The modern, detached chalets are situated on Resort Veluwemeer, a holiday park set right on the lake.
There's a choice of two different types. The 4-person chalets (NL-8071-12) have two bedrooms. The 6-person chalets (NL-8071-13) have three bedrooms.
Both types feature a modern, complete and comfortable interior. All chalets have a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances including a dishwasher. The bedrooms are furnished with single beds. In the master bedroom, the two beds are pushed together to form a double bed. All chalets feature a garden with terrace and garden furniture. There's one parking space at each chalet. Any additional cars can be parked at the main car park.

Location and surroundings of object
Resort Veluwemeer opened in 2016. It's set right on Lake Veluwe and approximately 2km away from the centre of Nunspeet.
Resort Veluwemeer offers the perfect combination of peace, nature and watersports. There are some wonderful cycling and/or walking tours through De Veluwe National Park, one of the largest natural areas in the Netherlands. The holiday park is set right on the lake. Bring your own boat and moor it in the marina or rent a boat at the reception.
The resort also offers some modern playing fields and (interactive) playground equipment. There are plenty of other activities for children too, including the Adventure Fun Club and renting a pedalo, small sailing boat or surfboard.
There's more than enough to do in the surroundings. If you're interested in culture, the fortified town of Elburg, historical Harderwijk and the Bataviawerf shipyard all come highly recommended. A visit to the Dolfinarium marine mammal park in Harderwijk makes a nice day out as well. And there are plenty of cities that are easy to get to from Resort Veluwemeer. They're all very nice towns with historical centres, perfect for shopping, dining or a relaxing drink at one of the many outdoor cafes. Think for example of Zwolle (30km), Apeldoorn (32km), Deventer (38km), Amersfoort (43km) and slightly further, but also worthwhile: Arnhem (61km), Utrecht (65km) and Amsterdam (87km).
In short: a wonderful holiday destination offering something for everyone.
Resort Veluwemeer is a modern, lakefront holiday park with many facilities for all ages.
Reservations for groups of persons under 22 years of age are not permitted.
For groups other than families travelling together there is an extra security deposit of 50 per person.
Upon request, there are accommodations available, in which pets are permitted. The note "Pets not permitted" does not mean that there have been no pets in the accommodation. If you want to book a pet-free accommodation, contact our customer contact centre. Preference fees will apply in these cases.
It’s not allowed for companies to make bookings for employees who will stay with other reason than recreation
Bikes can only be rented on request.
During the period of 26-29 June an extra deposit of € 185 will be requested.
The swimming pool is closed from October 1 to March 31, or when the weather conditions do not allow it to be open.

Misleading photos of the booked house. The 6-person house that we had apparently booked did not look like the photo shown on the invoice. No fireplace. Make sure you don't fall for it

The overall impression of the park and the cottages is good, our cottage was slightly less so. On arrival it turned out that the sliding door to the terrace was defective so you had to turn around every time. The location was also not optimal, we were right at the entrance, which meant that cars, cyclists and walkers walked past your terrace all day, so you had no privacy. Finally, a house was renovated next to us and that can sometimes happen, but surely not at 7:30 in the morning at a holiday park where you are just there for your rest?!

Detached bungalow chalet at Resort Veluwemeer rented for a midweek. Enjoyed and walked. Although you do have to get in the car for 10 minutes. Accommodation was nice, spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Enclosed garden was also nice for our dog. Picked up dinner at Friends and Bites at the park, delicious! Great, we'll be back.

The first impression was that the chalet looked nice, it is decorated in a modern way and the kitchen was really well equipped with kitchen utensils and crockery. In terms of space, the chalet is really small, it should be for six people, personally I think 2 adults plus 2 children is more than enough and if you should have another child sleeping in a camp bed then there is just no room for that . The cleaning of the chalet really left a lot to be desired. Plumbing and floors were not clean, I swept the floor immediately after arrival and a load of sand and other things came off and I do not even want to name what was under the sofa, it seemed more like nothing had been done about it used to be. The windows were really dirty, there was also a white cast on the inside. We therefore wondered about the general cleaning due to the covid-19 virus, it did not give a good feeling.The heating is not sufficient to heat the room properly, we constantly had to set the thermostat to maximum to a little on the temperature. The disadvantage is that the hall, kitchen and living space are one whole. Every time the outside door opens, a load of cold comes in. On the other hand, once the sun was shining, it immediately became 29 degrees inside, so I don't want to guess how hot it gets in the summer. It is therefore poorly insulated. The main bedroom had a separate toilet and shower, however it is very small and especially in this cold period it did not invite to use it because it is not heated. Since the rooms where you had no heating or had been turned on are very cold, that was not possible. We had our rest, which was very nice because we had mainly booked before, but in terms of comfort and space we would time rather choose something else.

Excellent reception by the reception of the park. We were too early, but we were nicely called with the message that the accommodation was ready, half an hour earlier as agreed. The accommodation looked fine with everything you need in it. For cycling enthusiasts like us, the area is very beautiful, forests, heath, polder and wetland area.

The park is clearly signposted from the road and therefore easy to find. The bungalow was well and nicely furnished. The garden was fenced, but unfortunately it appeared to have a lot of holes at the front where the dogs could slip through, so that we were still forced to put them on a lead. The area is beautiful, unfortunately there is no walking route from the park, for that you first have to drive a bit.

We arrived at the park around 4pm and were able to go directly to our accommodation without waiting. Unfortunately, we had to realize that the kitchen was not cleaned. The dishwasher was full of dirty and moldy dishes, the fridge was also moldy and not turned on.

Warmly received by the reception with good information. The accommodation looked well cared for, we missed a senseo, there was a pungent ground air in the bathroom. Beautiful and spaciously laid out park vegetation still needs some time. Due to the high step it was difficult to get the bikes to the accommodation. The overall impression is very good.

Beautiful cottage. We are five and have 1 dog with us. Cottage is just right for us. Nicely clean, the only downside I found was the shower tiles. Clear mold spots at the joints of the tiles and that can be removed.
