Different from the others! With our sensitive architectural hand, we have transformed the light-flooded Hohenraunau holiday home from a farm into a spacious, robust and lively holiday home.
In the process, a unique ensemble of large and small rooms for living, sleeping, playing, eating and feeling good has been created from the original residential house with stable and barn and united under the more than 22-metre-long, continuous roof.
The cottage offers security and has 3 large rooms for living, playing and eating, 5 bedrooms, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, two bathrooms with shower and separate toilets as well as a covered veranda, an open sun deck and a 2,000m2 garden.

The Hohenraunau holiday home is located in the Middle Swabian village of the same name, Hohenraunau, with 269 inhabitants. It is situated on the southern slope of an elevation between the Kammeltal and the valley with the Krumbächle, in the midst of a charming environment of green forests, gentle hills, wide meadow valleys and baroque onion domes.
The town of Krumbach/Schwaben, the heart of the Swabian Baroque Corner, is only 4 kilometres away, and Legoland near Günzburg is just 30 minutes away by car.
Directions:
From Stuttgart via the A8 motorway to the Ulm-Elchingen junction, then take the A7 motorway towards Kempten to the Weißenhorn exit, overland to Krumbach and Hohenraunau.
From the direction of Munich via the A96 motorway to the Mindelheim exit, via the B16 to Niederraunau, then turn off to Hohenraunau.
From the direction of Würzburg via the A7 motorway in the direction of Kempten to the Weißenhorn exit, via the countryside to Krumbach and Hohenraunau.
From Nuremberg via motorway A8 to Günzburg exit, via B16 to Krumbach and Hohenraunau.

Great accommodation for large families
We were very excited about the fascinating and wonderfully furnished house! Cooking, playing, living, everything was a lot of fun for us, many heartfelt thanks! Rainy days are no problem thanks to the great facilities! We would love to come back!

Ideal place for our family weekend
For several years, we have been spending a joint family weekend with our adult children and their partners - this time in Hohenraunau. The property is simply ideal for families - in our case, 7 adults and a dog. Everyone could choose their cozy sleeping spot, and the large tables inside and under the covered area outside made extensive, relaxed meals in a cheerful group possible. There was nothing we were missing except for a few extra days in this wonderful accommodation, which was met with great enthusiasm by everyone. We would love to come back! ! ! !

Class Family Accommodation
As part of a family celebration, our family members were accommodated in the Hohenraunau house. 8 adults and 5 children, the youngest 2, the oldest 70, and everyone was thrilled with this house. Stylishly furnished and nothing was missing, one felt immediately at home. The large table for the shared meal with the whole family was simply brilliant for such a gathering. The outdoor area is very beautiful, the large sun terrace as well as the big outdoor space with the great view fascinated everyone. The many play options provided plenty of fun for young and old, there was never any boredom. Barbecuing, campfires, and cozy gatherings added to the experience. In short, days that everyone will fondly remember for a long time.

Beautiful holiday home
We spent 3 wonderful days at the holiday home Hohenraunau. We were 6 adults and 5 children. We have never encountered such a well-equipped house before. Everything was really available; we can't think of anything that was missing. We all enjoyed the huge property very much, our grandchildren were totally thrilled. The evening campfire was the highlight. The large dining tables inside and outside provided enough space for everyone; cooking and grilling took place. The restaurant and shopping suggestions were also very helpful. Everyone definitely wants to come back again.

25 years ago, this was our first project. A dream project for a young architect couple: Converting a farmhouse with barn into a holiday home for several families in Bavaria. 5 years ago we bought the house! So something we planned right that we still like it.... We enjoy spending time in the house with family and friends chilling, cooking, hiking, cycling or at the lake and in the forest. We have been sharing these experiences with loving guests for 5 years!

Auch Regentage sind dank der tollen Räumlichkeiten kein Problem!
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
Jeder Zeit würden wir dort wieder hingehen.
Es hat eine außergewöhnlich gute Ausstattung vorallem in der Küche. Auch Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Geschirrtücher etc. Ist alles vorhanden.
Es fehlt an nichts und man könnte ohne großes Gepäck anreisen.
Auch die Kommunikation der Eigentümer ist top. Alles in allem haben wir überhaupt nichts auszusetzen.
Gut eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden, auch an die Kinder ist gedacht, die den großen Garten sehr genossen haben.
Wir waren schon zweimal da, und es wird nicht das letzte Mal sein.
Wir waren pber Silvester mit 4 Familien in dem schönen Haus. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.
Die Kinder hatten viel Platz zum spielen.
Im Haus sieht es aus wie auf den Bildern.
Auch der Holzofen war ein Highlight für uns.
Wir können das Haus für Familien sehr empfehlen.
Das Haus, die überdachte Terrasse und der Garten haben unsere Erwartungen umfassend befriedigt, das Spielzimmer bot den Mädchen wunderbare Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten, man konnte dort am Tisch auch super gut basteln und die Großen konnten sogar die Nachrichten gucken.
Die beiden Bäder sind so groß, dass man problemlos auch mehrere Kinder fertigmachen kann und sie sind hell und jederzeit belüftbar. Dusch-, Hand- Geschirr- und Putztücher gibt es in Hülle und Fülle.
Toll war wirklich, dass die Kinder im Garten so viele Möglichkeiten hatten zu spielen und sich auszutoben und wir sie dabei aber sehr gut im Blick behalten konnten! ? Das Trampolin war der Renner, aber auch die Schaukel wurde gerne genutzt und die kleine Hütte wurde zum "Zwergenreich", in dem die vier Mädels stundenlang gespielt haben. Toll war auch das Holz im Schuppen, wir machten in der Silvesternacht damit ein Lagerfeuer für Stockbrot.
Leider war es morgens und später am Abend doch schon so kühl, dass es draußen nicht mehr angenehm war.
Die großzügige Bereitstellung von Handtüchern und Toilettenpapier, sowie Feuerholz ist ebenfalls besonders hervorzuheben. Die An-und Abreisezeiten sind besonders nutzerfreundlich, vor allem, wenn man mit einer größeren Gruppe da ist. Insgesamt können wir sagen, das Haus ist ein Juwel und wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.
Das Freibad in Krumbach ist sehr zu empfehlen und der Badeweiher ist ebenfalls super. Klar, dass auch ein Tag im Legoland sein musste. Wir waren rundum happy und zufrieden.
