This wonderful holiday home in Dégagnac contains all the ingredients for a successful holiday. It is child-friendly and has comfortable bedrooms, a swimming pool (heated) and a bubble bath. Ideal for a pleasant holiday with 2 families. The region offers something for everyone.
You can kayak, fish, swim, go horseback riding, play golf or enjoy a hearty dinner in one of the good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. And all this in a setting of picturesque villages, old castles, beautiful caves and welcoming markets.
As a guest, you have one of the 3 spacious and pleasantly furnished gîtes, equipped with all the necessary comforts. Each gite has its own private terrace and barbecue and is completely separate from the other gites. You can relax in the bubble bath or on one of the sunny terraces around the heated chlorine-free swimming pool with pool house and summer kitchen. For children there is a safe play area with a sandbox and a slide.
There are also wellness options with massages and excursions and horseback riding can be arranged. The bubble bath cannot be used from October 1st to March 31st.

The house really had a French flair, so not modern and high tech, but that has character, but that does not mean that if tiles come loose in the toilet that they still have to be there, not really kid-proof
We booked a house for 8 people, although there were only 4 of us, so our children had their own bedroom and some space, but when we arrived there was only 1 bedroom available, we had to share the bedroom with the 2nd children, they thought it was so practical, but after asking I was given access to the extra floor, but it turned out that it had not been rented or cleaned for a while, quite a musty smell and cobwebs everywhere....
The hall smelled terribly of heating oil and apparently that oil had also run out, but we were able to take a shower in another Gite, which fortunately was not rented out.
The advertisement stated that the house was equipped with a high chair and bed, but after booking it turned out that we had to pay €25 extra for a cot, while it is stated as being provided in the house....
There was also a heated swimming pool but the heating was not on, with the result that we had no access to the swimming pool for the first 2 days as the water was still cold....

Also emailed this message: I would like to let you know that I am dissatisfied with the condition of this holiday home and the description. It is a nice place but disappointing, especially for this high amount. That the floor is not clean (baby crawling on the floor has black pants), the door handle of 1 of the bedrooms clearly needs to be repaired because it falls out (quickly done by the manager), the pool is shared with 3 others stay about 25 people while the description states "shared" swimming pool and the site suggests that it is with 1 other house, everything in the house is outdated, there is visible woodworm in the beams of the house which could be dangerous and the photos clearly show a very optimistic image is still to live with. But the description clearly describes 4x a bedroom while there is a bed on the landing on the 1st floor. This really cannot and must be changed. There is a bed in the hallway between two bedrooms. If someone has to go to the bathroom at night, they walk across the creaky floor and wake up. We now have 3 children in 1 bedroom, which also does not run smoothly. We expect 1. That the description will be adjusted. 2. Like the google review from 11 months ago (see below): part of the money is refunded as the description does not match reality. More than 3000 euros for this is really going too far and should be prevented by others. Incidentally, the caretaker Sanne is easy to reach and co-thinking. I would like to see a response. Wonderfully quiet place! If you like space and silence, this is ideal. The heated pool is certainly an added value! We stayed with our 6 month old baby. We were able to cook ourselves and enjoyed the wonderful weer.Voor older children there is also plenty to do at the gite. With a sandbox, jeus de boulle track and small climbing device. The facilities are a bit further from the house 10-20 min drive away, you must have something left for the rest ;) Keep in mind that the house on z "is French, so don't expect everything to be in top condition in terms of furniture etc.
