It is this special combination of sea, forest, tranquility and child-friendliness that makes this holiday home so unique. The house is located on the beautiful "Buitenplaats Schouwen". Within walking distance of the beautiful beach and surrounded by apple trees of the former orchard, you can enjoy the birds, nature and the crackling fireplace.
You can rent bicycles from the park manager and in Burgh-Haamstede there is a real castle to see and you can hover over the famous lighthouse, which you may still recognize from the 250 guilder banknote. The Delta Park Neeltje Jans can be reached by bike and is worth a visit with an exhibition about the Delta Works and many marine animals (like sea lions and sharks).
On the beautiful, quiet, extensive and wide beach and in the very varied forest and dune area you can go hiking, cycling, mountain biking and horseback riding. The challenging climbing forest in the forest area is an absolute highlight for young and old.
The cosy living room offers space for 5 people. You don't have to do without modern comforts, as the house is equipped with WIFI internet and cable TV.
The open kitchen is fully equipped, for example with a dishwasher and an oven. At the dining table you can enjoy delicious dinners with your friends, family or family.
From the living room you enter the terrace through the patio doors and walk into the large garden.
The terrace is equipped with garden furniture and has a cozy outdoor fireplace. The terrace faces southwest, so you can enjoy the sun for a long time.
On the 1st floor there are five sleeping places, divided into 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed for 3 people.
In the car-free park 'Buitenplaats Schouwen' you have your own parking space and can use the tennis court, swimming pools, football and volleyball field, jeu de boules court and playgrounds, all safely located in the park.
In short, a wonderful place to enjoy your holiday.
