The house and facilities were generally fine but check-in was a bit disappointing. We had some questions in connection with our check-in and the listed caretaker was impossible to contact. Helpline proved a bit of a challenge but eventually helped us get into the house. Overall the stay delivered what we expected.

Horrible horrible experience from start to finish. Was sent fradulent emails from the company, advised from my booking agent not to click on any email links from this company. Was constantly asked for more money for a cleaning fee despite their being no mention of it on my initial booking. No check in information provided. Spent hours on the phone just trying to get a code to get in. No bed linen and towels provided. Reception never open during the times I was there. Disgraceful rude customer service. Will be doing everything I can to avoid anything to do with this company in the future.

When we arrived, the barrier did not open, which meant we had to walk back and forth several times with all our belongings. If you have to walk uphill and downhill 500 meters six times, it's not really a warm welcome. The owner did not answer and also did not respond to messages; eventually, other guests were able to help us so we could park for the rest of our stay. However, there was significant leakage causing it to literally rain inside, and we had to empty a bucket every hour; the owner again did not answer and did not call back. After a few attempts, we just gave up. Fortunately, it was dry except for one night and one evening. If the problems are resolved, we will definitely come back, but improvements need to be made, at the very least the owner should respond.

Cottage is highly recommended, but please book through another organization to save yourself misery.

bunk beds in the same room as one of the two double beds. A separate room would have been interesting. No toilets on the top floor. No spare toilet paper. The heating in the downstairs bathroom was not working. No instructions to change the language of the TV which is in Flemish. For the rest, it's fine.
