You will find nature, comfort and relaxation in our comfortably furnished holiday home with a view over the Bodstedter Bodden to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. The holiday home is suitable for up to 7 people and invites you to relax even in winter. The open kitchen with adjoining dining area is fully equipped. On the ground floor you will also find a washing machine and the bathroom, which is equipped with a shower. On the upper floor are the two bedrooms and the bathroom with whirlpool bath. In addition, the attic has been converted and is equipped with two single beds. The room is especially suitable for children / teenagers.
Free wifi is available. Our holiday home is a non-smoking house. Your pet is welcome with us and the property is fenced, which allows for a relaxed holiday with dog. You can store the bicycles you have brought with you in the gazebo. In the garden with terrace (with garden furniture and barbecue) you can spend relaxing days. The region offers many possibilities for an active recreational holiday, such as water sports, hiking, cycling, horseback riding and boat tours (also possible by bike) and much more.
Leisure activities: The good transport connections invite you to go on excursions in the nearer and further surroundings by bike or car. Discover the Baltic seaside resorts of Zingst and Prerow, the traditional towns of Born and Wieck or the artists' village of Ahrenshoop. A trip to the Darß lighthouse (Natureum Darßer Ort) by Kremser or the Prerow Bimmelbahn is very attractive, even for children. You might be lucky and even find amber there on your walk along the beach. Explore the historic old town of Stralsund with the German Oceanographic Museum and the Ozeaneum. Go shopping in Rostock's old town or explore the amber museum or the amber manufactory in Ribnitz-Damgarten. The bird park in Marlow or Karl's Erlebnishof in Rövershagen are very popular with children. Swimming in the Bodden or on the Baltic Sea beach are also among the most beautiful summer activities. But there are also many possibilities for excursions on the water.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located on a small cul-de-sac. It is off the main road. The view of the Bodstedt Bodden and the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula gives you that true 'holiday feeling'. There is a small bathing beach about 300 metres away. In neighbouring Bodstedt there is also a bathing beach and several restaurants. In Bodstedt's traditional harbour, the passenger ships with the destinations Born and Prerow dock. Enjoy the peace and nature of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft as well as the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts of Zingst and Prerow, which can be reached quickly.
The region also boasts a unique natural landscape: extensive forests, meadows and a sandy beach that stretches along the entire peninsula. In spring and autumn, thousands of cranes linger on the Bodden coast. During the day, they can be observed very close to our holiday home.

a) For a cancellation up to the 50th day before the start of occupancy, 20% (deposit) of the total price. b) For a cancellation from the 49th to the 30th day before the start of occupancy, 50% of the total price. c) For a cancellation from the 29th day to the day before the start of occupancy, 90% of the total price. Taking out travel cancellation insurance is therefore recommended.

A well maintained very nice holiday home
A very beautiful, well-maintained holiday home. Four of us (2 couples) were guests in the Kranichnest holiday home for a week in April. The house offers everything you could imagine for a holiday home. A very nice living room with sofa, LCD TV etc., a kitchen integrated in the room with a large dining table, a fireplace and various books leave nothing to be desired. The 3 bedrooms are functionally equipped. Two with double bed and in the converted attic two single beds (very suitable for two children but also 2 adults). In one bedroom there is a second TV
When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace and barbecue.
The house is very quiet. By car you can reach Barth and the beautiful Fischland-Darß with the places Zingst, Prerow and others after a short drive. Rostock, Stralsund or Rügen are also not far away.
The manager, Mr Bartz, takes care of all our needs and little problems.
We were very satisfied and can recommend the Kranichnest with a clear conscience.
