In the small-scale Chalet park Kroondomein Giethoorn you can find several types of chalets that are quite similar, but possibly have just that specific property you are looking for. The 4-pers. Beulaker (NL-8355-33) and 4-pers. 't Wiede (NL-8355-34 with bunk bed) have an attractive open terrace. One of the two bedrooms can be provided with two single beds or one bunk bed. The 4-pers. Kleine Belter (NL-8355-35) and the 4-pers. Grote Belter (NL-8355-36, which is slightly larger) both have a covered veranda. Type 't Wiede (NL-8355-37) is suitable for 6-pers. which is why it has three bedrooms. All versions are situated by the water and some have a mooring place. Whatever type suits you best, you always have a garden with garden furniture.

Chalet park Kroondomein Giethoorn is situated in one of the most attractive spots of Giethoorn. This small-scale holiday park lies directly by lake Bovenwijde. The canals most chalets are situated by provide direct access to the lake. You can therefore hire boats (no navigation licence required) that you can moor in front of your chalet if you want. With its many characteristic bridges and canals, Giethoorn is a very unique place. The holiday park lies in the car-free centre of Giethoorn and can be reached via one of the bridges. You can park your car for a fee in a central nearby car park that is closed off with barriers. You will receive your parking card on the spot. From Giethoorn you have numerous possibilities for taking wonderful bike and hiking trips through National Park Weerribben-Wieden. Bikes can also be rented in the park. Several cosy restaurants are also at walking distance from the holiday park. Chalet park Kroondomein Giethoorn is situated in a delightfully relaxing, but versatile location in a historic place!

The holiday park was manageable and well maintained, the caretakers of the park were very friendly and always helpful. The environment, especially in the tourist area Giethoorns was a feast for the eyes. The high proportion of foreigners, especially from Arab countries of origin was a deterrent.

Unfortunately, the house was getting a bit old. The mosquito nets in front of the window are almost all broken, the pots and knives could also be replaced, the shower head loose, mold in the joints. The wood of the terrace was unfortunately a bit splintered when walking barefoot. The rear terrace full of nettles. It's actually a shame, because the house on the lake / on the canal is basically beautiful. The place is picturesque, but unfortunately, traffic jams on the water are also not uncommon. The lake is great, exploring the area by boat was very nice.
