October 2025 We had a nice weekend with our family because we made it enjoyable together. We were 18 people. Enough space to sleep. With more people it would become very crowded. Beautiful surroundings, lovely garden. Unfortunately, we had rain which meant we couldn't really enjoy being outside. Unfortunately, we do have some comments about the house. What a pity that the shed where the billiards table is located is so messy and not maintained. There is a broken old bar table and a broken professional refrigerator. It didn't really entice us to spend a cozy time here. There is really more to be made of this. The kitchen and bathrooms are very outdated. The kitchen cabinets are worn out, the refrigerator doesn't close properly, and there is unnecessary clutter in various baskets. A lot of cutlery and kitchen utensils but no small knives. In the bathroom, the mirror is peeling, and the lights don't work. Too bad! The bedroom opposite the living room has a broken wardrobe. When opening the door, it fell out. In short, the house could use some renovation! Tip: the chairs make a lot of noise when sliding over the tiled floor. It would be nice if felt pads were placed under them. Especially for the people sleeping in the basement.

Fantastic location, very spacious house and extensive kitchenware, quiet. A few downsides: unpleasant smell in the basement (ventilation?), loose sockets, jacuzzi doesn't work! Nice covered lounge fireplace but the smoke came more from the roof than from the chimney! The billiard room (garage box) provided hours of fun but is unkempt (billiard ball was missing). Conclusion: House with fantastic possibilities but needs a bit of love.

The villa is a bit of faded glory. Broken furniture and the house is not clean. Dead flies in the bedrooms and bugs in the bath! And that is quite remarkable because you have to pay €200 for cleaning costs. Then you should expect it to be clean, right? These cleaning costs and the costs for the linen package plus a deposit of €500 must be paid in cash! In our case, this was over €900 that you have to bring as cash. No other payment option is offered. Subsequently, after multiple messages from my side, the deposit is refunded via the bank only 10 days later. Not really guest-friendly. For us, this villa has therefore not been a success. We will not come back here.

The trampoline was a bit messy, but good to use after cleaning. Sufficient kitchen facilities: unfortunately the coffee machine did not work! And indicate in the description that you should take tablets with you for the dishwasher. Unfortunately, the safety scored an insufficient: the mandatory smoke detector was in a drawer, but there were no batteries in it! (Recently: punishable!!). Cleaning is reasonable: behind some beds there was residual waste from previous occupants. And a couch that is "broken" is not a couch! The previous tenants had left the residence so dirty that the cleaning lasted longer than had been taken into account, as a result, we could only enter the bungalow more than an hour later as had been agreed. We then found a clean bungalow, but the dishes were (still) so dirty that we first washed everything. Due to Corona, a few visitors dropped out, luckily afterwards, it would have been very full / busy if the number was maximum number of adults (in accordance with the statement on the website) would have been present. We had a request for multiple dogs may stay there and that was no problem. The (free) firewood we frequently used in the fireplace. There we spent hours at 5 degrees in the evenings. We have a long weekend and have 30 people to our excellent sense. We were from 2/5 November before and the weather was not exactly with it but still great fun. The hospitality was great class. We had a request for multiple dogs may stay there and that was no problem. The (free) firewood we frequently used in the fireplace. There we spent hours at 5 degrees in the evenings. Had a wonderful stay with a group of friends and their families. The house was well equipped for a large group. There was also plenty to do outside with a nice fire pit. We would definitely go back again.

Very spacious house where we took 11 people wide choice of bedrooms and therefore had plenty of privacy. Too bad the weather we could not enjoy the garden, which must in spring and summer are wonderful to play, sit and eat. We had a fantastic Ascension weekend with the family (30 people) in Scots pine. The house is fully equipped, good beds and bathrooms, nice terraces with big picnic tables and on the adjacent site there are tennis and swimming. Through the site we could order bread and bicycles.

We held a family reunion, also a part of our 50th wedding anniversary later this year. We were there with 30 people, including children. The house attracted us because of the cozy and homely atmosphere. This was only confirmed on arrival. The house was fairly clean, but the crowds definitely not fun. Both the owner and the staff of The Scheepsbel was very helpful and friendly. Was the house a bit on the cramped side and we were the bathrooms and toilets are not very impressed (swinging door and outdated faucet and the lack of a toilet on the ground floor, dropping water pressure 1st and can not shower on the 1st because of the bath ). We have quotde & Grove Den "celebrated the diamond wedding of my parents. The company is the oldest 89 and the youngest 17. Everybody enjoyed. There is feasting, cozy sitting at large tables in various places around the house. The campfire is a golden place for young and old and there are many opportunities to play sports.

A spacious house, but not for 30 people! A beautiful site with sufficient safety for children and nice places for activities, including a campfire! The trampoline was a bit messy, but good to use after cleaning. Sufficient kitchen facilities: unfortunately the coffee machine did not work! And indicate in the description that you should take tablets with you for the dishwasher. Unfortunately, the safety scored an insufficient: the mandatory smoke detector was in a drawer, but there were no batteries in it! (Recently: punishable!!).
