Tolles Haus, sehr gemütlich, Umgebung super, es gibt viel zu entdecken und zu besichtigen. Außerdem kann man tolle Radtouren in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung unternehmen.

Für 4 Erwachsene Personen sollten auch 4 richtige Betten da sein. Ansonsten würde ich jederzeit wieder gerne in diesem Haus Urlaub machen.

We (my son and I) spent almost 5 weeks for hunting training at the Langenhöft hunting school and stayed in Ostenfeld for that. The house "Zur Sandkuhle" became a second home during this time. We really enjoyed the time, it was the perfect setting for us, and despite the season, we had a great time. The house is rustic and from around 1850, but the furnishings are modern. We even got to meet the owner :) If we were to do hunter training again, we would immediately stay here again.

We spent 2 lovely weeks in Ostenfeld at the beginning of August. Despite the changeable weather, we were able to take trips to the North and East Sea. The holiday home is only 15 minutes away from Husum and we were very satisfied. The old thatched farmhouse has a special charm. Also nice is the garden right behind the house, which our dog enjoyed running around freely. Everything you need is provided in terms of equipment. Bed linen and towels were provided, it would have been desirable, especially because a dishwasher is available, that more cutlery and more plates, maybe even 4 champagne glasses, would have been available. But ultimately, these are just minor things. Edeka with a bakery and post office were within walking distance, all in a quiet residential area. Lovely trips to Schleswig, Flensburg, Kiel, St. Peter Ording, with a detour to the old harbor in Tönning. Also highly recommended is a visit to the Wild Moor with a nature trail in Winnert and the Ostenfeld farmhouse in Husum. You can't really pass up on the Husumer Krabben Brötchen and if you're lucky and there happens to be a flea market at the harbor in Husum, you should definitely check it out. Our conclusion: We would love to come back again sometime!

Quiet, quiet, quiet. Black night with many stars. Cozy little house. We were missing an egg cup, 1-2 cutting knives and maybe champagne glasses to toast on New Year's and a few wine glasses. Possibly also a new toilet brush (leaking a bit). The duvets could be a bit thicker in the cold season. Otherwise everything was OK, simple but just right for us. We would love to come back. "A beautiful house that is very quiet. Much nicer than the pictures suggest. It is equipped with everything you need, and when you have breakfast in the kitchen in the morning, you occasionally get visits from a field hare hopping through the garden. We felt really "at home" and even our dogs didn't want to get into the car when we left ;-)".

Everything described was found as such. We would actually only recommend the sleeper sofa for 2 children or adolescents. However, we always drove 20 minutes to the beach in Husum. We were really lucky with the weather and were able to relax well from that perspective.

Our 9-day vacation in February was very cozy and relaxing (2 people and a dog). The house is located on a quiet side street and despite that, the walk to the baker and shopping at Edeka was quickly done on foot. The bakery is also open on Sunday mornings. A small cheese factory completes the offer. From here we could quickly drive to the North Sea by car, but also to Husum or Schleswig, for example. We would love to come back.
