Holiday home Groeterstaete 8 is located on the first floor (a lift is available) in a small apartment complex in the centre of Groet in North Holland. It is ideal for a family holiday. The beach is located just 2 km away. Within 8 to 10 minutes cycling you are already on the beach!
A bicycle rental is located diagonally opposite the building.
The spacious holiday home in Groet is nicely and comfortably furnished and has a beautiful location with a nice view. The living room has French doors with a French balcony.
Layout:
hall with separate toilet, spacious living room with comfortable chairs, television and the house has Wi-Fi. Dining table and an open and fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, etc.).
Bedroom with double bed (160x200) and a small bedroom with bunk beds. Modern bathroom with double shower and sink.
Parking is free on the street. Parking in Groet is free of charge. You can park your bicycles indoors in the general bicycle shed.

Just behind the apartment building there are beautiful cycling and walking paths through the forest and dunes to the beach
In Groet you will find a small supermarket, butcher, baker, bike rental, restaurants and 'sociable' terraces. During the summer months Groet offers a night market every Monday evening
There is also a fantastic mountain bike trail within walking distance of the holiday home. Parking on the beach is possible - there is a large parking lot there ( € 6,- per day).

Together with Bergen and Schoorl, Groet offers a very rich variety of everything on a small scale. There are fantastic cycling and walking routes through dunes and woodland and hundreds of kilometres of sandy beaches. In the nearby artists' village of Bergen you will find art markets, galleries and opportunities to go out with live music. Alkmaar, famous for its old town, weekly cheese market and canal cruises, offers fantastic shopping and is about 15 km from Groet. Amsterdam can be reached in approx. 60 km - 40 min by train from Alkmaar to the centre of Amsterdam.

Groeter State 8, leider keine Weiterempfehlung
Zunächst zum Ort:
Dieser ist schön und liegt gut und ist -gerade wenn man viel mit dem Rad unterwegs ist- sehr schön. Im Ort sind mehrere Restaurants und auch direkt nebenan ein Spar Markt.
Zum Appartment:
Das Appartment ist angenehm groß für 2 Personen. Die grundsätzliche Einrichtung ist in Ordnung.
Kritikpunkte:
Das Sofa ist zum gemütlichen Sitzen für mehr als eine erwachsene Person absolut ungeeignet und binzwischen komplett durchgesessen. Die aufgestellten Stühle/Sessel laden kaum mehr als eine halbe Stunde zum sitzen ein und sind einfach nur unbequem. Das Bett ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Es handelt sich um zwei einzelne Gestelle auf Rollen (prima, man wacht morgens auch gerne mal mit einem großen Spalt zwischen den Betten auf). Die Betten sind viel zu niedrig und komplett durchgelegen. Die Matratzen sind nicht hochwertig und auch schon völlig durch.
Das Appartmenthaus ist sehr hellhörig. Man kann alles von den anderen Gästen warnehmen. Für das Appartment 8 steht kein Parkplatz zur Verfügung. Mann muss im Ort parken.
