We have already been to this holiday home for the 3rd time. The location and the garden are perfect for us. Unfortunately, the furnishings have become very outdated. The whole house lacks some care. The corners, especially around the windows, are full of old cobwebs. The upper right window in the bedroom no longer closes; it opens with the wind, and rain also gets into the room this way. The joints in the bathroom have now turned quite a large part black and the drainage of the very small sink is inadequate. The faucet is loose and the countertop around the sink is in poor condition. The floor was indeed swept clean, but when I wiped up some spilled water on the first evening, the cloth was black. I would like to come back to this really beautiful house, but unfortunately not like this anymore.

After we already spent a lovely week in the holiday home in January 2015, we were back there in June. We enjoyed the peace and the beautiful unobtrusive decor. The location is perfect for trips by train to Sylt (from nearby Klanxbüll), by ferry to the islands of Föhr and Amrum, to the Halligen, by car to the Nolde Museum, to Denmark (Tønder and Rømø), Flensburg, etc. Great! Those who appreciate the tranquility and expansiveness of the landscape and enjoy encountering more sheep than people are perfectly placed here.

Everything went well, unfortunately the freezer compartment is defective, which is quite important since the next store is a bit far away. However, the landlords were attentive.

If you want to escape from everyday life, then book this house... it's a dream. The tranquility and nice people around are indescribable. You only hear the bleating of sheep and in the evening the frogs. Idyllic pure!!! The house offers everything your heart desires... small downside, a new sofa would be great, this one was pretty worn out ;) Maybe even one that can be pulled out, then a third person could join :) If you have a chat with Mr. Hansen at the fence, you'll learn a lot about the small village of Horsbüll. Thanks to Mrs. Knaak, she made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We will come back and have already recommended it.

A very nice, well-kept and well-equipped holiday home for 2 people. You can find peace and gather your thoughts. The area is free from tourist crowds. To explore the beautiful landscape, you need to be mobile. The open sea is a few kilometers away due to the embankment. A suggestion for improvement and optimization: "In-house bicycles". Reason: the daily rental in Klanxbüll is time-consuming and expensive (9 € per day + 3 € insurance). It is not always possible to ride every day during a weekly rental (weather, condition). We were very satisfied, the holiday home is recommended!

The Old School Horsbüll is located slightly off the beaten path of the well-known tourist spots. Nevertheless, these can be quickly reached. The peace and seclusion are perfect to balance out the hectic everyday life. Plenty of excursions can be planned in the surrounding area. Denmark, Sylt, and Föhr are easily and quickly accessible. The house is very tastefully furnished and offers everything needed to have a wonderful time. Shopping options are nearby. The garden is great. Large and fenced in (our Dachshund found it perfect). We were here in March, but could spend a few sunny hours on the garden bench. There are furniture in the garden house for the summer months. We immediately felt at home, everything was perfectly prepared, and we quickly got in touch with a few neighbors. There are some beautiful walking paths around the village. We can recommend this house to anyone who values beautiful furnishings, plenty of space, and tranquility.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place. The house is located in a small village opposite the church. Beautiful small garden with old trees and completely fenced in. Our dog loved it. The neighbors are also very nice and friendly.
The house has everything you need and is nicely furnished. What is a bit of a shame is the lack of mosquito nets on the windows. There are a lot of mosquitoes on site, which makes the nights a bit exhausting. The couch is extremely worn out and therefore uncomfortable. However, that is really the only thing that was not optimal. Nevertheless, we would come back at any time.
