Domaine d ' Essendiéras is a beautifully landscaped domain (400 HA) with two impressive castles and a challenging 9-holes golf course in the middle of the green heart of the Dordogne.

the domain is spacious and rural you still can have a lot of privacy.
The two castles which dominate the estate form together with the outbuildings a closed courtyard: a fantastic medieval decor where in the summer months, live music is played and where you can eat and drink at long tables.
After the restoration the original function of the buildings is kept. So you'll find the original stables, blacksmith shop, carpenter shop, the tobacco attic and so on.
Wherever you look; beautiful views and brilliant colours at any time of the year give you a lasting memory of Domaine d ' Essendiéras.
A fine environment to spend your holiday, a wedding party or to organize a seminar.
Beautifully landscaped domain with two impressive castles and a challenging 9-holes golf course in the middle of the green heart of the Dordogne.
The domain gets delicious water from his own sources. In the summer season freshly baked bread daily available at the castle, live music on the courtyard of the enchanting castles and a cosy table d' hôte every week, and for young and old, at all levels, professional golf clinics.

The accommodation has everything a holiday needs, so luxurious. The pool is great, big, clean and always in the sun. The house has lovely rooms with fine window frames and sun shutters, so stylish! A beautiful west-facing balcony and east-facing backyard allowing you to have breakfast and dinner in the sun. The rooms are homely furnished and attractively lit and perfectly stocked with comfortable sofas, chairs and tables. And then the kitchen; There is so much content in these cupboards that we don't even have that at home. Crockery, kitchen utensils, but also practical matters such as cleaning agents and oil, vinegar, pepper and salt are not lacking. Fresh towels on the beds and a washing machine plus dryer for laundry. The area where the holiday home (only 5) is located is a castle domain with beautiful nature, 2 swimming lakes and a golf course, which gives your stay the tranquility that makes a holiday at Belvilla special. The town is nice, so typically French and there is plenty to see and experience in the area. Recommended!

Beautiful surroundings and views with a nice heated swimming pool and a large covered terrace. There were some shortcomings in the accommodation, such as drains that drain badly, lights that do not burn, window / door closures that are very bad, gate of swimming pool that is badly closed, plank of bench outside which is rotten but most disturbing was the fabric seat and sofa bed that was completely smeared with dirty places where we left blankets. Also, the wooden floor hardens hard to hear hard in the bedroom below (where the child slept), the shower tray leaks in the bedroom and is full of fungus places, some of the pool chairs have their screws loosened, the toilet to be closed with colson strap? bathroom not lockable, ...

Very nice and quiet domain. The swimming pool and garden were great for the children, as was the playground on the domain. Several nice towns / castles to visit in the area.
The ground floor was very outdated and clearly needed maintenance. The bathroom was half falling apart and there was barely any pressure on the pipes. We were very disappointed in this.
