Wonderful, very spacious 165sqm holiday flat, quietly located on the outskirts of Königsfeld, the gateway to Franconian Switzerland. The ideal starting point for various activities: such as hiking, climbing, cycling, skiing and cross-country skiing and various day trips
There is a covered staircase leading to the separate entrance. The flat itself is at ground level.
It consists of 2 bedrooms with double beds (can also be converted into 4 bed rooms); modern bathroom with corner bath, walk-in shower, Wc, urinal, double sink and washing machine; and a bathroom with shower and WC
Living room with couch set and 2 sep. double sleeping beds, play corner for the little ones
modern, well-equipped kitchen with microwave, electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and dining area.
Internet access.
Covered terrace (with additional awning), beach chair, table and chairs, and a barbecue fireplace
A sauna is available for an extra charge.
In the garden there is a pool house with heated pool (only in the summer months), covered seating for cosy evenings

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday flat is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Königsfeld, only 150m from the centre of the village.
The garden is ideal for children as it is secluded and away from the road.
The flat itself is at ground level, stairs are only outside/entrance and towards the garden.
In the garden there is a pool house with a heated pool (heat pump; the pool is used by us and the holiday guests)
As well as various children's toys such as climbing tower with slide and swing.
Königsfeld is a small village with about 650 inhabitants. In the centre of the village there is 1 restaurant and a small bakery. The newly renovated parish church of St. James the Elder and St. Catherine is also worth a visit. It is one of the oldest rural churches in the archdiocese of Bamberg
Many excursions can be started from Königsfeld, such as the world cultural city of Bamberg, the festival city of Bayreuth, the beer city of Kulmbach, Pottenstein, Kronach Fortress, the Basilica of Vierzehnheiligen, Banz Monastery, Staffelberg, the thermal baths of Obernsees and Staffelstein, Tambach Wildlife Park, Thurn Castle Leisure Park, Greifenstein Castle, the Forest Summit Trail in Ebrach, as well as the well-known beer hiking trail to the various breweries in the area.
There is also a climbing forest in Veilbronn.

In winter, there are plenty of opportunities for cross-country skiing and sledging in the immediate vicinity.

Beautiful walking/cultural holiday
Very nice flat with enough space. Very nice sauna. I can recommend the flat without reservation
Bamberg was also only about half an hour away by car. It all fitted very well. However, you do need a car. Grocery shops and the surrounding towns can (almost) only be reached by car.
Very friendly hosts. The flat is recommended.

Dear Fam.Kohler
Thank you for the week we spent with you. We felt very comfortable. The apartment is super nice and equipped with everything you need on holiday. People who don't feel comfortable with you have probably only ever spent their holidays in a tent. The only thing we have to complain about is that the garden could do with a little cutting so that it is easier to get to the swimming pool. Otherwise, the cooling in the pool is just great. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and acquaintances.

It all worked out great for us.
Dear Kohler family,
Thank you very much for the opportunity to spend our short vacation and small family gathering in your beautiful, spacious and well-equipped holiday apartment.
Everything was there and even more. If we had stayed longer, we could have definitely enjoyed a swim in the pool, used the sauna or had a cozy barbecue. Perhaps it will work out again soon.
Hikers or city travelers will also find a good starting point from Königsfeld, and there are also some dining options in the surrounding area and in the town itself. For beer lovers, the region is already a hotspot!
Our dog also had something to discover and had already become accustomed to the apartment over time.
In conclusion - we fondly remember this vacation and would be pleased if it works out again.

Very nice holiday apartment
We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful holiday apartment. It had almost everything one needs in a holiday apartment.
The landlords were very friendly. The covered pool and the Hollywood swing were an experience.

Beautiful holiday
Hello, to all who want to spend a relaxing holiday in a beautiful holiday flat.
We were on the road with our grandchildren and they were all very enthusiastic. You can easily do your shopping in Hollfeld (Norma, Netto, Aldi) and there is a bakery for fresh rolls in the morning. Our grandchildren are water rats so the pool was ideal, but the thermal spa in Obernsees is also highly recommended. Trips to Thurnau, a visit to Greifenstein Castle and Zwernitz Castle with its rock garden are well worth a trip.
Many thanks to the landlords for sending us the forgotten things. All the best for the future - we recommend....

Dreamy vacation apartment in a great location
We are already staying for the 6th time in this beautiful holiday apartment in September. Huge living space, 2 bathrooms so you don't get in each other's way. There is a lot of toys for the little ones in the apartment, they will definitely not get bored. Everything you need is available in the apartment. The outdoor area is equally great, especially for the little ones with a sandbox, trampoline, slide, swing, climbing house, and of course the pool. There is also a nice large grill available. The landlords are wonderful people, if you have a wish or concern, it will be fulfilled immediately. We were also there during the 2014 World Cup and drove back as world champions. We always bring our grandchildren, who have already made friends with the landlords' children. A holiday in this house can only be recommended, you will enjoy it very much. So dear Sonja, dear Gerald, chill the Huppendorf beer, we will come soon. Lovely greetings from Birgit and Klaus from Schöffengrund (HESSEN) P.S. There is a bakery in the village, a great butcher 2 km away in Steinfeld. Big shopping in Hollfeld with Edeka, Lidl, Aldi, NKD, and KiK. Definitely visit Huppendorf with its own brewery and inn. There is a lot to explore.

Klasse Familienurlaub
mit 7 Personen und einem kleinen Hund kann man sich auf 150 qm Wohnfläche tatsächlich nicht auf die Füsse treten ;-) Bei schönem Wetter waren die Kinder nicht mehr aus dem Pool zu bekommen, bei schlechtem Wetter war genug Spielzeug in der Wohnung vorhanden sowie genug Möglichkeiten die ganze Familie auch außerhalb der 4 Wände zu unterhalten!

First-class holiday apartment for families in a quiet, sunny location with a panoramic view.
This vacation rental is simply fantastic! Incredibly spacious, whether in the living room, kitchen, or bathroom. Highly recommended for families with young children. Our son (1) and our daughter (7) felt super comfortable in the apartment. Everything is clean and in top condition. Everything you need is already there, such as towels, bed linen, crib, high chair for children... Our two kids especially loved the existing play corner, so our own toys stayed in the bag!
The outdoor area is also unbeatable. There are play equipment for the kids, a barbecue area, and a great pool. The landlord and family are really nice people, and we spent lovely hours barbecuing, playing with the kids, and watching the World Cup with them.
And a little tip for beer-drinking vacationers: In the neighboring village, you can find the tastiest beer on earth. See for yourself!
