Type Gaarde is a villa for 6 persons. On the ground floor is the living room with double doors to the garden and an open kitchen with various built-in appliances, plus a bedroom with bathroom. In the hallway there is a toilet. Upstairs there are still 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
The cottages are privately owned, so the furnishing and equipment can vary House. Smoking is not allowed in our accommodations. You are welcome to bring your pet in the park - in different cottages are pets allowed. Some rentals have fenced gardens (ideal with young children). The holiday park Belterwiede is the perfect place for a water sports holiday in the Netherlands. Uniquely situated, about 6 (bicycle) kilometers from the "Venice of the North" - Giethoorn, a place where peace and quiet still exist. The luxurious cottages are all located on three small peninsulas on the shores of Lake Belterwijde. This beautiful lake is known as the perfect resort. The water is suitable for various types of water sports, such as water skiing, kite surfing, wakeboarding, boat trips to the Weerribben-Wieden and the Frisian lakes, fishing, but also for a refreshing swim in the lake!

Not only the water characterizes this unique holiday park. Even nature, cycling and hiking enthusiasts can enjoy their stay here in the magical nature of the nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden. The nature reserve is considered the leading hiking and cycling area of the Netherlands, with a generous network of cycling and hiking trails! Due to the diversity of the region in every season, it is impossible to get bored.
This holiday park is located in the immediate vicinity of Giethoorn, the Dutch Venice of the North. Electrically driven whisper boats purr through the canals (canals) of the place under the characteristic high bridges, on both banks you can see thatched cottages. But Giethoorn has much more to offer, from the Museum of Minerals and Fossils to the Museum Farm. In the notorious Café Fanfare you will be transported back to the mood of the fifties.

Giethoorn is a village of 2500 inhabitants in the province of Overijssel. This eight-kilometer long winding village around a village canal is located in the middle of the nature reserve "De Wieden". Built over the canals are the characteristic wooden bridges of this "water village". Adjacent is the National Park 'De Weerribben'. Together, this is the largest lowland peatland in Western Europe.
