The Strandhus 7 offers all the amenities for a restful and relaxing holiday for up to 6 people on approx. 100 m² of living space.
On the ground floor there is a large living room with open kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a utility room
In the generously designed living room, a cosy seating area invites you to relax or watch TV. You can receive satellite TV and radio via the large flat-screen TV
A large living room table set offers enough space for everyone to eat or play. A highlight is also the bay window, which gives the living room an even better cosiness.
The open kitchen is equipped with all common kitchen appliances.
Here you will find, among other things, a cooker with ceramic hob and oven, a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle and many more.
Through the 4 large terrace windows as well as 3 single windows, a lot of light falls into the living area. The terrace windows give access to the terrace, which extends over 2 sides of the house. Due to the location, you can enjoy the sun here from late in the morning until late in the evening.
The utility room also houses a washing machine and an electric tumble dryer, which are available to you as a guest free of charge.
In the attic there are 3 bedrooms, each equipped with 2 beds. There is 1 TV in each bedroom.
From one bedroom you have access to the balcony. It offers a beautiful overview of the holiday complex and invites you to linger.
There is also another large bathroom with shower.
For a pleasant climate, the entire house is equipped with underfloor heating.
High-quality fly-screen windows throughout the house also provide effective protection against mosquitoes.
A high chair and travel cot are available free of charge for small children.

Location and surroundings of object
On the grounds of the holiday park there is also a very nice playground and a small sports field where you can play football or volleyball. Since the area is a bit off the beaten track, cycling or skateboarding is no problem.
The Kurplatz, the central place of Glowe, can be reached on foot in only 5-10 minutes.
In addition to the many snack and souvenir shops, most cultural events take place here in summer.
The house also serves as a starting point for bicycle tours, as several cycle paths (e.g. to Cape Arkona or around the Jasmund Bodden) pass in the immediate vicinity.

New due to the coronavirus crisis: If traveling to the island of Rügen or the vacation destination is not possible due to a lockdown, our contractually defined cancellation periods are waived. In this case, vacationers will be refunded the 20% deposit of the travel price, or they can alternatively use it towards a later booking.

The island of Rügen is the largest island in Germany and is one of the sunniest areas in Germany. Due to the size of the island, there is much to discover here, not only in summer. The island is known for its wonderful sandy beaches, the famous chalk cliffs and the Störtebecker Festival in Ralswieck. Especially from May to October, there is a varied and extensive cultural programme. All year round, the hiking and cycling trails invite you to relax and enjoy nature, for example in several landscape parks.
The village of Glowe lies directly on the Baltic Sea on the Jasmund peninsula. The Schaabe is located here. This is the name of the approx. 8 km long bay between Glowe and Juliusruh. It is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the Baltic Sea coast. The beach is only about 200 metres from the holiday home.
The area around Glowe is also known for its nature tourism. An extensive network of cycling and hiking trails can be used for sporting activities. So you can explore the sights of Cape Arkona or the chalk cliffs at the Königsstuhl by bike from here. Glowe is also a paradise for anglers or mushroom pickers.
Whether salmon, cod or pikeperch, the surrounding waters offer a special experience for every angler to pursue their hobby.

A beautiful house with defects.
The house is wonderfully located, and the path to the beach is really only about 250m. The furnishings are simple but sufficient. The beds are comfortable; we slept very well. The borrowed bedding had seen better days; it was clean but partly had holes and was worn out. A dish towel was only delivered after a complaint. Kitchen appliances and dishes are sufficiently available; we bought and donated a citrus juicer, but ice cube trays were missing. The house was only superficially cleaned upon our arrival, although it had been free for a week before we moved in. We had to clean the oven, the sink was smudged, dust lay on all hidden surfaces, which had only been briefly addressed. In the glass cabinet, you could see the rings where glasses had stood. The charcoal grill grate was crusted from previous users, and old ash was still in the grill tray. The windows of the house were partly so "smudged" that hardly any sunlight could enter the house. What does one pay €95 for end-cleaning? ? ? ? ? ? The shower on the ground floor overflowed during the first shower and did not drain. However, the drain was cleaned immediately by the manager after we reported it, but the loose doorknob to the heating/laundry room was not repaired during our stay. The beach chair that was mentioned in the equipment description was not present. In response to our criticism regarding the cleanliness of the house, the manager more or less did not address it. "The windows are not cleaned after every tenant change," was the only comment. I believe we left the house cleaner than we found it after the last final cleaning.
