Description
Holiday home with unique outdoor area in the garden with lounge set. PRIVATE PLACE WITH Surrounding garden and good workplace with large dining table. The house is situated on a small private park in Egmond aan den Hoef. Good free wifi. Free parking in front (place for two cars)
Beds are made. For each guest there is a towel package available at no additional cost.
Layout: gaderobehoek, living room with sliding glass doors and garden view. Fireplace with logs for our guests. Separate dining area overlooking garden with unique outdoor area including lounge set and TV! Lovely place for children but also during cold evenings to stay. In the evening the garden lights up.
Kitchen with complete inventory and dishwasher (dishwasher tablets provided) also a refrigerator, separate freezer, microwave, senseo, washer and dryer. New bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Downstairs is the first bedroom with a 1 bed (90 x 200) with electrically adjustable bottom (on request there is a camp bed and high chair available)
The stairs leads you to the first floor with vide. There you will find the 2nd room with a 2 person box spring (1.40 x 200), on the other side of the void is the 3rd bedroom with 2 x 1 bed (90 x 200) also both with electrically adjustable bottom.
In the garden is a barn where your bikes dry and safe. Two ladies bikes with gears for € 20 per bike per stay. Use of the barbecue in the garden is allowed.
At the sliding door is a terrace (with sunshade) and table with adjustable chairs. In the garden are also two sunbeds (including pillows). There is a pond and lawn in the garden and a unique outdoor area with a sliding door. The outdoor area has a lounge set and TV. Here you can on cool days or winter evening sit (heather available)
Free use of wifi. Smart TV in the living room with many channels and Netflix. Tv in the residence has a chromecast so you can stream from your smartphone or tablet on the TV.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is situated on a small private park at three km from the beach and sea. Near the most beautiful dune area in the Netherlands, where you can walk and cycle. In the house there is an information folder with everything there is to do in the area. In this nature you will find the Scottish Highlander and Konik horses in the wild. The house is 5 km from the city of Alkmaar and 40 minutes from Amsterdam. You can park for free at the house.

Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 30 days before the arrival date.
The Charming House Egmond is rented out for a minimum of 3 nights per period. Check-in days are almost any day of the week by arrangement. The rental price is for up to 5 people. Beds are made. A towel package is available for each person (1 large, 2 small towels, and 1 washcloth). The rental prices do not include mandatory additional costs. The mandatory additional costs are: - Mandatory final cleaning costs (€70,-) - We require a security deposit of €150.00 for the holiday home. After you leave the house and upon our inspection, we will refund the deposit to your account within 3 working days if everything is in order. No further additional costs. Calculation: The aforementioned additional costs will be charged to you after booking/reservation in response to your booking. Please note when booking/reserving that these costs will be added to your booking/reservation. We would like to receive your address details after booking/reservation. A request for reservation of the holiday homes is made by sending a message via this site. We confirm your reservation within 48 hours by email. After this, you will receive an invoice from us. We ask you to transfer 25% of the total rental sum to us within 14 days of the invoice date. The remaining 75% must be paid 2 months before the arrival date. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you do not adhere to the specified payment terms. In case of cancellation by us, any payments made will be refunded. If the arrival date is less than 2 months away at booking, the full amount must be paid within 14 days. It is NOT allowed to charge your electric car using a cable/extension cord through our house's electricity network, due to fire hazard and the high costs associated with charging.

The kitchen has a Senseo coffee machine, pads available. You can use the washing machine and dryer for FREE. A dog in consultation allowed if own dog basket (dog is not allowed on the beds and sofa in living room)

Very beautiful house in a perfect location!
The house itself is really beautifully furnished, lovingly equipped with many nice details, and it has every comfort one could wish for! The contact with the landlords Bart and Els was very nice... they gave us many tips regarding good restaurants, events, etc.... really great! Also, the location of the holiday home is almost perfect! It is a 5-minute drive to the center of Egmond aan Zee and to the beach... The dunes of Egmond aan de Hoef are within walking distance. . . we really enjoyed the vacation in this house!

A beautiful time
A beautiful house, perfectly located and furnished with so much heart.
We were welcomed very, very kindly by the family and received great tips regarding restaurants and long walks in the dunes.

Super great holiday home & very nice landlords
We were personally and warmly welcomed by the landlords. The house is well-equipped; we missed nothing. We traveled with four people and a dog. It was a lovely two weeks in Egmond aan de Hoef.
We can only recommend this holiday home. We would love to come back.

We had a great week.
We (three sisters including a son, plus a dog) felt very comfortable in the holiday home. The surroundings were quiet and we could relax. When the weather allowed, we could have breakfast outside and play board games. Otherwise, we moved everything inside, as there is also enough space and it is cozy. Initially, we had problems with the Wi-Fi, but Bart & Els came by immediately and did not stop testing until it worked perfectly. The two are very nice and made us feel very welcome.

Charming little house
We enjoyed a week of relaxing vacation here. The beach is reachable by bike in ten minutes, and the two available bicycles were very convenient for us. Small tours through the dunes are also absolutely recommended. Destinations in the area (Alkmaar, Amsterdam...) are easily doable as day trips. The house itself is practical but still cozy and lovingly furnished - everything is perfectly thought out down to the last detail (everyone has their individual towel package, the decoration is very pretty, partly handmade). The room layout was perfect for us with three children (each room with: 1x double bed, 2 single beds, one single bed). The residential area is very quiet, Egmont aan de Hoef rather sleepy, but with all necessary infrastructure, Egmont aan Zee a typical seaside resort.

We are Bart and Els Bouwland. Since 1987 the house has been owned by Bart, the year the house was built. For 30 years Bart has lived here with great pleasure. Since 2017 we have been living in Zwaag as a blended family. The house in Egmond has been rigorously renovated on both the outside and the inside. This is how we created the nicest house in Egmond. The house is situated only 3 km from the beach of Egmond aan Zee and at the edge of the dunes. In a lovely quiet area with an enclosed garden, the house offers a lot of privacy. A place to enjoy the most beautiful dune area of the Netherlands!
