There are two types of group accommodation at Resort Reestervallei.
For example there's the modern villa Pavillion Lumiere (NL-79550-38). Because of its many windows, the living room is very light (just like the name says). Both inside and outside this villa has a luxurious appearance. The house is fully equipped with all modern comforts. There's one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor there are another four bedrooms (two of which with an en-suite bathroom) and a separate bathroom. A microwave oven and dishwasher complete the picture. Be surprised by this luxury holiday accommodation!
There's also a 21-person detached villa (NL-79550-39). This holiday accommodation is very suitable for larger groups travelling together. It consists of two separate parts: a 4-person apartment with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room and open kitchen. The other part consists of a 17-person accommodation with seven bedrooms, a sleeping vide, three bathrooms and also a living room and an open kitchen. Together they form a large villa for 21 people with a children's playing corner and a an enclosed garden. The house is comfortable and fully furnished. The villa is located next to the swimming pool and the mini-golf course. Very nice for the children in your group!
Both villas feature a TV, electric kettle and a coffee machine. Each chalet comes with its own garden and terrace. During the season, you'll also have garden furniture at your disposal.

Location and surroundings of object
Resort Reestervallei is located by the ancient peat river De Reest, just like the name suggests. It's only 2 km from the village of IJhorst and on the other side you'll find the border between Overijssel and Drenthe at the same distance. Both provinces can therefore easily be explored from the so-called "Kop van Overijssel".
Resort Reestervallei offers a number of facilities for both young and old. There's a reception, a modest outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool and a restaurant. Here you can of course have a bite to eat, but you can also get a cup of coffee with a treat. There's also a petting zoo, mini golf, a playground and a tennis court. Everything is there, but not big or large-scale, making sure that you can always enjoy your well-deserved break in peace. At only 3 km from the resort you'll find playing pond De Zwarte Dennen, located in the Staphorst forest. Here you'll find a nice sandy beach, lawns and a playground for the children. Because the water deepens only gradually, it's an ideal place for (smaller) children. During high season you can get drinks and snacks at the kiosk.
There's more than enough to do in the area. A few tips for nice (day) trips are: the nice city of Zwolle with its diverse offer in shops, boutiques and nice restaurants and outdoor cafes (22 km). National Park Weeribben-Wieden, the largest contiguous peat swamp of Northwestern Europe, is also certainty worth visiting. Giethoorn, also called the Dutch Venice, with a trip on the water (17 km). The Staphorst Experience Path, near recreational lake De Zwarte Dennen, is also recommended. Here you'll meet everything that has to do with the forest in a different way. A noise hut, a colour room and a maze; all of this is less than 4 km away from the resort. For dolmen enthusiasts Havelte is certainty worth a visit (16 km). Amusement park Slagharen is worth a day trip (17 km). Staphorst is about 8 km away. For golf enthusiasts there's Pitch and Putt Koekange, a beautiful 18-hole golf course that fits perfectly in the landscape. From the resort you can also visit the province of Drenthe and even the Veluwe can be easily reached.
In short: you can fully unwind in Resort Reestervallei, enjoy your well-deserved holiday and head out to explore the diverse surroundings. Happy holidays!
Reestervallei resort is in the Reestdal to the north of Overijssel. Located in a forested area. It has various facilities for young and old and is only 3 km from a paddling pond. the black pines with sandy beach, lawn for sunbathing and a children's play area. An ideal base for those who want to explore the provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel.
Wi-Fi is included. However, this is a basic internet connection. There is higher-speed internet available as well, which can be arranged at the reception desk. Bear in mind that this comes with an additional fee.
For groups of people under 25 years, an additional security deposit may be requested.
Companies booking for their employees, unless for recreational use, is prohibited.

We were 9 adults and 1 toddler. The house was sufficiently spacious. We were less pleased with the hygiene. The kitchen in particular was not very clean and fresh. Because there is a lot of water around the houses in the park, we will not recommend this park if you want to stay with children who do not have a swimming diploma.

Nice quiet park, accommodation was not clean. Have passed this on and get half of the cleaning costs back. 10 person house is wonderfully spacious but very noisy.

Arrival very sober! Previous times with a glass of welcome in other parks! I have called several times or the sauna was in it! And the answer was yes! But the sauna did not work, the stops always stuck out! We had nothing else! Bad service! I received a reimbursement, but I would have preferred a working sauna!

Location, park and surroundings very nice and quiet. Nice walks and spacious terrace around the house. However, the sofa in house 129 needs to be replaced and it is a pity that the sauna does not work, but we already knew that. Furthermore, we had a very nice long weekend.

If you like peace and quiet, nature and a friendly, customer-oriented team, then this is the place for you. We had a 10-person cottage and that more than met our expectations. Partly because of this, our family together became a big party. We'll be back soon, that's for sure because we haven't had enough. An extra thank you for the snack bar at the park. Super big and nice house! Really enjoyed the days I was there! Very weird about the sauna !! My logic would be that I would not rent a house with a sauna that visitors are not allowed to use, but that's me ...!
