We have been coming to Sylt for 17 years now. Always the same apartment. Now children are briefly visiting. The central location, the furnishings, the surroundings, you know each other. An annual welcome greeting at home. We do not want to miss that. We are grateful for it.

We really liked the apartment. It is very beautiful and nicely furnished. Everything you need was available. Only the stairs to and in the apartment were a bit cumbersome, especially transporting the luggage upstairs.

The apartment is typical for Sylt. Either it is on the ground floor with a basement half underground, or on the 1st floor with a room in the attic with a lot of slant like in this case. The "staircase" to the attic resembles a chicken ladder. It is not possible to bring heavy luggage upstairs; you should do it in parts. But that's all there is to criticize. Location, amenities, and ambiance are very nice.

The apartment is well equipped; dishes, etc. are sufficiently available. The location is great; the beach, shops, and restaurants are easily accessible. The bathroom is relatively new; however, the furniture in the living room, especially the armchair, has aged. The double bed had to be converted into one, resulting in a ridge in the middle. We have a small child who sometimes comes to visit at night, hence the note. We also "underestimated" what the indication "smoking apartment" means. In any case, the smell bothered us quite a bit, but the mistake is of course ours. We have been to Sylt many times, but we had never had a domicile in Wenningstedt. Therefore, we also dealt with the landlord for the first time. The handling was impeccable; there is nothing to complain about. There were enough towels available, and the apartment was clean.
