Great place for a family vacation! The chalet was spacious enough for my family of four, and the shared pool was a hit with the kids. Everything was tidy and comfortable. We spent a day biking in the beautiful nature park nearby, which was really nice. The only downside was that we had to pay extra for the pool, but it was worth it for the fun we had. All in all, a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Our stay was wonderful! The open kitchen and dining room of the chalet made family dinners cozy. We loved the proximity of nature parks for hiking. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us useful local tips.

It was great, only the cookware was not nice, all the pans had a Pefas coating and no lid. For the rest, it was fine. Delightfully quiet. If you want to hear birds, wonderful, they sang at the top of their lungs all day. Oh yes, screens for the windows in the bedroom would also be nice. But the location was lovely.

From 16-8-2025 to 20-9-2025 We rented Chalet Boshuisje no.: 101 In the town of Vledder in Drenthe. Accommodation no. NL-8381-17. Highly recommended.
A beautiful chalet with everything on it, - Clean -made beds, use of bath and linen. Cleaning supplies and even a well-functioning vacuum cleaner, a shed where we could put the bikes in and where we could charge the batteries. . the entrance was already great, on a chalkboard they welcomed us warmly and they also had a bottle of Rose and a bowl of nuts for us. We also had good contact with the landlords Albert and Marjan, which seemed nice at first because we didn't know how to open the door. . So I would like to thank these people very much for providing a fantastic stay. There was a downside that we had not counted on, that was that the restaurant was closed during the week, while our information was that it would close at the end of September and not before, so that was quite a disappointment, but that is not the fault of the owners but of the organization of the park.
Who knows, we might come back again.

On arrival there was a tasty gift from the owners ready. Very attentive! Everything else is included (bed, bath and kitchen linen). Both the village of Vledder and Frederiksoord (Colonies of Benevolence – UNESCO World Heritage) are within walking distance. In addition, plenty to see and do in the vicinity.

Owner continues to claim high and low that they are 2 meter box spring beds, even when supplying photo material with measuring tape, this is rejected. We immediately requested an alternative, but nothing came! We were forced to arrange a different way to spend the night ourselves because we cannot sleep in this house. Owner still Belvilla does not want to give money back for nights that were not enjoyed while they themselves do not meet their own rental conditions. Belvilla 24 hour SOS service promised to call back, but the reality is that we always have to call for answers that we do not get. Holiday has been ruined in the meantime. In short: do not book here! Owner and Belvilla are unreliable in this matter.

The forest house was a very nice stay. It was clean, there was ventilation in the bathroom. Great that there was a bbq, we used it a lot. On arrival there was even a bottle of wine and a delicious cake. Enough crockery. Please note, the beds were very soft in our opinion, you just have to love it. We found it no problem. The backrests of all seats (sofa / armchair, dining table chairs and patio chairs) were tilted quite far to the back, so you were not sitting upright when you were against the backrest. We also did not find this a problem, but we did notice. It was also nice that there was an electric fireplace and it was also nice that there was a drying rack for hand washes. I would definitely recommend the forest house.
