Fattoria di Bacchereto/Casa la Fioraia: The photos are a few years old and make a more authentic impression than reality. There is sometimes a fine line between rustic and neglected: the holiday home or the entire property may have potential, but it is not kept in good condition. The palm trees are long gone, as is the green lawn. There are some haunted spots - an old water lily pond, an old chapel, a half fallen climbing tree, a lovely gazebo, inside a cozy fireplace area, slipcover sofas, some nice old wooden furniture, the whitewashed ceiling on the ground floor. But the overall impression is rather unkempt. The wine, the hydrangeas and the many small dogs are taken care of, because of which one should keep all the little gates closed. Impressive (in a positive sense) is the upper bedroom, imposing due to the room and window size with its huge, heavy shutters... Our criticism relates in particular to the bathrooms and is not a question of taste. The shower in the small "bathroom" adjoining the small bedroom on the ground floor is as unsightly as it is useless. There is a risk of injury from cracked, unattached floor tiles, and the water pressure is completely insufficient to get really wet at all. One waits in vain for warm water, we gave it up. So it's not surprising that "big business" can't even be washed down there. In the large bathroom, warm showers are taken, but without a shower curtain, the bathroom is flooded if you don't want to squat down. The faucet is leaking, the controls simply fall off if you're not careful, the bathroom and kitchen are even uglier than the photos of the seller suggest, the joints, tiles and the entire bathroom arouse nothing but disgust. One wonders whether one really gets underneath it or rather more dirty. The electrics are ancient, many sockets are dead, just a lot of light switches

The house radiates character and is very authentic but above all it is a beautiful domain and quietly located. The decor of the house is beautiful but basic. The pool was perfect (certainly with the high temperatures). The friendly neighbor gave us the explanation about the house but spoke only Italian (and we did not) but we understood perfectly each other. Ideal for excursions in Tuscany. There are no stores in Bacchereto. You must be in Carmignano (small coop and a very nice gelateria)

Beautiful large house in Tuscan style in a real Tuscan landscape surrounded by olive trees and grapes. The garden there was also beautiful. The pool was more than adequate in size and, very importantly, clean.

Pros. Great environment. Beautiful accommodation. Spacious house. Very atmospheric. Friendly people. Lots of outdoor space. Good starting point for city visits to the many historic cities in the area. Lunch on Sunday is highly recommended. REST !!! Negatives of a practical nature. In the kitchen basic needs like pepper salt and oil are not present. Is indeed a point in more rental houses. The hot water supply must be improved. There is only very limited. One shower is the capacity. then wait two hours for the next one. Little effort to improve that. Internet both via wifi very moderate. The mobile phone range too. For some a blessing. For me a decent limitation. All in all a must!

Beautiful cottage in a historic location. Huge luxury with the pool next door and a beautiful garden. The only drawback are the many tiger mosquitoes (but there is little that can be done about that) and the somewhat outdated bed. Recommended is the wine tasting with guided tour.
