A great house! Clean and fully equipped. BBQ to gourmet fondue plate or everything is available. The entire house is spotless. The reception is superb and very nice that they take you to the house otherwise you will not be so easy. Very friendly people and lots to do in the area. We have 2 young children (3 and 6 years) and who have been entertained along. A hiking trip or a visit to the Carnival Museum is a must. The privacy is super! Watch out for the additional costs. If you take the wrong turn on the heater will cost you a reasonable capital flow. Also, the wood, water and the garbage has to be paid. We were without somewhere to watch, 291 euros for all this. Still pretty tough. Worth repeating. In short, highly recommended!.

Reception was inorde! Owners lay everything out and offer help when needed. During really cold weather, the Jacuzzi and sauna not to use. They can not get warm. The cottage is beautifully situated above Malmedy. the road to the house is narrow and style, but by the good weather was no problem. Owners are very nice, the man hardly speaks Dutch, but the owner speaks enough English. We had a great time in the beautiful house. Good use of the facilities such as Jacuzzi and sauna. The cottage is beautifully situated with a great panoramic view of Malmedy! Decor is nice and neat, beautiful fireplace is large, and the bathroom is working properly and is nice and relaxing. Outside, the jacuzzi and the sauna really delicious, both are good at high temperatures to get even with -10! 40C get the jacuzzi which is hot enough! Owner speaks only french with poor German and NL words through it, but that's no problem! Furthermore very helpful, after a call he stands within 10min at the door to help with anything! Compliments! The stairs / road to Malmedy itself is tough but doable for people with fitness and good for people with mobility problems! However, the last 500m by car to the house in the snow a real hell! Yesterday we (4 adults and 1 toddler) came back from a great stay at home Livremont. This was our 2nd time, first time was in 2005. There is now quite a renewed and modernized, only benefit! And of course there was now the hot tub and sauna, which were delicious! Really aanwinst.Het is a nice house, not too big, but big enough. It is very private, surrounded by a bos.En you can use the stairs and walk down a path, as in Malmedy. Indeed, you lose the deposit for the electricity consumed. For us, great! We, 2 adults and 2 dogs were great, (outdoor), sauna, hot tube (inside) and steam bath bubbles, open fireplace, all you need is there! The veranda is also recommended, yet dry, if it rains on bad days! And if you just want to out-eat, Malmady much fun! Walking in the woods, directly at the house, you would surely get lost .... if you do not watch for the signs! end

The stately looking house (formerly a music venue) is very nice and has a nice view of Malmedy. It is a special holiday home, located on a steep mountainside. From the house you have a beautiful view over Malmedy. Via a footpath walk down the slope and you are within 10 minutes in the center, where there is a choice of restaurants and shops are. There are beautiful hiking trails in the area. Our experience in Livremont was perfect. The weather was fine and we had a wonderful week. Lots of fun things for kids to do in the area. The house is very special and has everything you need. With a magnificent view! The manager was very nice and brings you to the house upon arrival. This is necessary because otherwise you will find very difficult. There is a path that you walk to the center of Malmedy brings and that's doable. Back asks some more of your condition, but even our children 2,5 and 5 have accomplished it without much trouble. We stayed one week in Livremont and have had a wonderful holiday. We had beautiful weather and could thus enjoy everything in and around the house. Great view and very friendly manager who gave us the first day all the way to the house inflicted. That was very nice because the road to the house is not very easy to find and sometimes difficult passable but if you 't once have found it is the next day no problem! The house is comfortable, all equipped and above (on arrival) clean! Malmedy It is very cozy and the wider environment is very beautiful! There is plenty to do and something for everyone! Lots of privacy but yet everything is within reach (shops, town center, forests). Owners very friendly and helpful. What I had read in many reviews was that electricity costs were on the high side. The owners were aware of this and have a pellet stove installed, and told that the cost did drop significantly. Highly recommended!

We were for the 2nd time at this place. The risk of disappointment than in wait. But we were again very satisfied. The house has a new kitchen and other stove. The routes start in the village for the cathedral but beware, if you route three want to follow, you can close to the cottage all on the trail, which saves an additional ascent of Livremont -).

Few days have been here after the holidays, a really super house, with a fantastic view of Malmedy and the path down within 5 minutes in the center! Really recommended! Or two tips of the way after is to really really narrow and steep and take a photo of the meter on arrival and departure and check the settlement carefully!

We are very often been in the Ardennes. The unique thing about this place is that you are in 5 minutes in Malmedy with all its amenities. And with 100% privacy at the house. We have the car for the whole week. Malmedys suffice walks. The snow made everything complete. We were already prepared for the bill after all messages. We arrived on Monday afternoon and the hostess drove us out to Livremont, not without reason because with Tomtom is the way to not be found, so very kind to it that it did so. The jacuzzi is wonderful time! The cottage is very clean with 2 super showers and bathtubs. There are also 2 toilets which is convenient. A real must for those who like peace and quiet and the Ardennes! For us, the house gets a big 10! It is an ideal environment with older children but for younger children is the area of u200bu200bthe cottage is dangerous by steep slopes. The only thing is nowhere mentioned that there are additional costs, ie € 3.5 € 10 for water and sundries. We had to pay a total of € 115 with electricity and cleaning. Please note. A midweek enjoyed delicious! Little has been done in the area, because we went just for a relaxing holiday. Therefore a lot of use of the Jacuzzi and Sauna. Very nice to watch while everything will lie! Lovely house with luxury and with a handsome television, have enormous genoten.Het view is beautiful and very private, yet close to the lively center of Malmedy.Ook go for walks in the woods near the huis.Lekker sat in the jacuzzi while regende.Ook optimal use of the sauna gemaakt.Een downside, we have a washing machine gemist.In the summer is not as "a problem but in the herft if you've been nice to walk in the woods and it is quite muddy than are you after a few days again clean clothing and after four days it will be zeuren.Maar that is a lot of holiday cottage so.

Had a lovely holiday, the weather was obviously it. The kids loved the way the car is not as nice (steep and narrow), but otherwise had no complaints from the kids. Through the path quickly in the center of Malmedy. The path back up was an attack on the legs. Our dog was fine roam freely.

As "a pretty location of a holiday we have not previously had. Boy, even though it rains steal, it continues to enjoy with that view. Also found our dogs the paths in the private forest very exciting. Everyone satisfied so and certainly for repeat susceptible!

What a wonderful beautiful house. Well nice that the friendly owner for you from driving to the house because it is well hidden on the mountain with beautiful views of Malmedy. After a brief, clear explanation of the house all weekend, we enjoyed what it had to offer. The Jacuzzi and sauna are used extensively. The bathroom was like brand new and beautiful, even in 1 of the bedrooms had been given a new sink and shower. Our two dogs have wonderful gescharreld around the house. Big plus is its own path down because you stand for 5 minutes in the center, back takes a little longer because then you up. It really is a house where you still want to go once.

Place beautiful! Privacy top. Only garden not maintained and general maintenance has lagged behind for a while. Shame. My hands itch. Plant in pots, remove some weeds. And living room furniture I would also tackle. New table outside with suitable chairs….

Great place, great house, the road to it is tough. But you are really in the Ardennes. The view is phenomenal and the stairs in the garden are also great. We will definitely come back.

The cottage is in a very nice place with lots of privacy The interior is generally fine but can be improved here and there However, the road to the cottage the last few hundred meters is a bit of a challenge and not every driver will be happy about this. The stairs in front of the house are handy, which takes you to the center in 5 minutes. For cycling enthusiasts , the nearby Vennbahn is a godsend if you find the mountaineering too difficult . The owner is very friendly and with hand gestures you can get out.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. From the house you can take beautiful walks in the hills or in the town. The living room is somewhat dated and on the small side. With 6 adults inside it is tight. Please note that there are additional costs on top of the rental price, such as a fixed amount per day for water, electricity (per Kwh), wood for the hot tub, etc. Especially when the heating has to be turned on (electric) inside, this can be quite increase. In any case, keep in mind that you will soon lose at least about €220 per week on top of the rental price.

Unique location in the center of Malmedy. The house is elevated and secluded, but it is only a five-minute walk and you will arrive in the center where delicious warm bakeries and an excellent caterer can be found. Due to its unique location in the middle of the forest, it radiates peace and tranquility. Located on a south-facing slope, you can enjoy the terrace.

Very nicely furnished house in a wonderful location (it corresponds 100% to the official description). But you should also know that this house is really in the middle of a forest and the unpaved driveway is sometimes very steep.In the house itself, the stairs to the upper floor are very narrow and steep, so you should be a bit flexible, but otherwise a wonderful house, we come again.

Friendly owners, house very clean and pleasant. The outside view is phenomenal. However, the jacuzzi is outdated and very energy-consuming resulting in a very high electricity bill. Wifi is not very efficient and is often uit.Pellets for the stove is best to buy yourself in the almost HUBO (or other), is cheaper uit.GPS brings you to the beginning of the street, then it is a little search (Fortunately the owner is prepared to drive).

Fantastic location with full view of Malmedy. Nice private house with nice facilities (lovely jacuzzi), and yet it is only a few minutes downhill to be in the center of the village (this path is not suitable for less mobile people). There are beautiful walks in the area. We were here with a baby that went fine. In the baby carrier he went to the center, and dad carried the buggy. For crawling and running toddlers, the house is not advisable if you want them to play outside, because there is an open edge on the terrain where they might fall off. You can count on +200 euros extra of the deposit for the energy. The homeowner leads you to the location on arrival. The GPS does not know the last part. Given other comments I thought it would be a thrilling piece of touring, but that was not so bad. The last part is a tight, bumpy mountain path. Probably exciting when it rained a lot or there is snow, but we had beautiful weather. It is a little more expensive but you also get some highly recommended!

Friendly welcome, unfortunately I speak no French and the owner only French.Villa is beautifully situated, well maintained and fully voorzien.Enigste disadvantage is the narrow and steep access road, in winter periods only succeeds with a 4x4.Je looks over Malmedy and surroundings, via the stairs you are so in the center, which is equipped with many shops and fine restaurant. Communication is difficult only speaks French. The house needs the necessary maintenance on the outside and is certainly not suitable for small children and the elderly. All costs that come with it I find really too high, had to pay € 225 extra costs, also charged 15 € euros for the waste which is not mentioned. Center can be reached quickly via a path with stairs. Malmedy is a beautiful environment. We were here July 2018.

Nice house with beautiful views over the city of Malmedy. You also walk into the forest like that. When you do not like to walk in the mountains, there are plenty of opportunities to walk for hours in the High Fens on flat ground, both with dogs and without. Owner is very friendly and helpful, Pity that he only speaks French and no Dutch, German or English, so it was a bit difficult with my school frans, but I succeeded with some mutual patience. The house is neat and equipped with all comforts. Sleeping and bathrooms are neat and clean. Beds are excellent. Cupboard space is enough available.

We are very friendly and welcoming by the owner. The house is fully equipped with, among other things, a lovely pellet stove, TV with Netflix, nice kitchen and outside a lovely Jacuzzi. During our stay the jacuzzi broke down, but the next day an emergency jacuzzi was brought. Top,!!. Only problem for us were the many signs. We had to remove 4-5 sign every day. Great view and a great environment.
