Description
Our holiday home is beautifully nestled in a small settlement of wooden houses near a chapel. In St. Lambrecht, about one kilometer away, there are very good restaurants, pharmacy and attractive shops. A super market is well stocked.
May I introduce myself? It's me, the very cosy, biologically built holiday home of the Riedl family.
I was built the way my owners prefer to live: very cosy, organic. But my "masters" also like it a bit more exclusive. I like to show you what I have to offer!
The wooden house in idyllic location offers space for up to eight people, it has a terrace with a small garden. Cars can be safely parked in the carport.
The accommodation
1. The best thing - the location!
In the middle of the idyll and yet only 1.5 km to the center with shops and restaurants. A small stream next door and a few other nice cottages!
2. The second best thing - the location!
Only 2 km to the ski lift! Hiking or biking from the front door!
3. The cosiness
On the ground floor:
is the vestibule, here you can deposit your ski gear, shoes and coats! There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet and of course our heart: the large, open living and dining area with 2 lazy beds, the TV, kitchen and cosy dining table!
What I like most about it!....ALLE are TOGETHER...whether lazing in front of the TV or playing board games at the table or when cooking, then you are in the middle of it!
Upstairs:
are 3 double rooms, sometimes with single beds, sometimes with double bed, depending on how close you like to cuddle!
There is also a 2nd bathroom up here.
In the attic:
are single beds - here the children prefer to sleep - because there you have your own kingdom!
4. The equipment
Carport for maximum 2 cars, kitchen with all necessary equipment and dishes,
TV with satellite, washing machine, dishwasher
5. The small garden
is fenced with a wooden fence: Ideal with children and possibly a pet
AND since I am always cleaned by professionals after each guest, a dog is also allowed in our house upon request!

Our holiday home is situated in an area blessed by God. The nature park Grebenzen is without exaggeration the friendliest side of Austria - and also one of the cheapest. The holiday guest is warmly welcome in St. Lambrecht in the region of Murau. Already around 1900, this region was a classic summer resort destination for people from Austria, Germany, Italy and Hungary looking for recreation because of its excellent climate. In winter the region is known for its good snow conditions. One speaks of a summer and winter paradise.
Our hut is ideally situated for winter sports. The house is easily accessible, the car is protected under the carport. The ski lift in the village leads to the Grebenzen. Kreischberg, Frauenalpe, Lachtal and Turracher Höhe are other popular skiing destinations. After snowfall the cross-country ski trails are groomed, ice skating is possible on frozen ponds.
In summer, the area in the nature park is also a dream: situated at an altitude of a good 900 metres, our holiday home offers the best relaxation (without mosquitoes) at pleasant night temperatures despite the heat of the day. The recreational value is enormous in this stimulating climate with the best air values. Mountain lakes and ponds invite you to take a bath, the spa Wildbad Einöd (located near Neumarkt) is the oldest thermal bath in Styria. Mushrooms and berries can be picked in the forest. Themed hiking trails invite you to explore. Especially recommended is the ice age adventure hiking trail. Those who want to enjoy southern flair should make side trips to Klagenfurt and Lake Wörth. If you want to immerse yourself in the history of the early Christian era, you should visit the cathedral and catacombs of Gurk. A highlight is the Heinrich-Harrer-Tibet-Museum in Hüttenberg. Knights' will be thrilled by the three-castle town of Friesach
Only a few kilometres from Ferienhaus Riedl, at 1900 metres, you have a magnificent view of the mountain worlds of Zirbitzkogel, Radstätter Tauern, Hohe Tauern, Karawanken etc. The Günstner waterfalls are worth a trip, because they are the longest waterfalls of the Seiermark. With the Murtal narrow-gauge railway you can explore the Murtal from Murau, a great thing!

The final cleaning and bed linen (linen package) must be paid for on-site at the property management. Please have the exact change ready. Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 30 days before the day of arrival is possible. If the tenant cancels the contract before the start of the rental period, the following proportionate rents are to be paid, unless an alternative rental is possible: Cancellation up to 30 days before the start of the rental: 0% of the rental price; up to 14 days before the start of the rental: 50% of the rental price; later than 14 days: 100% of the rental price. If the tenant is more than 14 days late in paying the rent, the landlord is entitled to terminate the contract without further reasons and rent the property to someone else. If you are unable to start your rental for any reason, please speak to us as early as possible.
