Wonderful week in beautiful apartment. Madrid easily accessible by public transport. Beautiful nature area near for wonderful walks. The apartment is not very light. No sun on outside-place / balcony.

We had a very pleasant stay. The only downside, which for us was surely a downer is that there is very fresh due to the location (on a hill). Consequently, only in July / August the pool is open. We had booked this accommodation outside the city, just as we do with small children is very important the presence of a swimming pool. Outside breakfast was not there due to fris.Verder very pleasant stay, nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. We did everything ourselves have to find out because there was no one on the site.

The Escorial, Avila, Segovia and Madrid are easily accessible from this location. A car is a condition, because the apartment is located in a so-called urbanization of Galapagar and has few facilities. There is also a bus, but we did not use them. The hosts are extremely welcoming and we really felt at home in the apprtement. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the mountains.

We, man - woman, stayed at Casa Alegria from 9 / 20 September 2013. The house is situated at the highest point of the residence El Guijo at about 45 km from Madrid. The house is ideal for couples who love peace and culture. The owners John and Pilar did everything to make us. Stay as pleasant as possible Pilar was the last day a delicious Spanish tortilla for us. We greatly enjoyed the culture of the world heritage cities Avilar, Toledo and Segovia. The monastery / El Escorial palace is very close and wonderful to visit. We have made several walking tours in Madrid. And the nature of the Guadarrama Is beautiful and lovely to long walks. We did that in Penalara. The only minpuint of the house is on the terrace sun is barely making it quick is chilly. That will be in the summer months when the temperatures are higher, just a plus.

Nl Got to whole nine yards about how the TV was thus also broken bleek.Later nice chat with the owner, who, fortunately for us, as it was in Madrid and along came . Therefore, the SWIMMING and a broken chair a bit geregeld.Tv not. Mother lived below but we have not / hardly seen. Moreover, it had a good balcony .. while we between three closely spaced walls zaten.Binnen the house is cozy, (but need refurbishment .. including blinds partially broken) if the TV did not do it (is not repaired) and left the seating to be desired over.Dat latter applied for buiten.Kapotte chairs, umbrella and no very little space to sit. The pool is really nice + pool staff very aardig.Niks for us. We were able to go. Welcome back Nobody seen on departure.

We had a super fun, our children are 8, 13 and 17 to the next time back to Madrid. The special was that there was something for everyone to do. Although we had a car, the bus is a must. Directly in the center without parking. The house is perfect, with four bedrooms and two full baths! (And it is not designed as a typical "Rent Vacation" property) The kids had lot of fun with all the toys around the house. Fronton and Paddle was most special. Two ball sports where we read more about Google. The restaurant located at the house we 'Dorada a la sal "ordered. A show at the table and it tasted delicious! The nature around the house is special. We had a wonderful two week stay at the property. The place is located in a well taken care of gated community (El Guijo) with three pools,, two restaurants, and tennis courts about 30 minutes away from Madrid. The townhome is well taken care of and well equipped. It has amazing views of the Madrid mountains from the living room and outdoor terrace. The unit has no AC but opening the windows at night helped to keep the place cool. There’s no assigned parking space to the unit but we had no problems finding parking nearby on the street. The owner Pilar was really kind and easy to deal with. We would love to stay here again.

We booked this apartment as an alternative to an apartment in Madrid and that we really enjoyed. The apartment itself is tastefully furnished and equipped. It has a lovely and mostly spacious balcony with a nice view. The welcome was warm and welcoming.The apartment is located in a community with many amenities. There is a fine restaurant, a shop for fresh bread, swimming pools and various sports courts. But above all it is a departure point for exploring the beautiful surroundings and especially the Estorial, the Valley of the Fallen and beautiful cities such as Avila, Segovia and Toledo are easily accessible. And also the center of Madrid reach by bus in half uur.Kortom recommended for those who want to explore the beautiful interior of Spain from an atmospheric homely apartment.

For us, family with two children, was this surprising apartment a great place as a base to cities such as Segovia, Avila, Toledo and Madrid. After visiting a busy city it is very pleasure to come home in a fully furnished, spacious, neat, clean and warmly decorated apartment with fantastic views from a spacious balcony. In addition, the receipt of the hosts John and Pilar was extremely enjoyable and we could always appeal to all our questions. Although there is a bus 5 minutes walk is present to Madrid it is useful / necessary for you to have a rental car available. Especially if you want to visit other cities and seeing, aside Madrid.

It is from the edge of the area an excellent bus service (1/2 hour service) to Madrid, which eongeveer half an hour takes you to Madrid to the edge of the city center, with connecting buses, metro.Het apartment has a beautiful view from the terrace!

Casa Alegria is a nice terraced house approx 30 Km North-West of Madrid, the house has lovely views of the Sierra de Guadarrama, Valle de los Caidos (Valley of the Fallen) and Monasterio del Escorial. The house is nicely decorated inside and very clean, some of the fittings are in need of repair (i.e. a wooden curtain board that dropped in the middle of the night, a light switch that has no switch and is a hole in the wall and some electric sockets that are loose). The house is fairly well equiped, but some everyday electric appliances were missing, there was no microwave oven or no ironing or ironing board. We were -however- able to borrow an iron from the landlord. The landlord also kindly let us borrow some children's toys. There are two mountain bikes with children's seats on the back that can be used to explore the area as there are several cycle routes that can be followed. The housing estate is called El Guijo, it has a mixture of flats and terraced houses. It is surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. For sport lovers there are two big swimming pools and a smaller one for little children, several tennis courts, ping-pong tables and football and basketball pitches. Parking is a big problem in the area, there is not always space near the property and often we had to leave our car without visual reach from the house which was not ideal considering that we had to pack/unpack our suitcases. The roads are quite narrow in some places as a result of all the parked cars and it can be tricky to turn in some corners. I would worry about the access of emergency vehicles to the property. The estate seems to be very safe, there is security personnel at the entrance and it is completely enclosed. Please read the contract properly as there is an extra 75 Euro charge for cleaning on leaving the property which I find excessive considering the price of the rental.

Ok place if you are looking for tranquility, combined with the capabilities of a large city. Madrid is achieving very well with the bus a car you do not need. This is a note to share our experience at "Casa Alegria". It truly was a pleasure meeting the owners of this lovely chalet. The home was magnificent with the many amenities as well as an incredible view of the mountains and the city. It's location is absolutely perfect within a private, guarded residental community which provided many assests; pools, restaurant, pharmacy,etc. Also, we were so close to many of the enjoyable nearby towns. During our stay, we visited El Escorial, Los Callidos, Segovia, Valencia, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba and of course many visits to Madrid. Truly a spectacular vacation that our family will remember and cheerish forever. We plan to visit again in the future.

The apartment is located on a hill in a residential area surrounded by beautiful scenery. We toured by car through the countryside and visited the beautiful cities Escoril and Segovia. Additionally, visited the center of Madrid. Exactly what we wanted. The owners of the apartment are open and nice. Think it is important that you go home with a happy feeling. The apartment is suitable for a family with small children. Has a spacious balcony overlooking the beautiful countryside. Also an ideal place to rest. Enough reading, multimedia and large bathtub. Are you a lover of culture and want to enjoy the scenery then this is ideal. You do need a car. There is also a bus service to the center of Madrid, but we ourselves do not use them. Recommended!

The accommodation was very nice. The terrace was lovely with views of the mountains and small villages in the distance. Everything was in bed available. There was a bus that drove very frequently a separate bus lane to Madrid. In three minutes you were in the center. El escorial was reached by car in fifteen minutes. Also well located for trips to Toledo and Avila.

For example the covered porch. In addition, the main room did not have blinds and the blinds were not opaque enough to block the light. Otherwise everything was perfect.
