You can choose from a number of different types of accommodation at holiday resort Tusken de Marren. They've got one thing in common though: they all enjoy a waterfront setting. The comfortably furnished chalet (NL-8491-10) is suitable for 4 guests and has a nice veranda. The lodges come in a 4-person (NL-8491-11) and a 6-person (NL-8491-12) variety. They were designed to be completely energy-neutral homes. The two-storey holiday homes consist of 4-person (NL-8491-13), 6-person ((NL-8491-14) and 8-person (NL-8491-15) accommodations. These spacious homes are also equipped with all modern comforts. The 6-person homes are set on an open waterway, offering nice views of the many boats passing by. The 8-person accommodations consist of homes with 4 bedrooms (1 with en-suite bathroom) on the first floor, and others with 3 bedrooms on the first floor and 1 bedroom (with bathroom) on the ground floor. All 8-person holiday homes are equipped with a charging point for electric bikes.
All accommodations have their own jetty and the terraces are comfortably furnished.

Tusken de Marren leisure park is a great location for water sport enthusiasts. Feel free to bring your own boat along, since allmost all accommodations at this holiday park come with their own dock. If you don't have a boat of your own, you can simply rent one here. The park is directly connected to the Sneekermeer and many other lakes both large and small. The quaint village centre of Akkrum offers lots of charm and history, with no fewer than 21 national monuments. Heerenveen (about 15 km away), Leeuwarden (about 20 km) and Drachten (about 25 km) are also very attractive and well-known cities that are within easy reach here in the province of Friesland. And of course the beautiful surrounding area is perfect for exploring on foot or bicycle. If you're looking for a holiday with plenty of variety in a top water sport location then Tusken de Marren leisure park is the place for you.
Tusken de Marren leisure park can be found in the Netherlands' premier water sport province. The direct access to a number of (large) lakes and the variety of attractive cities just a short distance away make this a fantastic location.

Small-scale park, neat houses. Lots to see and do in the area. Rented a boat, planetarium in Franeker, Harlingen, Sneek, Grou….

Surprised by the beautifully decorated clean house and for us the perfect location on the water with passing boats, boats and boats !!

It's wonderful, but the house we rented is very dirty on arrival. Wasn't cleaned. It is less that you first have to clean everything on arrival. At one point we stopped and didn't start and became discouraged. Reported to reception and offered a sincere excuse and also to clean it, but because we had already done this for a large part, no longer needed.
Also crockery broken and lots of lights.
The place is fantastic, rented a boat for the whole period wonderful.
So if the house had been clean a big 10.
People at the reception very nice too.
Highly recommended in terms of location.

Cottage was fine, holiday park was fine and staff was prima.Minder was the furniture. Bed / mattress sagged, living room sofa tired with bald spots and some lamps / pears were broken.

Beautiful detached house in a park around the water. A true paradise for water (sports) enthusiasts. We have rented a sloop from Drijfveer, an absolute must. Everywhere we went we received a friendly and hospitable welcome. Had a nice stay where we will definitely come back.
