delicious treats.
