Vacation with Annoyances
After a long journey, we first had to make the beds (booked linen package). Then we struggled with a missing remote control for the TV. Called the landlord the next day. We were asked to search the entire apartment. Then the landlord finally came and ordered a new remote control from the shop in Bad Doberan. We had to pick it up ourselves on New Year's Eve because the landlord had no time. The armchair shown in the photos was not present. Unfortunately, on the day of departure, we forgot to pack clothing, as there was only a wardrobe in the children's bedroom. The bedroom only had a dresser. At home, we noticed the loss and immediately contacted the landlord. He was on vacation himself and wanted to secure the items. We agreed that we would transfer the postage for sending them. Now, after a month of silence, we called and were allegedly told that no clothing had been found. When my husband showed confusion, they became rather unfriendly and said that we must have taken the clothing without realizing it. What is this behavior? Sure, it was our fault, but the clothing doesn’t just disappear into thin air. And then to get sassy on the phone is unacceptable. We are not senile; we would notice if we were missing clothing items. If this is how guests are treated, I cannot recommend this vacation home service at all. It's a shame that this vacation will remain an unpleasant memory.

Wir bedauern sehr, dass unsere Gäste nicht den erhofft unbeschwerten Aufenthalt genießen konnten. Für die nicht auffindbare Fernbedienung haben wir schnell Ersatz beschafft und der Gast war dankenswerterweise sofort bereit, diese selbst abzuholen, da wir zum Lieferzeitpunkt abwesend waren.
Für den als unangebracht empfundenen Ton können wir uns nur entschuldigen und versichern, dass es nicht unsere Art ist, so mit Gästen zu kommunizieren. Die vermissten Kleidungsstücke haben wir bei unserer Nachkontrolle gefunden und kostenfrei an die Gäste zurückgesandt.
