Description
The holiday flat is located on the ground floor of the 2-family house and has a completely separate entrance area. In the entrance area you will find the separate toilet and the bathroom with shower and washing machine. Via 2 stairs you enter the living area with a spacious fitted kitchen and a spacious dining area. The living room is equipped with modern furniture and a satellite TV. The two bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds 2m x 1m. A baby cot is also available.

The well-equipped holiday flat is located in the district of Windeck-Imhausen directly on the edge of the forest, in the immediate vicinity of
the Hassel Buddhist monastery. A very beautiful forest and hiking area, ideal for mushroom pickers. The location is a good starting point for your activities, hiking, motorcycling, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, golfing, use of outdoor and indoor swimming pools nearby.
There is a petrol station with a kiosk in the village itself. Good restaurants with German and international cuisine can be found in the immediate vicinity (3-5 km). You can do your shopping in the shopping centre Rosbach, 4 km away. The railway stations Au/Sieg (3 km) and Rosbach/Sieg (4 km) can be reached.

The nearby Natursteig Sieg is, as befits a trail, a hiking trail that avoids wide paths, gravel roads and especially asphalt roads. Instead, the Natursteig Sieg often leads along small paths over the mountain ranges with ever more captivating views of the increasingly narrowing and meandering valley upstream that the Sieg has cut into the Rhenish Slate Mountains. One of the special features of the Natursteig Sieg is its excellent connection to the railway network. The route and stage layout have been chosen so that it is easy to travel to and from the trail by train via the Sieg Valley line. You can also reach the Marienthal Monastery with its entrance to the Westerwaldsteig via various access hiking trails.
A great experience is to cycle along the Sieg and the Rhine to Cologne!!!!!
The Windeck high ropes course is located at the Windeck-Rosbach sports park. Here, groups of 8 or more can safely climb to lofty heights and master various tasks together. Participant safety is ensured by a so-called top-rope system, and participants are guided by trained instructors to secure and encourage each other. Dates are to be arranged with Outdor-Oberberg.
The "kabelmetal" cultural centre, located in the Windeck-Schladern district, offers cultural variety during the week and at weekends with its rich programme of events. The nearby Windeck Castle and the Sieg Waterfall are a "must" for every visitor to the Windecker Ländchen.
The Panarbora amusement park is about 15 km away near Waldbröl. The heart of the nature adventure park is the 40 m high observation tower, from which you can enjoy an exhilarating view over the Bergisches Land. You get to North Rhine-Westphalia's longest and barrier-free treetop trail and discover nature from a completely new perspective. It takes us on a circular route through various tree vegetation zones.

Plum cake - yeast dough - with crumble!!! Absolutely perfect!!!
We, Margarete and I, were with Jutta and Dieter during the first week of September. We were warmly welcomed by Jutta and surprised with a "Zwetschgendatschi - yeast dough and streusel." Their kindness was genuine and very open. Everything fit perfectly and was ideal for us. The apartment offered plenty of space, with a great view. Those who love seclusion, enjoy hiking, and want to experience nature are exactly right here. For us, everything was perfect. Kindness and helpfulness are very important to Jutta. It felt like FAMILY. One felt at home.
We will definitely come back. Margarete and Konrad Paulus from the blue land (Murnau and surroundings with Staffelsee).

Clean and well-equipped holiday apartment
The accommodation is beautifully quiet and completely adequately equipped. Additionally, the accommodation is clean and offers enough space for 4 people.
The hosts are very warm-hearted!

Rustic beautiful holiday home
Were here for 9 days, very friendly landlord, helpful, quiet beautiful surroundings, good restaurants, sometimes a bit further away, 5-10 km, as well as grocery stores, a car or motorcycle is necessary.

Beautiful time, very great landlords
Actually, we were here from January 31, 2024 to February 4, 2024 and it was just beautiful.
We were received very well and shown everything in the house right away. The hallway is super spacious, our stroller and the kids' outdoor stuff fit in easily.
The rest of the house is cozy and very spacious, you can find everything you could wish for in the furnishings and everything you need for a nice family stay.
The contact before arrival was also top-notch. It was uncomplicated, friendly, and very helpful. All questions were answered in advance, so the arrival went smoothly.
The hospitality is outstanding, we were greeted with still warm muffins and even a play corner was set up for the children - our youngest could start playing right away while I unpacked the suitcases.
The cleanliness of the house is also worth mentioning, everything was spotlessly clean and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. You can tell that effort is still being made here.
The area is beautiful, we will definitely come back and then it will be this great holiday home again.

great family vacation
In the well-equipped, quiet holiday home located at the edge of fields and forests, with a wonderful view over the valley, for example from the kitchen with dining area, and its beautiful garden including a swing, sandpit, and other play equipment, as well as a lush chestnut tree, we felt very comfortable all around, from the 11-year-old daughter to the 85-year-old grandfather. The landlords not only spoiled us with homemade jam and wine, but were also very warm and uncomplicated overall. As a starting point for hiking and excursion tours in the Siegerland region, the house is very conveniently located and highly recommended overall!
