The holiday home is only 150 meters from the beach and the boulevard, and in just a 3-minute walk you are in the cozy fishing village.

The spacious holiday home is located 200 meters from the beach, the promenade, and only two minutes’ walk from the village.
Egmond aan Zee is a seaside resort in the municipality of Bergen in the province of North Holland. Egmond consists of three villages: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond-Binnen, and Egmond aan den Hoef. Egmond aan Zee is the best known of the three villages. More than 1000 years ago, a fishing village arose here, but since the beginning of the last century the village has also been of interest to tourists. Both the fishing industry and the touristic past are still clearly visible in the townscape. On the beach promenade stands the prominent Jan van Speyk lighthouse, which can also be seen well from the village.
The village offers holidaymakers plenty of entertainment. There are many terraces, restaurants, and a shopping center. In summer, an event with lots of village entertainment is organized every week, which can be pleasantly admired from a terrace on Pompplein square. Egmond aan Zee has numerous shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafés, and of course the beautiful lighthouse.
The shops are open seven days a week all year round and are easily accessible.
Following the development of Egmond aan Zee begins the beautiful natural landscape of the North Holland Dune Reserve.
Egmond offers both a beach, as well as a beautiful promenade and an inviting village center. You certainly won’t get bored on the beach, as numerous activities are often organized here. Egmond is also located in a beautiful area, surrounded by expansive dunes. Nearby, there are also other lovely excursion destinations, such as Bergen aan Zee and the forests. Cycling and hiking are very popular in this area.
In addition, Egmond aan Zee is close to Alkmaar, a city that offers plenty of culture and history, such as the famous cheese market, which is certainly worth a visit.
Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are easy to reach.

It was OK
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall. From the first contact to arrival, everything worked smoothly. We would have liked to receive the access code for the key safe a bit earlier.
Upon arrival, everything was clean and tidy. The house is nice and spacious, and the location is really great: The beach is quickly accessible, parking options are good, and the information folder in the accommodation is very helpful.
However, it should be mentioned that the accommodation is very noisy. In the evenings, you can hear doors and noises from the neighboring area so clearly that it sometimes sounds like someone is walking through your own apartment. No security issue, but quite disturbing at night.
Some small things could be improved: The garden chair cushions were outside and wet upon our arrival despite the rain. A small freezer compartment in the refrigerator would also be desirable. The €75 final cleaning fee seems a bit high to us, especially since we are also expected to take out the trash and strip the beds. A regular broom for the apartment would also be useful. The one provided is more of a street broom – especially with an accommodation by the beach, sand in the apartment is unavoidable.
Overall, we had a nice time and would recommend the accommodation due to the great location and spacious rooms.

Cozy summer house with lots of privacy
Because the summer house has almost all rooms on the ground floor, it was very pleasant for us. The underfloor heating was also pleasant as the weather during our vacation was not so good, with a lot of wind and rain. Nevertheless, we were well equipped in the summer house and Egmond aan Zee always remains a beautiful place to return to.
Next time, we would book this house again.

We are Patrick and Sylvia and come from the have together made a lot of beach vacations. A holiday for us had always near the sea have always dreamed of, and to live itself close to the beach. Near the sea we came namely completely to rest and could enjoy our time delightfully without reservations. In March 2016 was finally time. Our dream came true: We bought our house with the summer house in Egmond aan Zee. First, a more elaborate conversion brought a lot of work, but now everything is completely new and just as we have liked. Egmond aan Zee met all our housing requirements. There is on the one hand, this cozy "village feeling" - and yet everything you need, also available: shops, beach, dunes and of course the beach promenade For us, it is the ideal place, we have our good fortune found hope to welcome you in one of our comfortable accommodations you soon.

Bei der Ankunft war alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Haus ist schön geräumig und die Lage wirklich top: Der Strand ist schnell erreichbar, Parkmöglichkeiten sind gut und die Infomappe in der Unterkunft sehr hilfreich.
Erwähnen sollte man allerdings, dass die Unterkunft sehr hellhörig ist. Gerade abends hört man Türen und Geräusche aus dem Nachbarbereich so deutlich, dass es teilweise klingt, als würde jemand durch die eigene Wohnung laufen. Kein Sicherheitsproblem, aber nachts durchaus störend.
Einige Kleinigkeiten könnten verbessert werden: Die Gartenstuhlauflagen waren bei unserer Ankunft trotz Regen bereits draußen und dadurch nass. Ein kleines Eisfach im Kühlschrank wäre ebenfalls wünschenswert.
Die 75 € Endreinigung finden wir etwas hoch, wenn zusätzlich Müll selbst rausgebracht und die Betten abgezogen werden sollen. Auch ein normaler Besen für die Wohnung wäre sinnvoll. Der vorhandene ist eher ein Straßenbesen – gerade bei einer Unterkunft am Strand ist Sand in der Wohnung schließlich unvermeidbar.
Insgesamt hatten wir eine schöne Zeit und würden die Unterkunft aufgrund der tollen Lage und der großzügigen Räume weiterempfehlen.
Der Check-in verlief reibungslos.
Die Wohnung war sauber, die Matratzen gut.
Unser Sohn war mit dem Smart-TV zufrieden :)
Dennoch waren wir im Sommerhaus gut ausgestattet und Egmond aan Zee bleibt immer ein schöner Ort, um zurückzukehren.
Für das nächste Mal würden wir dieses Haus wieder buchen.
Alles sehr gemütlich mit viel Charme eingerichtet.

Die 3 Mädels aus NRW....
Die Ausstattung ist super, es gibt ein kleines WC und ein etwas größeres Bad mit WC, beides sehr neu.
Die Küche bietet neben Gasherd und kobinierterm Backofen/Mikrowellengrill alles was man benötigt um sich wohl zu fühlen. Auf der kleinen Terasse im Innenhof kann man gemütlich morgens einen Kaffeee in der Sonne trinken.
Innerhalb von ca 4 Gehminuten ist man auch schon am Strand, innerhalb von 8-10min im Zentrum von Egmond aan Zee. Die Lage ist also perfekt.
Wir haben unsere Urlaubswoche hier sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.
