De Karnemelkplaats and at our small camping with 3 pitches we have, Zoute Bries, a guest cottage for 2 persons.
Zoute Bries is very comfortably furnished and has a pellet wood tile.
There is a small kitchen with cooking facilities and a fridge and also bed linen for the beds.
Zoute Bries has a toilet, satellite TV and free W-lan on your laptop!
You can take a shower at the sanitary of the camping.
The farm De Karnemelkplaats is situated between Callantsoog and Groote Keeten and 900 meters walking distance from the beach and the North Sea.

Location and surroundings of object
2 km from Callantsoog and Groote Keeten, opposite the beach and in the middle of nature and flower fields ! Callantsoog is a former fishing village and is one of the few seaside resorts in the province of North Holland that lies directly on the sea.
The village centre exudes atmosphere with its shops, restaurants and cafes with 'sociable' terraces. For the sporty there are numerous possibilities: Swimming, fishing, horse riding, tennis, squash, cycling and hiking.
In the immediate vicinity of the village, a large part of the dunes belongs to the 'Zwanenwater' nature reserve. This nature reserve, consisting of dunes, marshes, lakes and forest, covers an area of approx. 550 ha and is home to a colony of spoonbills together with herons, silvery gulls and petrels.
The dune belt in the centre, on the other hand, is narrow and you are on the beach in no time. The beach stretches for kilometres in both directions. At the end of Callantsoog, the beautiful Zijpen polder landscape begins, with typical North Holland farms, windmills and the most beautiful fishing spots.
The harbour town of Den Helder is about 15 km away - there you will find the famous Marine Museum.
From the historic town of Alkmaar, with its beautiful shops and the famous cheese market, you can reach the centre of Amsterdam by train in about 40 minutes.

Nature and holidays
The wooden cottage Zoute Bries is located on a wonderful spot. Surrounded by flower fields, meadows and the nature reserve, which is home to many different water birds.
The interior is functional, clean and very lovingly decorated. We didn't miss anything and felt very comfortable there.
The deserted beach was only a 10-minute walk past the flower fields and the paths to Groote Keeten and Callantsoog could also be managed as a walk.
The landlords are very nice and helpful, and have designed their mini-campsite, the cottages and the holiday home with a lot of imagination and dedication.
They put love into it.
My husband, I and our dog spent a wonderful week there and will gladly come back.

Pure relaxation
My husband and I had a wonderful week in the Zoute Bries with our dog. The cottage is so cosy and lovingly furnished that you felt right at home. Everything was also very tidy and clean. We were lucky with the weather, lots of sun, so we could often go to the beach and enjoy the sea, the dunes and everything around it when the wind was strong. The mini campsite is in a fantastic location, so idyllic in nature, just brilliant. We and our dog really enjoyed the walks. The town of Callantsoog can be reached quickly and easily on foot. There you can stroll around and, above all, eat very well. The beach is so close, only 5-10 minutes walk. We enjoyed every day and will definitely holiday there again. The owners are very nice and helpful. Everything was just right. Thank you so much for a great time!

Simply cozy
I can only recommend this small, but very quaint and cozy accommodation. Here you can find peace and let your soul dangle. The best thing we found was that this little house was built right in the middle of a nature reserve. Here you can see animals that you don't see where we live. The shopping options and the beach are also not far away. Ideal for hiking and biking. If we stay healthy, it will be our next summer abode.

Kurzurlaub
Just got back and already missing the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of Zoute Bries. Everything you need is there, except for a broom to sweep the sand away and a mirror. The cottage is furnished with a lot of love. The location is great. In 5 minutes, you are at the beach and in 20 minutes on foot (with a dog) in Callantsoog. By car, it is 25 minutes to Schagen and Alkmaar. The owners - Winfried and his wife - are super nice. We will definitely go there again ;O)

This accommodation is the ideal place to relax. The cottage is clean and equipped with love, nothing is missing. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, and so did our dog.

TOP-A JEWEL.
The surroundings are a dream...
A field of flowers and the dunes
separate you from the sea.
It's not even a 5-minute walk - TOP!
The beach is wonderfully endlessly long and the sand is butter-soft. You can walk meters into the water and it still only reaches your belly.
Only after walking several meters and swimming out for a while does it get deep.
The cottage is located slightly outside of town.
But in 5 minutes by bike, you are right in Callantsoog. There is a supermarket, a butcher, and a baker, as well as good restaurants and cafes, as well as a few small souvenir shops with lots of great stuff. . .
Leisure activities are plentiful, such as horseback riding, cycling, golfing, canoeing, mountain biking, swimming, gliding, surfing, tennis, volleyball, hiking. Unfortunately, I couldn't do everything in one week :-) but I was also limited in some things because of my dog!!
I can only recommend it! The owners are also very kind, friendly, and accommodating.
