The holiday apartment is comfortably and modernly furnished. The bathing beach is only 50 m away and slopes very gently into the sea, making it very suitable for children. The fine sandy Baltic Sea beach is 1 km away. The sunny terrace with sea view and beach chair invites you to linger and relax. The holiday apartment "Sanddorn" is a non-smoking apartment. A high chair and a travel cot are available for small guests. The windows are equipped with insect screens. A washing machine is available free of charge. There is a large private parking space directly at the property. Dogs are welcome (fee €7.50 per dog per night). Shopping facilities and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. There are excellent cycling and hiking opportunities to explore the island. Only 80 m away is a jetty for boat trips to Hiddensee, and about 250 m away is the water sports school "Rügen-Piraten", where you can also rent equipment for kayaking, SUP, sailing, kiting, and windsurfing. Riding opportunities 5 km away at the "Pferdezentrum Balance" and 10 km away at the "Reiterhof-Schwarbe" with Bodden rides and pony leading for the little ones complete the offer.

In your holiday domicile, in the former fishing and today's resort town of Dranske, you can take advantage of various leisure activities. Windsurfing, surfing, kiteboarding, sailing, SUP or kayaking are just as possible as horseback riding, fishing, cycling and hiking. The Bodden beach with its wide range of water sports and the ferry pier of the White Fleet with a connection to the island of Hiddensee can be reached in 5 minutes on foot.
An 8-minute walk north of the property takes you to the kilometre-long, beautiful, wildly romantic natural beach. Here the little ones can splash around safely in the shallow water while they simply enjoy the peace and quiet and the beauty of nature. They can end the evening in convivial company while watching a beautiful sunset.
Small cafés, restaurants and a large supermarket round off the offer of places to stay.
When exploring the coastal landscape, with its high coast, you still come across unspoilt beaches. You get the impression that you have been transported back to prehistoric times - after the Ice Age.

Beautiful small holiday apartment with great lagoon view
The holiday apartment Sanddorn in Dranske is a nice small holiday apartment with a beautiful view of the Bodden. It is completely sufficient in terms of space for a family. Everything is adequately available. There is enough space in the bathroom and the kitchen, as well as on the terrace. Only in the bedrooms are the beds extremely high and the mattresses rock hard. This is not so comfortable for smaller children and not quite so large adults. Our son fell out of bed several times. Fortunately, we had placed an air mattress next to the bed. In the photos of the vacation apartment, you can't see the height of the bed.

Everything you need and more
An incredibly perfectly furnished holiday apartment that leaves nothing of the usual holiday apartment coldness behind. Very cozy, super clean and everything is there, right down to the egg slicer and clean (!) cuddly blankets for the sofa. Despite the few square meters, all rooms have a great size, so that even a family can get along well. Not to forget - the terrace with a view of the Bodden and even a beach chair is ready.
