It is a very nice beach-close apartment. The steep stairs in the stairwell and in the apartment take some getting used to. The balcony is a bit small, but sufficient for 2 people.

The location is great, just a short distance to the beautiful beach. The apartment is optimally equipped, the living room is spacious enough, with the sofa and two armchairs comfortable for a cozy evening at home. The kitchen couldn't be better, everything is well thought out. Plenty of dishes and cutlery, good pots and pans, a capsule coffee machine and (which I found optimal) a conventional coffee machine that automatically turned off after brewing, and the pot was a thermal carafe. Also very well thought out! A slight disadvantage was the beds, but due to the room size, it couldn't be resolved differently. In one room, you hit your feet against the wall because it was positioned in a niche. Completely adequate for children, but somewhat poor for adults. In the other room with a double bed, you had to crawl over the foot of the bed to get in and out. The stairs up to the bedrooms were, as is often the case on Sylt, dangerously steep.

A slight downside were the beds, due to the size of the rooms it was not possible to have them any other way. In one room, you bumped your feet against the wall because it was in a niche. Completely sufficient for children, but a bit inconvenient for adults. In the other room with a double bed, you had to crawl in and out of bed over the foot end.
The stairs up to the bedrooms, as is often the case on Sylt, were dangerously steep.
