Renovated in 2025/2026. Solar panels on the roof. Arrival possible daily in our family-friendly bungalow in Dirkshorn, with a glass-covered terrace with lighting. The holiday home offers you a fenced property. The house is family-friendly as there are no steps or stairs. Our detached 75 m² holiday home, quiet and romantic, sunny all day, is very well and fully equipped. The house is located in a park with a large pond that is fenced in and where you can fish. In the park there are also meadows, children's playgrounds, and sports facilities such as soccer, tennis, and table tennis. The sunny house has no thresholds, stairs, or steps (the shower also closes with its glass doors at floor level). The whole house is tiled and there are no carpets (good for allergy sufferers) and it has a large covered terrace with garden furniture and loungers, grill. The holiday home is enclosed with shrubs, lawn, and flowers and is fenced. The house has a living/dining room, 3 bedrooms—2 of which have televisions and box spring beds and a travel cot for children, one bedroom with a bunk bed, a fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, 2 refrigerators and a microwave, grill, oven, deep fryer, waffle iron, raclette, wok, two coffee machines (one pad), kettle, toaster. Our house is located in the bungalow park 'De Horn'.

Location and surroundings of object
The location of the holiday home is near the sea. In about 10 minutes you can reach the North Sea with its kilometers-long and wide sandy beaches.
The bungalow is very quietly situated and very well equipped for a wonderful romantic and relaxing holiday.
It is only 50 meters to the forest (ideal for dogs).
In about 300 meters you reach a supermarket with a meat counter, a bakery shop, and a restaurant with a terrace where you can have dinner in the evening and play billiards. In the holiday resort there are several playgrounds and sports facilities. In the village there is an 18-hole golf course, an outdoor pool, sauna, indoor pool with slide, as well as an indoor playground. Dirkshorn is located in a unique polder landscape with villages in old Dutch architectural style, picturesque farmhouses, old sea dikes, meadows, flower and vegetable fields, canals, waterways, and windmills. The coast with the seaside resorts of the North Sea and the beautiful sandy beach can be reached easily and quickly by car in minutes. Even the Ijsselmeer is only 25 km away. On the outskirts of Dirkshorn lies the 18-hole golf course and a surfing lake that is connected to the harbor. From here you can take beautiful tours with boats (kayak, motorboat) that you can rent. In the village there is an outdoor pool, indoor pool, indoor playground, 18-hole golf course. The central location of Dirkshorn is the ideal starting point for cycling tours in North Holland. The district town of Alkmaar with its famous cheese market and historic old town can be reached in just 15 minutes. The old Hanseatic towns on the IJsselmeer, Medemblik, Enkhuizen, and Hoorn are only about 25 km away. The center of Amsterdam is best reached by train in about 30 minutes. The district town of Schagen is 3 km from Dirkshorn and is very nice for shopping and strolling. Pet allowed free of charge.

There are three televisions in the house. The price includes the use of the travel cot and high chair for children, washing machine, and dryer. From November to March, minimum rental period is 2 days. Prices between 70.-€ and 80.-€ per day. Daily arrival possible. When booking our holiday home, a deposit of 100.-€ is to be paid within 4 weeks, the remainder 4 weeks before the start of the trip. The deposit is 100.-€ and is the down payment.

Not recommended
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the vacation accommodation at all; it lacked cleanliness, and when you wanted to cook, the fuse kept blowing. You had to be careful about which devices you plugged in, and there were extremely many small creatures crawling around in the apartment. (Ants, etc.) On the penultimate day, a mouse was crawling around in the apartment! This was also the reason for our early departure! I tried to talk to the landlords of the property, but unfortunately, you don't get a response anymore when you describe the circumstances. Really sad. You definitely can't recommend it further; maybe rent another house in the area, because the surroundings are really great and very beautiful.

Frau Wegener das eine Sicherung für Strom beim kochen mit einem Gasofen rausspringt , Hut ab Sie Zaubermaus . Mit der Sauberkeit, es ist ein großer Zettel in der Mappe wo drauf steht das man sich bitte wenn irgendetwas nicht in Ordnung ist sofort melden soll damit sofort Abhilfe geschafft werden kann und nicht zwei Tage vor Abreise . Unsere Putzfrau hat weder Kleintiere noch eine Maus im Haus gefunden . Die Nachmieter übrigens auch nicht .
