Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem, großem Garten, schöner Einrichtung und nettem Friesen-Flair. Nachteile: weit vom Schuss. Zur nächsten Badestelle sind es 5 km mit dem Auto. Ein Abendspaziergang auf dem Deich ist auch nur mit Auto möglich. Die Häuser sind umgeben von Sickergruben und kleinen Tümpeln. Dadurch unglaublich viele Stechmücken. Das Haus hat keine Fliegengitter. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen ist aber keine Option, denn es wird schnell sehr heiß in den kleinen Räumen. Man hat also keine Wahl als sich nachts völlig zerstechen zu lassen. Insbesondere mit Kleinem Kind ist das sehr unangenehm. Die Betten haben eine Plastikunterlage und man schwitzt fürchterlich. Die Mängel waren echt schade und haben uns etwas den Urlaub vermiest. Dabei könnte der Vermieter sie leicht beheben. Sehr schade

Die Ausstattung ist gut, speziell die Küche ist umfangreich ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Was uns störte, war der leicht muffige Geruch im Haus sowie der Abwasser-Geruch im unteren Badezimmer. Außerdem wurde es im Haus, speziell im oberen Stockwerk nicht warm. Die Heizkörper waren teilweise nur lauwarm. Das war im oberen Badezimmer besonders störend. Man sagte uns auf Nachfrage zwar, dass die Einstellung 1 heiß sei, und die Einstellung 5 kalt, aber auch das half nichts. Egal welche Einstellung wir wählten, der Heizkörper wurde nur lauwarm. Im Wohnzimmer hatten wir dieses Problem durch den Holzofen nicht.

We had a lovely vacation. There was a lot to discover, especially for children. The rooms were lovingly furnished. There was plenty of dishes available. The living room is well laid out for a large group. The only downside was a musty smell coming from the door frame in the first room on the left, ground floor. This should be fixed. Hello, we stayed in Rike's holiday home with 10 adults and a toddler. We felt very comfortable there. The house is really cozy, spacious, and tastefully furnished. It was also nice that a baby cot was available. A changing table might be a good addition. Otherwise, the house is equipped with everything you need. The location is very idyllic and the neighbors were also very nice. We had a few very nice days and are happy to recommend the holiday home.

The house is very personal, lovingly and tastefully decorated. It offered our group of friends/knitters plenty of space to spread out. The wood was ready to be lit in the fireplace and on the second day a bouquet of daffodils suddenly appeared on the terrace for us. We felt very comfortable! The only point of criticism is the very long way to the shops - but that is complaining on a very high level.

I had a family reunion, 5 // 73 years old, 2 dogs. The accommodation was perfect for it, with 7 bedrooms, 2 showers, 1 bath, several passage rooms, functional kitchen and large living room with terrace. The garden, mostly green, is a dream. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly.

This choice was a bull's eye: We enjoyed our family short holiday in "Rike's holiday home" very much and can recommend it without hesitation. The house is tastefully furnished, very spacious with bright rooms and an unconventional layout. In the evenings, the cosy wood-burning stove provided a pleasant warmth. The only thing we missed was one or two kitchen utensils. With three generations - from 21 to 88 years - we felt really comfortable here. And the support by the nice Mrs Christiansen with questions and problems was exemplary. The crowning glory of all was the weather: having breakfast on the sunny terrace every day at this time of year and spending many hours among the roses and apple tree was a delight.

Anytime again....as a family of 6 with two children 13 years and 9 years, as well as two children 3 years and 2 years, including dog and an additional accompanying person, we were completely satisfied. There is enough space and room, the rooms are big enough, everything is very lovingly furnished. Of course, if you like the cosy country house style. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, except perhaps for a missing small clothes horse. Excursion destinations and shopping facilities are easy to reach and allow for daily activities.

We stayed with the whole family incl. 2x grandma & grandpa and dog for a long weekend in the beautiful house. The house is very well equipped with everything you need. The room layout is also great! We received a very friendly and warm welcome and the "return" went very smoothly. The house is in a very quiet location, about 3 km from a small shop and a bakery (I think). If you want a bit more hustle and bustle, you have to drive the 10 km to Niebüll, but since we came by car, it was no problem for us. The garden is very beautiful and in summer you can definitely spend a relaxing day there! All in all it was a very nice weekend in a very nice cosy house! Thank you again!

We had 10 great days in a beautiful house that still has its original flair and yet is up to date. The garden invites you to relax and unwind. If you are looking for peace and quiet with friends and/or family, you will find it here. But it is also not far to visit small towns or the nearby islands.

This holiday home has an interesting room layout and is especially suitable for larger families. It is quite well equipped (almost completely). The overall impression is not sterile, but one of character and charm. The beautiful, somewhat wild garden, which is also a play paradise for smaller children, contributes to this impression. The location of the holiday home can be described as quiet, but requires mobility to explore the tourist surroundings as far as Sylt, Denmark and the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately, the bathing possibilities nearby are quite limited. For families with children, the presence of a clothes horse (or a tumble dryer) would be useful. The clothesline in the garden is not sufficient in wet weather. The cleaning crew should have a look under the beds and in the corners of the ceiling and floor. As mentioned in other reviews, the smell in the house is unpleasant from time to time. Since it is a house from the beginning of the 20th century, the slightly dull smell is acceptable and can be reduced by consistent airing. In our opinion, the septic tank is the main shortcoming in terms of odour perception. The septic tank appears to be undersized when used by many residents in particular, which means that there are corresponding negative odours in the house. All in all, we (5 adults, 5 children aged 1-13, 2 dogs) enjoyed our stay in the holiday home and would recommend Haus Rike to others.

Our family has been going to the north, especially Denmark, and booking holiday homes for more than 20 years. We booked this house for the first time in February 2018 and arrived with our adult children, grandson and grandma by plane and rental car. Despite the delay, the communication with the house owner and the manager was excellent. We arrived late and found a welcoming home. The lights on and in the house were on, so it was easy to find your way around. The house was preheated and warm, the tiled stove was lit, firewood was lying next to it and a bouquet of flowers greeted us. The room layout was no problem despite the size of our family (four generations). Everyone could move into a separate area. No one felt disturbed by the others. The beds were made, more than enough towels were available, and the kitchen is more than adequately stocked with all useful utensils; nothing was missing. The cleanliness of the house and its furnishings deserves special mention; this is all the more to be admired as it is not a sterile new building and the furnishings have been individually and tastefully designed with many accessories in a cosy way. We deliberately chose a quiet location close to the sea and we were not disappointed. Niebüll is close enough to do all the shopping. Finally, we would like to emphasise the extremely friendly and obliging manner of the manager and the owners. Not only can we fully recommend this house, we are definitely planning to book again next year.

We liked the house and the whole complex with the wonderful garden very much. We celebrated a birthday there as a large family (11 people). Garden furniture, crockery etc. were all abundant, kitchen very well equipped, rooms and bathrooms are very nice. The weather was unexpectedly nice for May and we were able to use the garden and the beautiful terrace - we didn't expect it - but there was enough garden furniture for everyone. Even in bad weather we could have felt comfortable in the house, but without a car we could not do much. Walk on the dyke OK, everything else with car no problem, Sylt from Klanxbüll station by train, Nolde Foundation / Museum etc. offer nice destinations. It was not easy to find restaurants in the area - at least in the pre-season - some were closed. We should not forget to mention the extremely friendly service from the first mail to the handing over of the keys to the good-humoured cleaning crew at the end - everyone was totally relaxed.

This is a very very beautiful house. Decorated with so much attention to detail. Simply beautiful. We were there with 7 people and felt very comfortable. There are so many possibilities to get out of the way. The 3 TV corners alone are very nice. Our dog also felt very comfortable in the garden, which was also so beautifully laid out. The surroundings also invite you to relax and find peace. Lots of beautiful countryside and the opportunity to really relax. Simply perfect.

Positive : -The house offered enough space for our extended family including grandparents, the rooms were nicely furnished and the garden offered space to play and romp. -Everything we needed was there (except that the dryer and washing machine needed to be replaced/dryer didn't work properly and was smelly,washing machine was incredibly loud) -the house manager was always on hand to help with any problems and was very keen to find a solution! Negative: -we found both the location of the house (completely out of the way) and this part of the North Sea coast. There are no sandy beaches here on the coast, if we wanted one we had to take the ferry to the islands of Sylt and Föhr, and that's not exactly cheap... And the surrounding area was not very productive if you wanted to do something with smaller children. -What was very unpleasant were the mice in the house.the house manager gave us some mousetraps,with which we also caught a mouse,but unfortunately that was not the only one.... If you like the seclusion,the house is recommended.We would not want to book it again with children.

We (multi-generational holiday) felt very comfortable in this house with its beautiful garden. You can also withdraw from time to time, as there are so many lovingly furnished rooms, but also rooms that are big enough to spend time together. In the garden anyway. For us it was optimal. If one could criticise something, then at most that one/two sharp kitchen knives would have been nice and unfortunately the kitchen work surfaces are a bit too small if you want to cook for more than 10 people. But that should really be understood as a minor point of criticism. Tip to the landlords: one or two clothes drying racks would be nice. Otherwise a TOPHAUS in which we felt completely comfortable. We had a very nice holiday in a lovingly furnished farmhouse from 1900. The feel-good factor was there in any case! There was really nothing lacking. You noticed right away that over the years there has been a real, well-chosen collection, just like in your own home. The house is wonderfully secluded, between green meadows and dikes full of sheep. When you arrive here, your holiday starts right away. The large, enclosed garden makes a relaxing stay complete. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to use the terrace, but the old apple tree provided us with delicious fruit to compensate. Our family numbered 9 people and 2 small dogs, yet we always had enough space. In itself, everything was perfect for us! (The only drawback was the smell of the septic tank at the house, which also permeated the 2 toilets on the ground floor. However, this subsided when it started to rain in torrents over 3 days. Also, the access to the entrance of the house would need to be better thought out. The old paving stones are beautiful and not at all the problem, but rather the liquid (not water!) that sought its way there. It also smelled musty in the house) All in all, we had a great, unforgettable holiday and can recommend Rike's holiday home.
